I purchased a flight ticket through this website and paid in full. While waiting for the ticket to be issued, I received a call from their staff claiming the airline had 'waitlisted' my booking because the return sector was only 'partially confirmed.' They demanded an additional £194.26 to secure the seats at an 'updated fare.'
I refused to pay this difference as the website had already accepted my full payment and issued a confirmation. Furthermore, I contacted the airline directly, and they confirmed the entire booking was never confirmed at all. The agency’s claim of a 'partial confirmation' was a complete fabrication.
I have wasted hours trying to resolve this between the agency, the airline, and American Express. If you want to avoid a stressful 'bait-and-switch' experience, avoid this agency at all costs.

Given 1 star as there was no lower option available. Misleading the customers with wrong information on the website as we as the app.
Show Student fare and saver fare but there is no difference in both. When you select student fare till the end payment page it shows student fare but once you pay, they send you the saver fare ticket.
Then when you raise the issue, they harrass you for hours to get your own money back and penalize you for their app glitches. I am an olt customer of theirs but very disappointed with this action of theirs. Would never wish to book with them as it is so disgusting.
I wish to edit it because I was updated on full refund which is yet not been done. I have already shared all the screenshots of the glitches in the app and the website. Now, I was approached by the senior manager to delete or update my feedback else the convenience and service charges will not be refunded which clearly means that they are trying to buy my feedback with my own money. Woah! Well done easemytrip! When I said the same I was again informed that the whole refund has been processed from their end. But I still have not received any email regarding the same or the refund in my account till now. Over and above now I see this polished response from them which is very nicely hidding the facts. Not acknowledging their mistake rather putting it on to me. Brovo!
I would really appreciate if they accept their mistake and compensate for the same. So much of my time and efforts have gone into highlighting this to them despite being unwell. I would happily delete my honest feedback in case they accept their mistake and send me the apology of the misbehaviour done by their agents till now and once I receive my full refund and the compensation equivalent to the harrassment done to me since yesterday.

Avoid at all costs - this is a scam! I have been booking flights with third party companies for years and have never seen a scam like this. They take your flight booking and process your payment, make it look like its confirmed but it's not, it's pending. When you phone them to ask about it, they claim they couldn't get the flight at the price they quoted and then charge you hundreds of pounds more to complete the booking! They said they are going to refund my money (I have already contacted my bank about them) and if they do not, I will be completing another bad review! Absolutely appalling way to generate extra revenue!

UK. Booked two separate flights with them today because they advertised lower fares. All went through, got 'confirmation' and they even sent through boarding passes. Then they rang me after about 1hr saying that they weren't in fact confirmed but pending and if I didn't pay and extra £693 I would go on a waiting list where they would consequently cancel anyway and I would receive the refund the day before the flight was due. The reason they gave was that the airline should have advertised a flat rate and it was there fault, when in reality it was easemytrip who advertised the lower rate not the airline. I didn't pay, the booking then got 'rejected' and I am now waiting for my refund which they said should take up to 7 days. Nothing they said during the phone call was true.
They never intended to honour the lower rate. It is called the 'bait and switch' tactic and is illegal! I will be reporting them to Trading Standards.
*update* I have sent them complaint emails and messages to the number they give in their responses and had no reply

I booked and paid in full for flights through EaseMyTrip, and received a booking reference. At no point was it made clear that the fare was not guaranteed.
After payment, I was informed that the ticket could not be issued at the agreed price and was asked to pay an additional £138 per person to confirm the same flights.
This represents a post-payment price change, which raises serious concerns about transparency and consumer fairness. If a fare is not guaranteed, customers should not be able to complete payment for it.
I declined to pay more and requested a refund, which has been initiated. However, the overall experience was stressful and unreliable.
I would advise others to book directly with airlines to avoid similar issues.

Paid 8k for flights, they then called to request an extra £1,200 or we'd be on a reserve list for the flights we'd paid for and 100% have them cancelled 2 days before we fly.

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with EaseMyTrip. Throughout the entire process, they kept blaming the airline for the refund delay, despite the airline clearly confirming from day one that the cancellation/refund had already been approved from their side. Even the airline support team was cooperative and assured me that if I did not receive my refund, I could contact them directly again.
However, EaseMyTrip continued using the same excuse in every reply — “waiting for airline update” — which now feels like a tactic to delay refunds and hold customers’ money unnecessarily while shifting all blame onto airlines.
What is even more unprofessional is that their team started calling me repeatedly after I posted my review. Instead of resolving the issue properly, they spent 30–40 minutes on calls arguing, negotiating, and pressuring me to remove the review. I was told that the convenience fee would only be refunded if I removed my review. This is completely unethical and unacceptable.
I even clearly stated that once I received the full refund that I had originally paid, I would voluntarily remove the review. Despite that, they still did not process the complete refund and remained more focused on getting the review deleted rather than resolving the customer’s grievance.
No customer should have to go through this level of mental stress, repeated arguments, and unprofessional handling just to receive their own money back.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend EaseMyTrip for bookings. The service was extremely poor, unprofessional, and misleading. Companies should focus on genuine customer service instead of blame-shifting and pressuring customers over public reviews.

AVOID THIS AGENCY AT ALL IN UK as they are basically asking you more money the next day after you booked the flight online claiming one leg of the flight is pending and pushed the responsibilities to airline. They refused to refund and threatening you the ticket will cancel within 2 days. Checked with airline directly and they said this is not true! OBVIOUSLY LIAR and SCAM for UK SIDE. I am not commenting on the other branches, but UK SIDE DEFINITFELY SCAM!!!
This is a message for the India head office - if you are doing genuine travel business for good sake, I hope you seriously consider to do an internal ethical check to your UK subsidiary.
