I believe that this customer was out to take advantage of E4btc, and when he did not, he pulled together aspects of several orders to leave this disingenuous and untrue review.
First and foremost, the customer tried to take advantage of a system price error, where in our store, a model of the iMac was priced at €280, an obvious error in the price, as the CPU is normally priced between 3-5000 EURO.
The following Monday morning after he placed this order, I wrote the following statement:
"Hello, thank you for choosing E4btc. We greatly appreciate you taking the time
to visit us and placing an order. Unfortunately, I have to inform you that your order of "Apple iMAC With Retina 5K display" is not possible to complete.
This is due to a system error, causing an incorrect display of the price for the "Apple iMAC With Retina 5K display". If you are still interested in buying a Apple iMAC With Retina 5K display, I would like to refer you to our page where can find a wide range of Apple & other products. https://e4btc.com/
If you are not interested in buying anything on E4btc, I would also like
to inform you that we offer our customers the chance to buy ANYTHING
online with All4btc.com. Finally, In order to return your btc, I need from you a wallet address, or an EUR bank account."
After this, the customer gave me no instructions about this order until
February 20. It was after this, that I informed him again of the error, and asked how he would like to proceed, with a new item, refund or buy the computer for the real price. It was not until March 10, that he responded and asked for his money back.
We make it very clear in our terms of service:
“Using BitPay's conversion rate, we accept Euro for the bitcoin BitPay receives. Hence, we are unable to refund the amount of bitcoin sent. We can only refund the Euro-equivalent of bitcoin on the day of refund, or Euro directly via bank transfer or other mutually-agreed payment processor. The refunded bitcoin amount will be calculated using the BitPay’s rate at the time the refund is made. The precise bitcoin amount will likely be different than the original amount sent, but it’s value will be equivalent in the pricing currency. We are not accountable for any fluctuations of the Bitcoin exchange rate and therefore we cannot assume liability for resulting losses or gains. A refund of Bitcoins using the original exchange rate to Euro is not possible.”
By March 15, the return was complete.
