They will not help you

I have been a good customer for 16 yrs and this bank has 3 times turned their back on me when I have fraudulent issues or overcharged issues. Today having a problem with lyft adding a $5 tip without my consent. Lyft telling me nothing I can do about it and showing the charges as a combined charge covering up for 2 charges. The bank refuses to do anything without seeing a receipt. It will cost me $30 to get to branch bank and show them the receipt on my phone. There was another issues with a company called Texas eviction stoppers. This woman claims to be an attorney bit is not. Charged me $350
To handle an eviction. Told me to write a check and deposit into her bank which is Bank of America. I did. When I got the eviction notice I called her and she told she needed $400 dollars. She never told me it would cost another $400. I never got any help from her. Chase bank said it was a bonified check and could do nothing. Then someone at chase put a block on my debit card. I was told for security long after it had been done. It was a nightmare!!! I did not understand why all my transactions were being declined. I spoke one man who told me what wad happening and told me I could have the block removed. I so thankful for this one man at that bank. This bank seems to think and act as if the money is theirs and do not feel that they have to tell the owner of that money what they are doing. After 16 yrs in good standing I am to get a Social Security express debit card.

Customer service is inconsistent in a way that should not be possible

Called the customer service four times in the past year for four different issues and had four completely different experiences ranging from genuinely excellent to deeply frustrating. Same bank, same phone number, wildly different outcomes depending entirely on who picked up. The good interactions were really good, knowledgeable, efficient, actually empowered to resolve things. The bad ones felt like talking to someone reading from a manual who could not deviate from the script regardless of what I said. Three stars because the average is fine but the variance should not be this wide at a bank this size.

The reason I joined chase as my 2nd…

The reason I joined chase as my 2nd bank was because they are the best face to face bank for my needs to be absolutely met with the best and most courteous tellers and GM and Regional Mang's. I've been very happy with them! Coming back to them as my 2nd was the best move for me to make. Plus me having to put a shout out to the Yucca Valley,CA. Branch of chase for the greatest people I've had to deal with for restarting a new account. To the regional mang...ma'am thank you for your kindness in dealing with the scam I brought to your attention I really appreciate your help and understanding in that matter 💯🔥😁.

Mixed Review, Now Better Than Before

Years ago, I chose this bank for a business account to import goods from overseas. They lost our very first wire and could not find it for close to 60 days. Set our timeline back 2 full months without any legitimate reason/s for their losing our funds. They had no remedies and were completely incompetent in tracking down the 5-figure wire.

I moved to a location where there was a branch near me and have been doing business with them for a few years now, unscathed. They have given me excellent lines of credit/offers, etc. Their apps and CS are easy to deal with.

My experiences with chase have mostly…

My experiences with chase have mostly been good up until recently .my wife and I returned from a trip to Bermuda. While there I had to withdraw Bermuda currency. I still had 50 dollars Bermuda dollars left so I tried two chase banks in the vicinity of my job. Both kindly refused to exchange the currency. I called customer service and the representative told me it was each branch discretion to accept or not and advised me to call banks in my neighborhood. I did send a email asking if I could be notified of a branch that accepts the money but to no avail.

CHASE BANK IS BAD FOR SENIORS!

I would not even give them one star!
After 30 years of banking they let someone file a fake power of attorney and add themself to her bank account! They told the bank she had Alzheimer’s!
After several tries to remedy this condition my 85 year old mother was exhausted! We showed them she legally rescinded the fake POA! We recorded it at the Courthouse! They let an arrogant grandson disrespect her and his father and get away with his continued fraud and harassment! We had to get our local police involved and Chase never got her money back to her account!
Ludicrous!

Don’t bank here. They have a banker that works there named Lilia Mahmoudi. She should not be trusted or in the position she is in if you ask me. She entered into financial agreements with me on a personal level. Then proceeded to abandon her responsibilities as soon as things didn’t work out the way she wanted it. She went behind my back and tried to remove herself from the joint loan without notifying me which is considered fraud if she was successful. The loan isn’t with chase bank. I tried to file multiple complaints to the bank carrying the loan as well as chase bank. Pretty sure nothing was done about it. Now I can only warn people of the type of person she is and hope it helps others avoid dealing with her. I have been a chase bank customer for over 20 years. I am now considering changing banks. If they have more people like her working there I want no part of that bank. If she was willing to do that to someone she knows I would hate to see what she does to someone she doesn’t know.

CHASE BANK IS THE WORST BANK FOR BANKING

This bank is not only discrimminating and racist but they are high way robbers. Out of the blue after over 10 years banking with this bank, they closed my account!! When asking what the heck why, they claim they have the right to close any account at random. The discrimmination I cannot discuse until it is filed. NEVER USE ONE OF THEIR FREEDOM CARDS OR ZERO INTEREST CARDS. THE INTEREST IS HIGHER THEN YOUR PAYMENTS!!!
When I realized the high interest I was paying I had my balance transferred to another bank.!! This was in about May 2024. Nearly six months later I get a notification on my new bank regarding my credit.
Found that Chase put a $43 charge defaulted on my clean credit!!! They never called me to say I owed anything, nor sent a letter about a $43 ! When I disputed it they continued to claim I owed them this amount and started charging me INTEREST!! i REPORTED THEM BOTH to the Finanicial banking
and the BBB. They still refuse to move the charge off my credit report. I WILL NOT PAY THEM $43 as when I transferred the balance of my account there was no balance left!!! Worst!! they did not informed me direct!! They just put it on my credit report!! STAY AWAY FROM CHASE.! THEY ARE NOT ONLY GREEDY BUT THEY ARE RACIST. OF which I am filing a complaint!! The date listed is not specific as it was about May 2024. Saw on my credit report October 2024

Deliberate obfuscation, no customer support.

Deliberate obfuscation, deliberate removal of access to phone support if you lose your card. The phone tree is deliberately designed so you CAN NOT get access to a phone rep to cancel your account or get service regarding automatic payments. This is to prevent you from STOPPING automatic payments. Answer is to call a different number like brokerage and tell them they story

Someone took $300 out of my account in 2 other states

Someone took $300 out of my account at CVS. I never go to CVS. I reported it to Chase. They said they investigated it and there was no fraud. I asked them to tell me what they investigated. They wrote back saying they investigated.

Oct. 12 - Took my $100 at CVS Pharmacy #00762 Amherst NY, recorded in my account Oct. 15.

Oct. 12 - Took my $100 at CVS Pharmacy #00618 Amherst NY, recorded in my account Oct. 15

Oct. 13 - Took my $103.06 at CVS Pharmacy #02481 King of Prussia PA, recorded in my account Oct. 15

I reported it on Oct. 15, Claim #324998836530001. My debit card number ending 4980 was used and the money came out of my checking account ending 0630.

Oct. 21, Chase reported to me that they investigated and I authorized the transaction. I asked for the information they used in their investigation.

Oct. 29, Chase reported to me that the information they used was the information they used in their investigation (whatever that means).

The money was apparently taken by someone who was traveling in New York and Pennsylvania. On October 12 I was at home in Sebring, FL, recovering from Hurricane Melton.

I’m a small business owner that uses…

I’m a small business owner that uses chase for accepting credit cards. I have been a chase customer for almost 2 years and have used their credit card processor for over 5 months. In 5 month I have had over 72,000 dollars in charges with 0 dispute or charge back and chase wepay decided to close my account. To make it worse they are not refunding any of the money they’ve collected for at least 120 days. Interestingly, they said my account was closed because of potential high risk of charge back when there has not been a single one to this date.

Furthermore, they like to play with your emotions. Closing my card professor and withholding my money is stressful enough, after I filed an appeal for the the funds to be released, they initially denied it, but on second appeal it was approved only to get a rejection letter hours later, again.

Shame on you, Chase business. Your personal side has a fantastic customer service, and by outsourcing your payment acceptance method on the business side, you will be like the other big bank that no longer exists because your customers will runaway

Chase used to be wonderful

Chase used to be wonderful. If a had an issue, it was usually resolved with efficiency and grace. No longer. I was charged a $25 monthly fee for a savings account which supposedly dipped below the threshold for it to be free. I asked them to point out when that happened and they got back to me with an offer of a savings account that only costs $5 a month. REALLY? $5 or $25 for holding my money and giving me virtually zero interest? What's with having to pay a bank to keep my money? I am livid. And I am so out of there.

I have been a client for almost 40 years, starting when I won an account for high school student achievement. There are numerous branches full of helpful people, disappointing me three times (lost a star), while getting it right on over 50 other branch visits (not counting machines). The machine network is good but similar to everyone else. The online banking application has always been first rate and continues as such to this day.

Despite being a loyal customer who uses…

Despite being a loyal customer who uses Chase bank for the convenience of paying my Chase credit card and mortgage payments on time, I have been consistently hit with excessive service fees. Despite my efforts to address this issue with the bank, they have failed to provide a satisfactory resolution. This lack of consideration for account holders is disappointing and reflects poorly on Chase's commitment to customer service. I urge others to be cautious when choosing to bank with Chase, as their disregard for account holder concerns is unacceptable.
