To those people like myself who have been completely ripped off with a totally disgraceful dangerous installation arranged by two directors now incarcerated on serious drug charges: please write to the Insolvency Service (government website) to try to hasten the appointment of liquidators. It could take months for Companies House to catch up with it all. (The installation was in August 2024 - I have just had a judgment awarded in my favour in the Courts).
windows fitted 2024, leaking problems from start.
horible agent made them worse after each visit.! Now leaking worse than ever and now no response whatsoever from DX.
Have now put forward claim on guarantee, but, have to wait on the company declaring to companies house whether they are insolvent.
Staff were excellent. I was happy until they left UPVC for largest window in my driveway without telling me in full knowledge that my son parked his van there. This was November and he had moved his van to allow their van to park there before going to work. He returned at 8pm on a very dark, wintry night, reversed in , couldn’t see the UPVC and reversed over some of it.
According to them it was on my property so my responsibility. They said nothing, fitted the window without the sill and requested the balance of the fee before I realised what had been done. There was a safe place behind a gate at the end of my driveway where the UPVC could have been placed and was the most obvious place to leave it.
I was told I would be charged for fitting. They couldn’t deliver the window until 3 days later as they didn’t have emoluments lift it. W they’re out of business.
We got our windows put in march 2023 should of been done in the january they offered us vouchers for the delay but never received the after numeririse phone calls. we still get draughts in the windows and the door is not plumd. But trying get them back is impossible.. They seem to have different address now it was in tollcross now bellshill*** Dont use this company***
Made deposit for replacement windows in December but was advised in January that my order would not go ahead and I needed to choose different window style. When I asked for my deposit back they refused and I never heard from them again and they ignored all correspondence. Looks like they have now shut so will need to go down the legal route to get my deposit back. Disgusting way to treat people.
I have been trying to get in touch for 2 weeks as they have not yet completed one of my large window issues and evertime it rains heavy water is coming in. This has been ongoing since last November with issues from this window. Now I find out the owners of the company have been to court for other legal things. So now I have to pay more money to get this resolved and they were not cheap. Fuming is the polite word at the moment 😤
My windows were installed 4 years ago and at the time I was vey pleased withthe quality and service. in january I phoned to have a repair done and i was given a ate for this in february. Since then there has been no communication from them. I have since found out that 2 owners of this company were arrested last december for drug supplying linked to organised crime. I guess I can say goodbye to my payment.
Paid a deposit on 19th of January and yet no one answers the phone, apparently the company went into liquidation but it's still active on the gov website and they haven't informed any customers about their situation.
On the 20th of January they said the order has been processed and they will get back to me with a fitting date (for windows) but yet no one answers the phone or email...
They offered me a 10 years warranty for the windows and apparently for the deposit too but their membership with the insurer has expired on 9th of January...
This is a total scam and I've started taking legal actions again them.
I encourage everyone to take legal action against them.
Companies went into liquidation. Only found out by contacting the salesperson’s personal number, now a battle to try and get my deposit back.
Business has closed. I have asked 3 times to be removed from the website. Management have removed themself but not other staff.
Due to the circumstances surrounding the business. I don’t want to be associated with this.
Taking legal action, to be removed from the website
Anyone heard from them in the last week? Feeling like they no longer exist. Have been calling and emailing last week with no reply. Have had order in for bifold and window since October. All phones going to voicemail. If anyone had ways in which I go about getting deposit back etc would be greatful
Update- drove out last week and 2 guys were there to clear out unit and change locks. Everything still saying active. Sold to me with cover for getting money back etc if goes into liquidation (as had just gone through this with bathroom company)but then looking at it says receive membership number once full payment received received. I have no idea where to start to recover deposit- not paid by credit card 😭
Windows are lovely however the promised roughcast repair after they were put in (October) hasn't been done. There was quite a lot of damage done and despite constant emails and promises of the roughcast work being completed, nothing has happened. The company have stopped responding to emails and if you call it is an answer machine that doesn't get answered. It is now February and we are left with considerable damage to the building and risk of damp. After care is appalling. Work was paid in full but not fully completed.
Highly recommend DX Home Improvements. Windows and doors look great. The workers were very kind and friendly. Great workers and left no mess.
Great fitting team took green care to ensure they left a first class job
Would have no hesitation in recommending this company
Excellent Install of new windows!
I would thoroughly recommend DX Home Improvements, great job from start to finish. Everyone I met or spoke with were friendly, helpful and informative from Henry who came out and gave a quick no nonsense quote to Debbie who kept me up to date with the order, fitting and final sign off and Craig and Corrie the fitters, punctual, polite, friendly and of course done a brilliant job and tidied up after. Excellent job!

Due to inclement weather the fitters had to cancel twice. Blocked roads and very icey conditions in Aberdeenshire Debbie who I liaised with kept me informed and eventually a new date was set and they arrived a week later. The fitters came from Glasgow Joe and Craig were a great duo very efficient and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend

Had my kitchen fitted just over 1 year ago and the flooring is cracking due to not being fitted appropriately. Contacted the company back in sept and they sent out one of their workers to evaluate and was told they would get back to me. I waited and waited no phone call so called them to chase up. Was told they would call back. They didnt. Called again and was promised they would call back. They didnt. I have chased this company numerous times since sept only to be ignored and fobbed off. I spent £12k on the kitchen and now left with a flooring not fitted correctly and cracks everywhere. I find the aftercare absolutely disgusting and being ignored. Aftwr telling them on my last call in December i would be contacting trading standards if the matter doesnt get resolved as they had been told the flooring needs replaced. They still ignored me so now in touch with trqding standards.
Just had two living room windows and a new front door done. Firstly communications from the company before install were great.
Very happy with the job. Andy was amazing! Explained everything clearly and very neat and tidy. Great job all round :) Thanks.
