I bought the (pink) drying to white…

Update:- seeing the finish from the paint is excellent so that's why ihave upgraded my post, just need to be patient with the consistency...I bought the (pink) drying to white ceiling emulsion, very pink when i opened the tin stirred til white, but very runny awful on the brush dripped everywhere, I did have coversheets but all over the show. Tbh would I buy it again probably not could not see the pink difference only noticed bits I had missed through the sun on the ceiling.

I had a problem with a tin of ducksback…

I had a problem with a tin of ducksback where the final colour was not as indicated. I contacted Cuprinol via a chat and was very impressed with not only how easy it was to contact someone but how the person concerned dealt with my problem quickly and efficiently resulting in me receiving a voucher for a replacement tin.

2 coats is not enough

Recently bought some easycare Fine Cream Matt emulsion to decorate a small bedroom. Was painting over a stone colour but 3 coats in and looking like it’ll need a 4th. The paint is so thin. I appreciate that paint has changed for environmental purposes but 2 coats definitely not enough.

THIS is how you do customer service...

When I fell foul of a REALLY unpleasant online paint retailer, regarding a Dulux purchase, I decided to go straight to the company and even though my purchase contract was not with them directly, Nav (my contact) went way beyond the call of duty to put things right. Professional, pro-active, polite, respectful and really, really efficient, this is how customer service should be done. A fantastic and hugely stress-reducing experience. Top marks!

contact with dulux decorator centre

could not source the dulux paint I needed most retailers showing no stock but the answer I got from dulux was extremely helpful, surprisingly however I had meanwhile located it at Argos which delivered it free form wickes who had said they had none. Good price too

Paint peeling problem

I had been having a problem with paint peeling from my stair handrail but after speaking to Buddy in the technical information department he was most helpful in advising me of the correct painting procedure which i should use and which i am now adopting.
I would also like to comment on how quickly my phone call was answered.

Dulux Village Maze walls and ceilings. Buy with confidence.

I chose Village Maze by Dulux walls and ceilings range. How well the end result is will depend on prep work, tools and painting skill. I am a perfectionist so there was a lot riding on this particular paint. I was going to choose the Diamond range at £70 a tin but convinced myself it was OK to buy cheaper and do a good job. A 5L tin was pleasantly priced at only £25 in B&M compared to £36 in BnQ. My dull, drab hallway is now complete. The paint left no lines, bumps, patches. I touched up small areas the day after. I have zero regrets not paying £45 more for Dulux Diamond. Please buy with confidence. But invest in quality tools.

Say NO to using animals in adverts.

Dulux should not be using a puppy, or any dog, in their adverts. They're encouraging people to go out and get one because they look 'cute.' There are hundreds of dogs being rescued because of cruelty and neglect.
People don't realise that dogs need care, love and undivided attention. Food, a warm home and a vet all need to be provided by owners'. A Dog gives its owner much pleasure and devotion and asks for very little in return. Animals of any type, or breed, need these conditions. So, to all Companies who use, or are thinking of using animals in their advertisements, I say: "You need to think before you act. Think of the harm and distress you could be inflicting on a defencless animal. I am now looking after my third rescued dog. He's happy, as am I having him.

Colour problem

Exterior wood paint gave good coverage and was easy to apply, but the colour was very disappointing. Shown as dark green on the tin and the web-site but actually a bright pea-green colour when applied. Why can't Dulux get this right?

My Cinema Room

Viki was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable, on their website live chat it was almost an instant connection so doesn't take that long to get the information you require so all good and definitely recommend if you have any queries regarding you project.
