JK helped my son prepare for the 11 plus from May in Y5. Tania and Debbie were both fantastic, my son really enjoyed the sessions and, despite having previously worked with another tutor, the difference they made to his work was very marked. We started the process not knowing whether he would get any offers at all, but went into the exams feeling confident that he had had the best possible preparation, and he ended up with a choice of top schools. I appreciated the regular feedback and could always contact Tania and Debbie if I had any additional questions or concerns, with quick responses. The remote sessions were also super convenient for me :-)

We used JK for our child’s 11+ preparation for 18 months and were highly impressed. The level of teaching was extremely high both in terms of delivering the precise content required for the 11+ and also keeping the child engaged throughout with fun varied lessons. It was also very reassuring knowing the depth of knowledge JK possessed about the whole 11+ process. They were able to tailor the teaching to specific school entrance exams and advise on the nuances between certain schools. This was a great help to us as parents embarking on the process for the first time. Would highly recommend JK to anyone.

We used JK Educate for over a year to prepare our son for 11+ exams. I found them to be very professional, caring and great at communication, whether it was about our son's progress or anything else. The tutor got to know our son really well and connected with him very quickly, which made the tutoring sessions very pleasant for him and us, as his parents. We also booked the interview preparation session. To be honest, I was not sure it was going to be worth booking and was completely wrong. I attended the session with our son and found it incredibly informative and am in much stronger position to help him to prepare for his interviews. The best feedback I can provide about our experience with JK Educate is the fact that we have booked them to prepare our younger son for his 11+ exams as soon as they finished the prep with our older son. The Creative Comprehension workshops were incredibly helpful for my daughter and, more importantly, she really enjoyed them. Tania brought the activity to life by making it extremely engaging. We decided to schedule a JK Assessment for our 7 year old daughter.

She had a wonderful experience with Kara during the assessment, she was very well looked after and our daughter told us that she had a lot of fun during the process, this was a very positive experience for her and she was made to feel very comfortable and at ease.

The results meeting was scheduled very easily with Tania on Microsoft Teams one week later. We were able to discuss in detail the results of the tests and Tania assisted on answering all of our questions with knowledge and honesty - we gained really valuable information and provided with clear next steps and actions to support our daughter's education and learning.

Overall this was a very positive and well managed process and I would absolutely recommend.

Both our daughters have had very positive experiences with JK Educate. Tutors worked patiently, and expertly, with them in relatively short run-ups to 11+ exams, and both girls received excellent secondary school offers.
