Technical booking error, poor customer service
My experience with Duinrell was very disappointing. While booking tickets, I selected a specific time slot for the swimming pool. After an unsuccessful iDEAL payment attempt and completing the booking using a different payment method, I discovered that a different time slot had been assigned to my tickets. In addition, the booking confirmation page displayed the date January 1, 1970, which may indicate a technical issue in the booking system.
Although I reported the problem immediately and Duinrell acknowledged that the booking process had not gone correctly, they did not offer a cost-free solution. Instead, I was required to purchase new tickets and could only have the original tickets cancelled with administration fees deducted from the refund.
What disappointed me most was that there was no meaningful investigation into the cause of the issue. Instead, Duinrell repeatedly referred to its terms and conditions despite clear indications that something had gone wrong during the booking process.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Duinrell. When an online booking process fails, customers should be able to expect a fair, customer-oriented, and complete resolution.
