The MHFA training provided by Dualism was fantastic. I attended this via my employer and had the pleasure of being coached by Jane and Sue who were very supportive and knowledgeable.
The MH England manual can look quite daunting, but the hands-on training and activities delivered by Dualism help break this down and make it very engaging.
Would recommend to anyone looking to join the MHFA community
An absolutely amazing course, led by Jane and Sue - so insightful and had immediate impact. Some of the subjects are tough, but Jane and Sue led them with such empathy and with great advice. They are perfect tutors for this course! Thank you so much
I found the course of great interest and help although it was a sensitive subject it was put so well and even on zoom I felt a real part of it all. Highly recommend.
I recently underwent MHFA training, supplied by Dualism. Our trainers, Jane and Sue, were fantastic. I found them easy to speak to, open to conversation non-judgementally and communicated all topics and material in a clear, concise, easy-to-understand manner.
They were always available to speak to, and you never felt pressured to get involved in something that made you feel uncomfortable. I wish more trainers were like Jane and Sue.
I just went through this training, and I couldn't be happier that I did. Jane and Sue are both not only compassionate people, but they obviously are very passionate about what they do. I learned a lot about myself while learning how I can help others to help themselves when in need.
The training was intense at times, but Sue and Jane both made these times very comfortable and safe. Also, the 3 hours of each class really seemed to fly by.
As an added benefit, I was able to connect with colleagues I normally wouldn't have met. I think we all felt the same.
I highly recommend this training to everyone. It's time well spent, and I was sad to see it end. I look forward to a future refresher course when my MHFA certificate comes up for renewal.
This is an awesome course - Jane and Sue deliver this in a way that resonates with people - not just a paper based course, lots of interaction and discussion
Would definitely recommend.
I recently completed the Mental Health First Aider training. The session was educational, engaging and very meaningful. I appreciated out trainers, Jane and Sue who mindfully taught us the material, gave us an opportunity to discuss use cases and apply our learnings. Grateful for this opportunity to learn and most importantly be able to help someone who is struggling.
These guys are amazing. They brought the subject to life and made this hugely important area engaging and understandable. They also happily took time and thought to accommodate my needs as a blind person. Five 🌟s and would highly recommend to everyone.
It was a fantastic course that helped educate me, shone a light on areas where I had seen something but never associated it to a particular area of mental health and helped remove a fear about how to deal with behaviors that, because of their nature, were scary before.
It covered difficult subject areas and you do need to be prepared to deal with challenging topics but I got so much out of this that I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in how you can assist people going through a very difficult time
Well recommended.
Brilliant course, with great instructors. Even with a lot of experience in working on a suicide prevention line, this course left me feeling more prepared & confident at the thought of proactively approaching someone I feel may be struggling with poor mental health.
I attended the Mental Aid First Aid training hosted by Jane and Sue. They are knowledgeable and engaging facilitators who genuinely cared for the group. I highly recommend the course.
Can't say enough good things about the MHFA training course and the instructors. Even though we were discussing challenging and sensitive issues, the instructors were so supportive and encouraging - I feel that I am much better prepared to help support my co-workers and friends when they need it.
The instructor was excellent, delivering the training at an appropriate pace, always adding value to the slides being used - via additional thoughts/guidance and the supplementary resources suggested - ensuring all attendees were included and given equal opportunity to contribute, plus the constant care she took to ensure everyone was comfortable with the subject matters being discussed and the exercises being undertaken. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dualism Training.
i really enjoy the content, now i have a lot of resources not only to help others also to raise my voice to promote the mental health
Jane Webber was patient, thoughtful and clearly passionate about mental health, and she looked after every delegate on the course for the duration. The course was very detailed and factual, and gave some fantastic resources.

I am part of the leadership team of an SME and the course has given me confidence on how to organise our business to promote good mental health while also taking action to help those who are experiencing poor mental health.

I recently undertook the one day MHFA course with Dualism. Jane was a great instructor - she created an atmosphere which was open but safe and encouraged interaction from all participants. Jane was also very knowledgeable around the topic - she was able to provide insight on topics which were not strictly on the agenda but were important to the group.
