Avoid DSL-TECH at all costs
Take a moment to read this, it might save you a great deal of frustration.
I recently ordered a refurbished laptop from this company and had a terrible experience. Their customer support was extremely unprofessional, and they withheld a combined €1.7K refund for over 2 months until Refurbed’s Special Support team intervened. It also took three orders before I received a somewhat acceptable device:
The first arrived covered in large scratches and dirt (dust and hair in the keyboard).
The second arrived with a severely damaged screen corner, not surprising as the packaging was way too flimsy for a 2.5kg workstation.
The third seemed fine initially but crashes randomly when the battery drops to around 30%. I ultimately kept it due to time constraints, but for a €1K purchase, this is very disappointing.
The worst part was DSL-TECH’s poor communication and failure to process refunds despite repeated follow-ups. When I first asked about the refund, three weeks after returning the device, I received a completely inappropriate message in all-caps from one of their staff members. He then kept replying with a generic “I will check with a colleague and get back to you” without ever getting back to me.
I’m usually very understanding when issues arise, as long as they’re resolved eventually, but this was completely unacceptable. DSL-TECH is a very sketchy company!
