Don't preorder from this company
I pre-ordered a nendroid back in March from this company. The nendroid released, after a month of waiting for it to arrive I sent a message to the site staff. They replied back saying they were waiting for the shipment to come in. A few months have passed. I went on their site to find that they had canceled my preorder and didn't bother to email me to let me know it was canceled. Or, tell me why they canceled my preorder. Thanks for nothing. Now I'll have to go look for the nendroid on ebay.

The company itself was great, other than the delay from the factory that held the figure I was immediately notified and had super quick response times. They were super helpful and really kind people. Would recommend if you're looking for great customer service and an awesome selection of figures.

I'm going to state for the record,I do know there's delays, I work in distribution so I'm aware of such. I do however have a problem with this store and it's communication. Employees are disrespectful, smart asses, rude..just for me asking what was the progress of my preorder since they never seem to send out any updates on delays ....it started out good. I mean Sebastian called me about a description error on Shopify but after that....just down hill...hopefully can get my model soon since it was suppose to be here in Q1 it's nearly Q2 and still nothing;holding on..but I mean...they even charged me 225 and then secretly dropped the price to 197 for the preorder.. anyways after hopefully receiving model, I will be shopping somewhere else

Hello, we are completely sorry you having a horrible experience. We take customer service and integrity very important.
Also, we are aware of which model and product you are looking for. The reason for no update is because we too are reaching out to our vendor and has come across a serious amount of push back.
Till the point of getting a new sales representative who in turn, had to complete the entire process over again.
We have sent an update only because we don't have an update ourselves and in the world of anime figures we too don't get updates except for when they ship out. Hit or a miss and we have personally went to multiple customer service reviews with these vendors for a better experience.
That however dose not excuse rude and impolite customer service.
Also there is no secret when something drops in price. It happens it's a sale or possibly a surplus.
.when a price change we possible has it passed out time line and need to pre-order closed out. This could happen to any figure any product anywhere to anybody. If you would like to provide more insight on this then that is very much appreciated.
Now for our main topic of concern was your overall customer service experience. Please, message at store@dragonnovelties.com directly. With the information of your concerns. This line of communication is very effective to reaching out to Higher Management and will receive a reply back.
Once again we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

3 months after expected delivery and still no update
I cant speak to the quality of the product because it hasn't arrived yet. I've been sent emails to rate my item because it essentially supposed to be here last May. I reached out a couple months ago and was told I would get an update but haven't received a single update

When you brought this up to our attention - the actual Owner responded back to you asking for more information - which you failed to provide.
After he personally went ahead to figure out why you would say the item was in circulation already, he reached out to the Actual manufacturer to get an update as to why he would not have this item if it was already out.
Turns out Japan released it 1 month ago and August is the actual shipping date for America. Which still shows on our website as the Release Date. Which still shows as the update. When you were asked to review the item - he personally asked for where you have received it? Instead you wrote a review with no means of us having the ability to resolve your issue.
All pre-orders have an update and Actual shipping date - You would have never gotten this item in May because it was not out in May-August has always been this items ship date nothing has changed.
We have customers who placed this order Last year since it was announced in October and you're the only 1 who has not received an update. Which tells you its not out yet doesn't it?
We make sure of the following:
- Our items are accurate and on time.
- We answered you within 24 hours of your issue - with no response back!
- We take pride in our customer service and the ability to assist!
If you are unsatisfied with the service you were provided - you can always refund your money 100% and you can get it from Japan, and pay for the price hike in shipping and have it sonner, but risk the chance of not having the item.
Or, you could have been more tactful and professional like we have on our end to have responded back to us. You did get an update - you did get a response less than 24 hours, we had an answer for you, and we provided open communication.
If you wish for more information please feel free the use the correct channel which is email and someone will respond back withing the 24 -48 hour period.

Love my plushie
