My experience with Dr

My experience with Dr. Adams Aesthetics was very disappointing and unprofessional.

I placed an order because the product was clearly shown as available on the website. My order details were:

- Order number: UK0011919
- Order date: 21 March 2026
- Product: Mesoestetic Dermamelan Intimate Pack (1 kit x 6 items per pack)
- Total: £212.95

After waiting for some time, I was informed that the order would be cancelled and refunded. It seems they did not actually have the product in stock, despite allowing me to place and pay for the order.

This wasted my time, and now I also have to wait for my money to be refunded. It is not acceptable to show an item as available, take payment, and then later cancel the order.

Very frustrating experience, and not reliable at all.

We’d like to clarify that your order was not cancelled due to stock availability. As part of our standard security procedures, your order was flagged for additional verification.

We carried out further checks and attempted to verify the order details. Our Account Manager contacted the registered phone number, and during this process, we were advised that the order had not been placed by the individual we spoke with. We also followed up via additional communication, and again received confirmation that the order was not recognized.

Given the conflicting responses and in line with our responsibility to prevent potential fraudulent activity, we were unfortunately unable to validate the order. As a result, the order was cancelled and a full refund was issued promptly.

We appreciate that this situation may have caused inconvenience, but please be assured that these measures are in place to safeguard our customers and their information.

If you believe there has been any misunderstanding or would like to discuss this further, we would be more than happy to assist you directly.

Ok but I’ll probably go elsewhere

I placed an order quite late on a Friday so it would have been picked up first thing on the Monday morning. I hadn’t heard anything by Wednesday afternoon so gave a call to chase things up. I think they must use a third party company to answer their calls as the person I spoke to couldn’t actually tell me anything about the order, they could just pass on messages. Within an hour of calling I received confirmation that the order was being shipped and it arrived on the Thursday. This might be coincidence but I do wonder how much longer I would have waited if I hadn’t chased up the order. I’ve used other providers in the past and have found them generally more responsive with faster dispatch. A lot will also price match so I’ll probably go elsewhere in the future.

I’ve looked into your order and can see that the original parcel was returned to our office after an unsuccessful delivery attempt, as the courier advised no one was available to accept it. As soon as the parcel was returned to us, we sent it back out to you on the same day. We always aim to arrange redelivery as quickly as possible whenever we can.

EXCELLENT SERVICE

The company communication, coordination, handling the delivery is outstanding. DPD messed up on a delivery and sent the parcel back to the company. Contacted the company, got reply in no time, the issue was resolved in hours, on the same day the parcel was sent back to me. Outstanding!

I am updating my previous review. After posting it, the company reached out to me and has been responsive. They are currently investigating the whereabouts of the package and are in the process of issuing a refund for my order.

I appreciate that they followed up and are working toward a resolution.

Your feedback has been escalated to our Customer Services team as a priority, and you should already have received a message from Ben, one of our Customer Service agents, who is now investigating your order.

I’m very sorry that your follow-up emails were missed — this should not have happened, and I’ve raised this internally so it can be addressed and prevented going forward.

While I fully acknowledge that we have let you down with our communication and that your package should not have taken this long to arrive, I want to reassure you that we are not fraudulently placing orders or taking payments. We genuinely do our best to fulfil and manage all of our US orders, although delays can occasionally occur due to customs processing. At this stage, we suspect your parcel may have been held at customs or has unfortunately gone missing, and Ben is actively looking into this for you.

In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to message us here at any time. I did previously send you a message to thank you for your order, and we are always available to help on WhatsApp. I’ve also sent you an invitation to join a group chat that includes myself, our Customer Managers, and the Customer Services team. If you would like to accept, there will always be someone there to support you, including Ben, who is handling your case.
