I went to see Ana today for two fillings that she discovered I needed. I was made to feel comfortable and asked if I had any questions . The procedure started and was done calmly and efficiently with her dental assistant who I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but was also very kind and caring . The appointment lasted 1 hour and I left feeling it had gone well and glad that Ana had discovered that I had decay below two old fillings that my dentist had missed due to a previous consultation and a 2d scan that had discovered it. I am thrilled that I have found Dr Jung’s dental practice in Southampton and know that I am in good hands 🙌

I urge extreme caution before using Dr Elmar Jung’s dental clinic based on my experience.

I paid £1,182.90 for an assessment and treatment plan only (£890 for the treatment plan and a further £292.90 for an additional consultation insisted upon by the practice to discuss supplements with Mrs Jung).

At the time of the assessment I was very unwell and visited the clinic because they promote the removal of root canals as a way to improve overall health. I had no dental problems and had previously had my root canals for over 25 years without any issues.

I was advised to delay extractions until my health improved, which I followed in good faith.

However, I was never informed that the treatment plan would expire after three months. When I later contacted the clinic to proceed with treatment, I was told the plan had expired and that I would need to pay again for another expensive review, despite the fact that my dental situation had not changed.

I offered to do a further review despite no knowledge of this timeline and the clinic refused to proceed with treatment for no reason.

I have since requested my records three times, and they have not been returned.

As a result, I have been left £1,182.90 out of pocket solely for a treatment plan that the clinic will not honour, and which I was never told was time-limited.

I am now in contact with dental regulatory services and pursuing recovery of the fees through the County Court.

For clarity, Dr Elmar Jung is a dentist rather than a medical doctor, although he uses the professional title “Dr”.

Elmar Jung nor the practice have addressed any concerns privately. Nor have they returned my clinic records.

These circumstances raise serious concerns about the transparency and ethical standards of the clinic’s practices.

I had 4 amalgam fillings removed, so that took about 3 hours. Anna and her colleague were very gentle throughout, kept checking in on me to see I was OK. I didn't feel any pain, the numbing and careful approach went so smoothly. I felt safe and was able to relax as best I could.

Super Experience!

I had wanted my root canal removed for many years but knew I needed to be in safe hands for the treatment.

I had Biophoton Therapy with Sam Cooper beforehand, which was a really interesting experience and helped me feel much more relaxed and calm going in for my extraction.

Dr Ana Velasco truly worked her magic. I felt completely comfortable and safe in her care throughout. The treatment was a success — I only experienced some tenderness once the anaesthetic wore off. I slept it off, and by the next morning the pain had reduced by 95%. There was barely any bleeding and, most importantly, I didn’t need any pain medication or antibiotics.

I would highly recommend them!

I've just had my last 2 amalgam fillings removed yesterday. Very professional. I was especially impressed with all the safety equipment to ensure the mercury was safely dealt with. Regular dentists don't take these precautions.
10 weeks ago I had my jawbone cavitations dealt with. Before the operation Dr Pollock took me through the Cone Beam CT scan. He showed me all the problem areas and explained exactly what he was going to do. They got rid of lots of necrotic material which was left over from various extractions and which had become encased in the bone. My mouth has now healed, and I look forward to the health benefits which will accrue now that my mouth is free of the necrotic tissue which had accumulated over the years.

Everyone at the clinic are so kind and thoughtful. I had a lot of questions and they were so generous with their wisdom and time.

Ana renewed my retainer in a very professional way, with great attention to detail. The dental nurses and staff were also very professional and caring.

Thank you Dr Elmar Jung dental practice. From my initial consultation to two appointments to carry out the treatment I needed, I felt I was in good hands. Before and during the dental procedures everything was explained in detail what I needed and what was going to happen. Which consequently put me a very nervous patient at ease. My treatment involved an Amalgamated filling being removed a crown fitted and three other fillings being replaced. Which went very smoothly without any issues.
