I have recently enrolled with DPG for the level 3 CIPD course, and it has been great so far! Lots of information to take in, but the support has been super helpful! My tutor is Georgia and her induction and drop in sessions have been very engaging and it's an open space to ask questions :)
I am currently studying my second qualification with DPG (Level 7) and I am really enjoying my learning journey. There have been quite a few changes to the delivery format since my previous qualification, no doubt influenced by Covid and advancements in technology. Although in‑person workshops are no longer offered, I have found the online sessions informative and interactive, and I don't have to travel!
The learning platform provides a wide range of resources, all available on demand, which I’ve found extremely helpful. There have been some recent changes to the programme structure which caused initial confusion, but I can see these updates will ultimately improve student experience going forward; it has just taken a little adjustment!
Assignment feedback has been detailed and constructive, and it’s clear that tutors genuinely want you to succeed.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with DPG and would recommend them to anyone considering progressing their HR qualifications. Shout out to Chris Edwards at Student Services, who recently supported a request I had positively.
Very straightforward and extremely helpful throughout
My experience with DPG has become increasingly positive as the programme has progressed. Early in the course, the structure felt less cohesive, tutor feedback lacked the clarity expected at Level 7, and the live sessions needed strengthening. During this period, Sharon was particularly supportive in helping navigate these initial challenges and ensuring that concerns were properly acknowledged and resolved.
As I approach completion, the improvements are both clear and significant. Since Dr Nicola took over as Head of Programmes, communication has become more structured and impactful, guidance is far more focused, and the support provided for the CIPD Level 7 project proposal has been especially strong. Assessment feedback is now clearer, more constructive, and better aligned with advanced professional standards.
The support from Student Services has also been exceptional. Sheila and Robin are consistently proactive, responsive, and genuinely helpful, contributing to a more positive and supported student experience.

UPDATE
No response from DPG since his message below!?
Please, if you are reading this review and thinking of joining DPG - don't.
I started my CIPD level 5 at the end of January and the customer service has been appalling.
3 emails and 1 phone call over the space of a month and I have received no help with my query. I am on the verge of reporting them to the CIPD as the service I signed up for and am paying for, I am not receiving.
On top of student services not responding I submitted my first draft 13 days ago and have received no response even though the turnaround time for drafts is supposed to be 5 days. I have messaged the tutor this morning but don't hold out much hope of a reply.
I am extremely concerned about how this is going to pan out as I want to complete the qualification quickly but it will be impossible without my submissions being marked.
My query is so simple, about getting credits I have previously completed added,I just need a response.
I am Intrigued by all the positive reviews as a friend is also having the same experience as me.

I want to make everyone aware that ICS Learn and DPG are the same company!
My experience has been extremely frustrating and misleading. I initially enrolled with ICS Learn and was told I could take two resits. Later the same day, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional £210 to resit the exam. I escalated a complaint, and Rory (Team Leader) reviewed the situation and issued a refund due to the poor experience and misleading information.
I then contacted DPG, who agreed to match the quote I received from ICS Learn. I clearly explained the full situation to them. They took my payment and enrolled me on the course. However, I have now received an email stating that my course has been cancelled, and I must wait 15 working days to receive my refund.
As a result, I am now £348 out of pocket and left waiting over two weeks for my money to be returned.
Please make sure you read all negative reviews before committing to either company. My experience has been stressful, inconsistent, and disappointing.

I had a great enrollment process with Claire and she was great all through. I also love the DPG learning approach, which is why I decided to join for my CIPD course.

I have been trying to contact the team since 6th Jan about requesting a paid extension to my course. It is now 21st Jan, I have sent 3 emails and still no response. My course is finishing on 5th Feb and I have still not been provided a link to extend my course, or even get acknowledged.
UPDATE - after waiting for over 30mins to get hold of someone on their line, I finally managed to get a response to my email. With if course no apology or acknowledgment for why my emails have been ignored since 6th Jan… disappointing.

Regretting my decision to use them again :(
I used DPG for my CIPD level 5 so thought I would use them again for level 7...
Where to begin...the my study space platform itself is incredibly clunky, with quite a few errors along the way. A lot of it is AI generated and out of date.
Upon recieving feedback, I was referred to by a completely different name, which suggests either the wrong feedback or just a copy and paste poor attention to detail. Either way, not giving me much faith in the marking. They also do not stick to the assessment window timelines at all which makes it difficult to manage yor time and learning...
To top it all off, today I have been told that my final submission for my first unit has not actually been submitted (even though I have the turnitin digital receipt as proof), so I am yet to recieve feedback/ a grade. I don't want to move onto the next unit until I have this, which I have been told could take 15 days more.
When I have contacted my tutor, it's like they have not actually read my question properly as the reponse does not make any sense, and student services have not been much help at all.
Feeling incredibly deflated, dissapointed and losing momentum. I would love to switch providers, but am sure this is not possible :(

I have been dealing with Claire Smeaton regarding enrolling in the CIPD Level 7 course. Throughout the process she has been very accommodating and willing to answer all questions i asked.

I had a very disappointing experience with DPG Learn during the enquiry and enrolment stage for a Level 7 qualification.
Initially, communication was reasonable. However, once I submitted my invoice details and confirmation regarding payment arrangements, all correspondence stopped. Despite multiple follow-up emails, I received no response.
I then attempted to resolve this by phone. During the call, I was asked whether a specific individual had been dealing with me. When I confirmed this, my call was automatically diverted to that person’s line without asking whether I wished to speak to them directly or offering any alternative support. The phone rang out to voicemail, and the call was not returned.
Following this, there was still no response to my emails or any follow-up from DPG Learn.
For a professional training provider, particularly one offering senior-level qualifications, this lack of communication and ownership is unacceptable. The experience left me with little confidence in the level of learner support that would be available once enrolled.
I ultimately decided not to proceed and would advise prospective learners to consider carefully how responsive and organised a provider is at the enquiry stage, as this often reflects the support you will receive later.

With all due respect Rory, I had not yet enrolled, I had sent my split invoice information and was awaiting my invoice so I could pay, so your guidance or response does not apply to me at all.
Please do not try to imply that I should of contacted the student email, when I was not a student or enrolled. It pays to read my review properly and ask me instead of trying to discredit my review with an incorrect response and imply that I got it wrong, when I did not. A simple apology and I would of personally updated or removed my review.

Decided on the Prince 2 Foundation and practitioner course.
After looking about at various companies, DPG seemed to offer what I was after.
Also Rodney the consultant was very informative, helpful, and kept the November offer open for me when I signed up in December.
Would recommend.
