My package delivery was scheduled for a…

My package delivery was scheduled for a specific, agreed-upon day. However, the courier showed up on a previous day.

After that, my ordeal began. I can no longer find out when the package will be delivered. Customer service cannot tell me if the package is damaged or not.

After several phone calls, each requiring me to wait on hold for at least thirty minutes, I was told that I could pick up the package from the warehouse the next day. But just a few hours later, the package was automatically returned to the sender

Avoid DPD at any cost

The package was supposed to arrive on Wednesday the 22nd, but I got an email instead saying they would reschedule and I should choose a new date. That wouldn't have been a problem, the courier probably wouldn't have arrived, the 23rd is a holiday, etc. so I chose the closest date, which is today the 27th. The package didn't arrive today either, so I'll check the tracking. Well, according to them, it didn't arrive on the 22nd because I requested it. It didn't arrive on the 25th because I rejected it. And it didn't arrive on the 27th because I already received it and they have a delivery confirmation. Yeah, okay. Neither of those are true. I call them twice, they don't pick up after waiting for a quarter of an hour. I send an email, to which I get an automatic response that since I rejected the package, nothing can be done. I write in chat, no response. Of course, I really need the package I ordered, but now I don't even know if I can still count on it, or if I should buy it again and then chase the store for my money. It's critically underwhelming, never again DPD.

They have not sent me my package but…

They have not sent me my package but kept it in their warehouse for 7 days without explanation.
Today I managed to agree with their customer service that I ll pick it up in their warehouse on Monday. Same day I got a message that they will send the package tomorrow though I clearly told to their customer service that I won t be home tomorrow. It is chaothic, unprofessional and rude how they treat me.

Incompetence in ONE job you have

Package has a status “Preparing for delivery” for 3 days, on the 4th day (Saturday) they sent a message about the delivery time to our home address so we cancelled our plans and stayed at home to wait for delivery which never happened. Status changed to “failed attempt to deliver”. NO CALL, no attempt was done.
Wasted Saturday!!!

DPD = Delayed, Problematic, Disappointing

I was expecting an Amazon package, and DPD emailed me with the delivery date, time, tracking number, and my full address and phone number. Everything was correct and complete.

However, hours after the promised delivery window, I received another email from DPD stating the delivery could not be completed because "additional information was needed." This was false—the address was entirely accurate.

I emailed DPD immediately to ask why the package was not delivered. I never received any reply. Instead, about an hour later, Amazon notified me that the package was being returned to them because I had "refused delivery." This is an outright lie.

DPD not only failed to deliver my package but also misrepresented the situation. Their behavior was dishonest, unprofessional, and unethical. If you value reliability and integrity, I would strongly advise against using DPD Hungary.

No delivery attempts were made

They redirected my package to a different box station due to capacity issues. Fine. They did not deliver the package to either station for a week, so I called them. They said they will deliver it to the house. Then instead of any delivery attempts (either to a lockboy or to my home) they've sent it back to the sender.

No tracking information available and when you try to reach them on the phone they never pick up to make any inquiry. Their email service is bad as well, it took 30 days to get a reply. If I could give a 0 star review, I would.

Horrible service

They send back packages to the seller without calling you on delivery day, or contacting you in any way if you miss one delivery. Horrible service, the customer service cannot say anything, just say "sorry sorry", and when you file a dispute they don't even send an automatic mail confiming your complaint. Avoid their services because even if you get your package it's damaged, or you have to run two blocks to find the delivery guy because he didn't bother to call you and your intercom wasn't working. Also they make their workers call you on their PDA's which have suck terrible microphones that you wouldn't be able to hear it in an echo chamber.

It's probably one of the worst delivery…

It's probably one of the worst delivery companies out there. I have no idea how are they still in business. They were constantly lying about me not being home, and they even own me some money from a few years back for a package they have sent back... I have decided then to never pick them for delivery ever again.

My girlfriend ordered a package to me from a site I order frequently, I always pick DHL and they always deliver within 3 days, my girlfriend unfortunately picked DPD but ordered to my workplace so I would be able to pick it up for sure. After almost 2 weeks has passed today the package was finally out for delivery but seems like nothing have changed "The recipient was not found. A notification was left." which is insane because security always picks up the packages in case we already left.

So yeah they really should be out of business! What a joke of a company.

Disgusting service!

2 days I got the email about "unsuccessful delivery" when NOBODY EVER CALLED ME OR RANG THE DOORBELL! I called the customer service at it was useless! Now it says I need to pick it up in the "closest" office which is more than 1 hr away from my location! Disgusting service!

Charging extra for no reason

Charging extra for no reason, not delivering.

This time they charged me with an additional amount, saying package was over the limits. Was not...

Last year they did not deliver my package, because there was no available space at the parcel automat and without any notification they just sent it back.

After all I have to spend a lot of time to claim my money back.

Sometimes they look like a cheaper option, but does it worth it? For me not anymore

Terrible service : scam and lie

Unfortunately, I cannot give below 1 because DPD’s service is clearly not worth even 1.
My package was supposed to be delivered within 5 business days. After constantly tracking the package on their website, I noticed they are bunch of liars. They wrote that my package couldn’t be delivered 2 times. No one called me nor came to deliver. I waited at home on purpose for that delivery because I didn’t know the exact time they were coming and I didn’t wanna miss them. I had to call the customer service, after waiting for days. They told me that I had to pick up myself the package at their depot ( which is quite far and hardly accessible by public transportation).
Not even a word of explanation. They just chose to not deliver and clearly lied about it.
Few minutes after picking up the package, I got an email that my package was successfully delivered. 😒😒😒 BS… knowing that I am the one who went all the way to pick it up.
