Worst customer service experience I’ve…

Worst customer service experience I’ve had.

My parcel was damaged while in their care, and instead of handling it properly, they refused to provide any photos or proof of the damage. They kept the package sitting in their warehouse with no clear communication, and now I’m stuck unable to request a refund because they won’t provide the necessary details.

This level of negligence and lack of transparency is unacceptable. Customers shouldn’t have to chase basic information or be blocked from getting a refund due to the company’s own failures. Avoid if you expect accountability or proper service.

I have experienced multiple issues over…

I have experienced multiple issues over the course of the last year. The issues range from, delivery drivers (Lavish and madhav) claiming to having attempted delivery despite not having so to avoid going up the stairs and parcels being sent back. More recently, a fella named “Abdul Haq”, claimed to have delivered a parcel and uploaded a random house (not even my house) as the proof of address. I immediately reached out to DPD and after being on hold for an eternity was told that the package was incorrectly delivered. Then the package resurfaced, the package was then dropped of at a pick up point, where it was repackaged from a DPD envelope, to a DPD local envelope. Needless to say, one of the items was missing. Avoid these people like the plague.

Seconded parcel list in two weeks

For the second time in two weeks my parcel has been left at the wrong address, today’s parcel was a replacement for the one which was delivered to a random location last week. It has been left somewhere different this week.
Both parcels were supposed to be delivered by a driver named Roger .
I attempted to do an online report with DPD but it did not recognize the number it has pup on all my messages.
A very poor service all round

Lazy Delivery - left out in a public area - no customer service

I had a chilled food delivery today via DPD. I live in an older persons gated complex. DPD have one driver who buzes your flat (and I answered) and then leaves the parcel outside of our complex and drives off. His/her selfishness means as an older person I have to go and find my parcel and carry it to my flat. Also the parcel is out in the public area, they even have the nerve to take a photo and call it "back porch". Sometimes DPD drivers are great but it has been my misfortune to have deliveries by this one person on several occasions. Please, please give some customer service training to this person.

Don’t trust these guys

Long story short couldn’t be bothered to deliver
Took completely wrong house and even took pic and was Cardiff I live no we’re near there
Told company I wasn’t in which is bull
Horse had to suffer and it was my cats and dogs wormers and the horses supplements which she had to go without
Shocking all around and also a company won’t be using you gains due to your incompetence

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company.
Parcel was supposed to be delivered Friday. Notification that the driver was running late.
Got a sorry we missed you email however the driver didn't even knock on our door. Paid an additional £10 to have my parcel delivered today (Sunday) between 8 and midday. No delivery. On phoning DPD I was told the parcel is at the Peterborough depot and then when I questioned this I was told the parcel was "lost". Absolute scammers. I paid for vip delivery yet have just been scammed out more money.

fast and efficient

the emails on when your parcel willl be delivered,and a time slot, the driver also phoned to confirm arrival at the property,and brought the goods to the door,on time.

You delivered to who?!

DPD ask for a review on delivery, but don't enable you to be able to so am forced to here.

Thankfully I got the £90 delivery, left in full view whilst we were out (no chance to change the delivery, nor attempt at delivering to our nominated neighbour, nor left for collection as the 3rd choice as their options allow).

It was apparently left with 'Jon' next door
- there's no 'Jon', nor a vaguely similar name next door
- it wasn't left next door, but in full view on the drive

Waited in for my parcel with a delivery…

Waited in for my parcel with a delivery time, saw the driver outside my window delivering 3 doors from my house, i opened my front door to get my delivery as the driver got back in his van and drove of, then had message saying the driver was unable to find my address, spoke to customer services, waste of time, still waiting for my parcel

Unreliable liars

Unreliable liars

I've removed two stars because not only was my package not delivered, they then lied and said they tried to deliver it. I have cameras all round the house and there was no one, and no one knocked at all. There was no picture of my house as claimed, and I have an established safe place that has been used before, with a photo of it's location, so they clearly haven't even made any effort.
I've removed a further star because their chat bot is completely useless as well. It tried to tell me delivery was attempted the day before it was sent out and refused to let me speak to someone.
I'm always filled with dread when I see that DPD are delivering something for exactly this reason. This isn't the first time and it won't be the last. Rubbish.

The delivery driver did not even drive…

The delivery driver did not even drive to my home he just dropped off my pets at home parcel at a drop off shop ! Terrible terrible terrible service DPD and you need to have a word with your drivers not doing their job.

Our parcel has been marked by a trainee…

Our parcel has been marked by a trainee driver by accident as delivered. This is what I was told by another driver. It's been more than a week now and none cares. The parcel is in the warehouse and someone with brain has to restart or assign a new order.

Dishonest

Delivery person said he tried to deliver but that we weren’t home. A lie. When I called customer service they told me that the package hadn’t left their warehouse and that they would deliver the next day. When I complained he said I could come pick it up at the warehouse. Refused to let me speak to a supervisor

THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE to deliver my sky box but demanded that i give my old back on the spot as it was in use this would be impossible and this is not what was agreed with sky and in fairness sky did change this but did not inform me the delivery was rude and aggressive and i thought he is going to fight me footage from door bell will be loaded on to the internet what a disgrace from both parties

No collection, poor customer service


I had a collection booked which was marked as “nothing to collect,” however no driver attended my door. I was at home the entire time and had a doorbell camera confirming no knock or attempt was made.

I was told a photo was taken at my property, but it does not match my actual front door.
When I contacted customer service and spoke to Neel, I was given conflicting information and was not initially offered a supervisor when requested. I also asked for the photo taken by the driver, but this was refused.

Eventually I spoke to a helpful agent Gori, but overall the issue has not been properly resolved and the evidence I requested has not been provided.

I have since submitted a Subject Access Request for the data and images relating to the collection attempt.

Very disappointed with the handling of this issue and the lack of help from the supervisor. He said "I'm sure the driver must have rung the bell or knocked on the door", before I could even say anything.
