Hi I was suffering from severe chest pains and after an initial consultation and than a scan I was very relieved to be told my heart was ok and that my problems were muscular but the attention and care they gave me was second to none for which I thank them.
Recently had a Catheter Ablation under the care of Dr Babu. This was a month from diagnosis, significantly shorter than on the NHS. I had a clear understanding of the procedure explained in advance, and this was carried out smoothly and as explained. I checked in at 7.30am and was back home by 5pm. All back to normal now.
I had a heart ablation in the Bournemouth unit yesterday, a rather unpleasant procedure made bearable by an amazing team of consultants, nurses and support staff. Mr Sopher and his cath lab team looked after me during my operation and were very professional and skilled but also caring and attentive. The staff on the ward from the ancillaries to the nurses and the doctors were all lovely, again very professional and truly caring. I would highly recommend this unit and all it’s staff if you found yourself needing cardiac care.
