Absolute scam artists don’t not use the app
Absolute scam artists. Do NOT BUY FROM DOORDASH APP. I purchased items from Target with DoorDash delivery back on MARCH 5th!!! It’s now May 5th. I returned an item from that delivery back on March 14th to Target and DoorDash STILL HASNT given me my money back for that return. I called the end of March and was told by a customer service rep that “the refund isn’t automátic and you have to call to initiate the refund” (for the item that I already returned to Target!!!!) it’s now May 5th and they still haven’t given me my money back. I called again and the representative said he can see the refund was still never processed. This is horrible. Now that I know, I’ll never ever ever ever use DoorDash ever again. A new rep told me now I will “receive an email from the speciality team” and when I asked for a case number to reference if I have to call back I was told “there is no case #” this is absolutely ridiculous and a complete SCAM.

We have used the service 2 times, both times we had issues, first time we received someone else's order, the second time our order was cancelled due to "Your order was canceled because your driver experienced an unexpected issue during the delivery."

Doordash is taking out of my account every week they are scamming even after I've canceled and the people I call customer service are extremely rude. I have had so many bad experiences with Doordash from them leaving my food, to the driver's refusing to bring your food if you dont give them higher tips. Now they are taking more of my money
Ordered at 5:15 took hour and 40 minutes.
Ordered at 5:15. Did not receive order until 6:48. Terrible. You place the order and the app tells you a time. Usually 30 to 40 minutes max. Then it changes the arrival time over and over until it arrives almost two hours later. I want to tip well, but I have family waiting for dinner that was made an hour ago and has sat in someone’s car while they deliver other orders. Bad system.
Fine print fees
Have been a member since 2023 but this will be my last year paying for a membership(2026). The service fees are absolutely ridiculous 😑. Fees that have been added to doordash while having a membership. Since the delivery fees are waived because I pay for a membership, doordash decided to screw members by adding service fees... Ill go back to Uber eats where the membership doesnt have sneaky back door charges.

Don’t trust that they will issue refund
The Dasher contacted me to inform that our food had been spilled when he had to make a maneuver to avoid an accident. I appreciated his honesty, but as a result, the order was never delivered. DoorDash sent an email confirming that a refund would be issued. Over 10 days passed and no refund. I had to contact DoorDash multiple times for them to issue a refund back to the original payment method. If I hadn’t checked my credit card transactions, I would’ve missed the fact that a refund had not been issued. Not very trustworthy on DoorDash‘s part.

I was charged $10 more than receipt price, was unable to contact anyone at all, bank would've canceled unauthorized charges, but incorrect ones require tons of paperwork and 90 days investigation. Cheaters at DoorDash know about it, and expect everyone to disregard $10 or less...
I was a loyal customer for many years
I was a loyal customer for many years. I received the wrong order and contacted support for the order to be replaced. They refused to do so and refused a refund. I kept being told someone would contact me in 3 hours that was 2 days ago and still nothing. I even sent pictures of the burger I received that had a sticker that was clearly not my name on it, but still was refused any assistance or compensation. They lost a long time customer, time to give UberEats, since Doordash doesn't care.
Company with thieves
Frustating, received item with missing/wrong ingredients, and undercooked ingredients, refused to provide any compensation.
Also, one Dasher STEAL package from my doorstep wiith VIDEO taken, and DoorDash refused to do anything, just cover it for the thief.
Horrible company!
Door Dash does not care about their customers. They ignore you and dont resolve the issue. They are disrespectful and liars. They violate there own policy even when shown proof that they are in the wrong. Evidently they prefer to go to court instead of honoring their promises.

The wrong items were delivered. I told the delivery guy they were wrong when I met him outside. I told him to take them back and give me a refund. He got on the phone and gave me the “one minute sign” with the index finger in the air. While talking on the phone he started to walk away. Then he threw the store receipt onto my lawn, got into his car and back out of my driveway as I yelled for him to stop.
He left the wrong items; he was told it was wrong and then just left anyway.
The Door Dash customer service was a total waste of time, almost three hours on the phone with five people, including two supervisors, and my request for a return and a refund were summarily denied without any explanation. It is amazing they are still in business. I have deleted my account. Abysmal service, shockingly unprofessional, and highly inappropriate.

Doordash won't let me report issues
I use door dash often, but there are some aspects that are bordering on scam. The latest to lead me to this review is I was reporting a missing item to my order, but it *would not* let me select an item or hit "continue" to finalize the report. It would let me do anything else but this feature was entirely unresponsive no matter what I tried. I feel they are doing whatever they can to not allow for refunds or adjustments.

Doordash has horrible customer service. I was inconvenienced twice in a row by them and they tried to intimate that I had done something wrong. I took pics and uploaded them, followed the process and still did not get reimbursed for what I ordered. I have been fighting them about this for a day and a half now. The Orders: I had ordered a veggie pizza from Domino's and it came back as supreme w/meat. They reimbursed me for that after I went through the process. Then I ordered a veggie pizza with my credit from Mellow Mushroom. They sent me the wrong pizza. It also had meat on it. I went through the process, submitted the photos and they denied me and did not issue reimbursement. And have not still, after I have spoken with them 3x's and each employee stated they don't know why I am denied but they can't fix it.

It's such a hit or miss if you get good service! Most of the time, your hot food is cold by the time it's delivered. You get messages, they're waiting on your food, but it's cold when it arrives, so you know it's either an auto message or they are lying, hoping to get a better tip. Don't even bother to order fries, they're cold and hard when you go to eat them. So much of the time my drink order is missing completely. Are they drinking your drinks or not bothering to look at the ticket to see if you got everything? Usually, the drinks are not in the bag or shouldn't be, because they sling them around, and they can spill over all your food. It's just grab and run, so they don't deserve the bigger tips IMO. Then, before you can't eat, you have to file a complaint first because it requires you to take a photograph of your food order with their apps their before you can eat it, which is like an insult to injury. Guess it's a customer trust issue. Ready to check out a different service.

I've been screwed multiple times and im tired of my money being stolen exorcism when I did not receive my order. I placed an order for sonic on 5/26 for two rt 44 drinks and a added McDonald's on it. I got McDonald's but I did not get my two drinks from sonic and they stated " reviewed and did not see i was deserving of a refund". How am I not able to get my money b with i did not get order that is theft. DOORDASH IS NOTHING BUT A THIEF!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE LISTED ON ALL SOCIAL PLATFORMSAND REPORTED TO MY BANK. Missing 25% of the order; refund denied in 3 minutes
I ordered four meals. I was missing parts of two meals and missing the main for another two meals. I contacted door dash with pictures and within 3 minutes I was told that my concern had been 'thoroughly reviewed' and was not eligible for a refund or further action. No explanation. Just denied. It was my first and last time using Door Dash.
