Doordash is just a scam now

Doordash is just a scam now. They charge 2 dollars or more over regular price per item then charge fees and say your getting a discount with their dash pass. They won't even refund anymore when the food is clearly wrong.

This is one of the worst companies I've ever had an interaction with. The app malfunctioned and said my food was still being prepared when in actuality it was sitting on my porch, freezing cold by the time I realized it. The automated customer service offered me a refund, never received it. Followed up and was offered a credit instead, never received it. Followed up again and had one live agent disconnect the chat without helping me. Next agent said it was outside the refund window and they couldn't help me. Said I'd cancel my DashPass if it couldn't be resolved and the agent went ahead and canceled it for me without even verifying first.

Nothing went wrong this time..

Nothing went wrong this time... always late cold and gross they take too many deliveries and always mess up so the reviews do not suprise me in anyway and 90% of the time i guarantee not the people on the account I do not tip until I have my order and sadly I won't because of the service.

Missing package

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Had an item shipped by DashLink and it said delivered and showed a picture of my mailbox (they are NOT supposed to leave anything in a mailbox) the item was not there or anywhere at my house. Do not shop with companies who use their delivery service if you want to receive your purchase. Horrible company!

Door dash is the worse...

Door dash is the worse.... the dashers are super rude and the customer service at door dash is even worse.... I pre ordered food as it is an option in there app..... the dasher then texted me tell me he is going to bring my order before the pre-order time..... being very rude.... called customer service and they were as bad as their dasher..... this service is the worse.....

I just started working for DoorDash and…

I just started working for DoorDash and I have to say that the price of gas does not align with the amount of miles we have to go for such little pay. I mean I also work for Instacart and they pay 90% more the DD does. I even think Uber delivery pays more. Like right now I just got a 2 dollar order. What the heck.

Terrible terrible service!

Terrible service! Promote some deals that don’t exist to make you buy more. Customer service isn’t worse and totally useless. Never again, GrubHub is 300 times better. Bye forever DoorDash!

Terrible bait and switch tactics with…

Terrible bait and switch tactics with their promotions. This is just one of many, but they recently ran a promotion promising a "$25 credit on a future order after so many purchases by a certain date". Well, the unlock date is here and it legitimately does nothing. It's not a credit, it's a code a checkout; but the code doesn't remove any amount of money from the order.

Can't believe this company get's away with bait and switch marketing tactics like this. In an already unethical business model, specifically towards the drivers; it's not hard to believe they would pass the same disrespect on to customers.

Someone was using my bank card and my card was charged for a dash pass. I called and spoke to three different people in all three were rude to me. They basically told me it was OK for the person to keep doing fraud with my bank account because they still was making orders on the account. I’ve reached out to my bank, but my bank told me to reach out to DoorDash as well. DoorDash doesn’t do anything but steal your money. Have you speaking to people that’s not in the United States they lie to you and tell you that they’re in the office when you hear three dogs barking in the background and the customer service representative know that nothing is gonna be done. That’s why they’re rude and they think they can raise their voice now I understand why DoorDash gets sued. They’re OK with people doing fraud, but I let them know if my card get charged again since they Dnt wanna take it off they’ll be giving me more than nine dollars back it’ll be more zeros behind it. when all they had to do was just press one button it takes something off. They rather have people sue them and bash them real bad rather than just fix the situation.

I ordered food from a restaurant who sent me all the wrong g food. I sent pictures of the wrong order to Door Dash requesting a refund. They refused to issue a refund “based on their review”. The restaurant said they knew it was wrong when they sent it out but that I would have to take it up with Door Dash! The restaurant was Bubbas 33. I will never use Door Dash again!

If we could rate this site in a lesser degree we would. We have spent wayyyyyy too much due to our work schedule. When it came to the bottom line we received a note via text this evening at 10:17 p.m. AFTER we ordered chicken 4 hours before with the pic of multiple gambling scratch off cards which of course we nnnnnevever purchased. Had to call the bank and all that!!!!. The prior 2 days we ordered Arby's and although the bag was ripped open/greasy/driver also supported the pic with the ripped/torn bag/open food///and food was cold/missing items/crappy open bag shown in his back seat of vehicle///no refund was given. Result: we have spent thousands as stated. Service just; well stinks. Don't order from doordash. Period. They do not hold the restaurants nor drivers to food standards to keep your food order as requested, warm or safe anymore. If you complain too much they won't refund you. Regardless of the SERVICE you received and paid for..........................................

I ordered $82 worth of food and only received one of my items $16 I received items from someone else order. After multiple calls and sending a picture of the items I received they would only refund me 23$. I will never order again and will disputing the charge with Amex. I will never use them again.

Thieves!

I made a grocery order for over $100 which was never delivered. When I enquired / complained, they never provided an explanation of what caused the delivery failure, did not arrange to ensure the delivery would happen after all, and refused to give a refund.

That's not poor service. That's theft.

I've told their support I will lodge a complaint against them to the Department of Fair Trading in order to get my money refunded. I'm waiting 24 hours for their response before I lodge it.

Looking at all the 1-star reviews, I think it's time this company was properly investigated by the ACCC. So I rang the ACCC and reported them. I recommended that they read DoorDash's Trustpilot reviews.

Dangerous delivery drivers

On April 24 2026 Me and my son we rear ended by a guy doing a door dash delivery. We were hit waiting at the red light by a guy that was speeding,enough so that my head hit the windshield them hit the car in front that set of the airbag straight into my chest and stomach. Now I'm sitting here in pain and haven't got a single answer from door dash😡 my car was completely totaled so now I can't even get to the hospital to get my chemotherapy treatment. Great job doordash. You need to test your driver's for drugs.

I use doordash frequently, and have always had good service, The drivers are prompt, and my orders are always correct. There is one driver in particular, Jody, who is excellent, I wish I could request him all the time.

NO INTEGRITY

I have been a Doordash customer since 2020. I placed an order on Tuesday 28 April. They cancelled my order and I quickly received an email saying they would refund my payment to the original payment method. I got a second email saying if the charge was on my statement, it could take 5-7 business days to be returned. They gave me my return in credits. I reached out on the Doordash app on Monday 4 May, to inquire as to why it hadn't been returned to my original payment method as stated in the email. They said I took too long to ask for it to be returned to my credit card and that they couldn't give me my money back. I sent them the email THEY sent me telling me to wait 5-7 business days and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was given some "tell them what they want to hear" clown named Nada who said it would be returned to my credit card within 24-48 hours. I called Doordash on Wednesday 6 May to ask why the money was not returned to me and removed as credits. They gave me a run around and said a supervisor would reach out to me in 24 hours. I NEVER got a call back. I just got off the phone with them again, Thursday 7 May, and another clown fed me the same speech and told me a supervisor would reach out to me. I will be in contact with them EVERYDAY until I have it returned to my credit card. I NEVER plan on using them again!

Doordash don't!

Placed an $80 order but after selecting food the website said my food was being prepared. It never asked me where I wanted the food delivered and never asked to confirm payment method. I ended up having to drive to meet the driver. When I called it was like talking to AI because the lady just read from a script and was not actually understanding what I said. I've only used them 3 times, years apart and 2 of the 3 times were horrible, not bad, experiences.

I was in my PayPal account today and noticed that doordash has been charging $11.82 since February to my PayPal account I don't know I did not notice this until now but I just noticed it I went to the doordash website in February but I did not purchase anything it turns out that just going to their website they register you for doordashdash program. I do not order from them so there is no need for me to have this program why would I I would recommend not even going to this site because you're going to end up owing the money
