Can't Deliver confirmed orders
Ordered at 17.40, delivery estimate of 1h.
At 20.15 they updated the status to delivered on 18.45. while no delivery was attempted.
When calling the restaurant for clarification, they said that they indeed updated the status, but could not yet deliver or make the Pizza's ordered. As they had an ingredient shortage and were waiting on a delivery stuck in traffic. And would deliver the food ASAP.
While writing this review it's just before midnight, and the food has yet to arrive...
Maybe it's better to not accept orders or cancel them appropriately and offer refunds when you cannot make or deliver the goods.
At the very least pro-actively reach out to your customers instead of leaving them waiting for more than 6h. At least then they can look for alternatives while other restaurants are still open.
I've spent close to 45euro, and went to bed hungry.
Not only will I never order here again, but the whole dominoes franchise should be avoided if this is their standard business practices. I will go back to supporting actual local, non-franchise stores in the future.
