Dogtra is the Quality You Need

TLDR: Dogtra is worth the price because of their quality, dedication, customer service, and overall experience start to finish. Do not buy the cheaper amazon collars if you want what's best for your dog. Ruby was an awesome rep and I loved my experience with Dogtra.

We just sent 2 of our dogs, a 5mos. puppy and a 2 year old, to a board and train for 4 weeks where they use the E-collars. The training is more important than the device, I will start off with that. It is extremely important to link a good relationship between the dog and the collar.
The trainer said he has been using Dogtra brand for years now, and there are cheaper alternatives, but none of them are the quality and customer service that Dogtra provides. With that being said, my experience with Dogtra was nothing short of fantastic. It started with an email, then they had me reach out to them over the phone. Absolutely every question I had was answered clearly, and I really felt that small business - personal vibe. Ms. Ruby was a fantastic rep and I will be going to her if I need any type of help with the products I received.
I purchased (2) ARC-X collars and remotes, and it was an excellent choice. The knick option being up front is nice, while an emergency bump is on the side, makes access very quick if needed. I would have preferred there to be a "bump" and "emergency bump" so that you can use the current setting for correction but also have the back up. Not a deal breaker by any means, though.
I also purchased some covers to differentiate the dogs which are good quality and super easy to put on.
If you have a dog with long fur, like a German Shepherd, I recommend the 1in prong extensions, it helps make proper contact.

Overall, very happy with our choice in Dogtra and look forward to seeing what my pups can do!

Customer Service has been great!

Shaun has been very pleasant to work with. He tried trouble shooting over the phone with what could potentially be the issue with our pups collar. The problem wasn’t able to be fixed over the phone so he was able to send me a link to fill out for a service repair!

Shaun was fantastic to work with!…

Shaun listened to my situation regarding my current two dog collar (202C) regarding that one of the collars was no longer functioning. We discussed that I had two options. The first was to send in the non functioning collar for repair. The second option was to purchase a new 200 IQ one collar system for approximately $90.00 more than the repair would cost. Additionally the functioning collar from my 2017 system could then be paired with the 200 IQ remote. Shaun was fantastic to work with! Thank you Shaun.

Fantastic Customer Service Experience!!

I bought a Dogtra GPS fence as this was the one suggested as most suitable for my size dog and property type (woods around edge of yard). The big selling feature for me was being able to walk the boundary for my fence, but I could not figure out how to do this in the app. I called Dogtra and spoke with Brandon who was so nice and patient with me. He helped me figure out in the app how to set up the fence by walking the boundary around my yard. He didn't seem rushed and was very knowledgeable. It was a refreshing and great customer service experience. He encourage me to call back if I had any other issues. Very pleased.

Collar repair

I have a Dogtra ARC collar system and, when one of the collars stopped working, I sent it back for repair. The repair was done quickly and, when I had trouble pairing the collar back with the remote, Shaun walked me through the steps. We are back in business! Many thanks for the personal touch in taking care of the issue!

Customer Service Listens

After having some issues with the 2700 T&B, Dogtra was able to provide a reasonable solution to provide the required repairs to the receiver.

I’ve enjoyed using this unit with my GSP. And thanks to the help and understanding of Dogtra, I will be able to continue enjoying it.

The customer service is GREAT!

The customer service is GREAT! Shaun was able to troubleshoot the problem immediately. I was probably overcharging my Dogtra 200C. I needed a battery replacement, I paid for it to be fixed. It worked for maybe a year afterwards, but started to fail again. I loved this product, but now I have an even better one! The Dogtra 200iQ is the next generation and I love it! I like how you have an actual on/off switch in the collar only. I also like the USB C charging feature.

Dogtra Collar

I was led to Dogtra by a local dog trainer, Dog Train of Wilmington. Early on, we'd used a vibration collar on our puppy to help him listen and respond to both of us, but especially my husband, who's in a wheel chair. It was a great help to us! Our puppy is now three and returning to his old ways. We'd lost our charger and the cables and thought for sure we were out of luck. I called, and they responded within two hours, solved the problem with expertise and understanding. Shaun was super helpful! Thank you!!

Sean was AMAZING

Sean was AMAZING! He was clear on instructions, verbal, precise! It was extremely EASY for me to follow his instructions and I’m old so what does that tell you?? Hes THAT good! Honestly, he should be moved to management! And a raise to be honest. I never would have figured out the new remote to the old collar with out his help .
