A few of the documentaries surprised me in a good way. They weren’t what I expected, but that’s kind of why I liked them.

Malicious Company
Really not sure how I was deemed to have subscribed to this scam.
I received an email from them congratulating me and saying the subscription is £29.90 per month to be taken from my bank or phone bill. No idea how they got my details, I have not set up an account or profile, no idea what or who this company is. I checked with the bank and there was a pending payment. The bank explained they have stopped this and cancelled my card. They also state this was set up as an ongoing payment and they would likely keep trying to take monthly payments. The bank blocked this company for 13 months but advised the company would fight this, clearly they are well known. On the banks advice I emailed the company asking they delete my details immediately as this is fraud. I received an email back stating I would not be refunded, I should cancel via my profile and account, which does not exist and I should not try to cancel via my bank.
A malicious scam.
Be aware scam
⸻
Warning: This is a scam.
They initially lure you in by offering the service for £0, but the next day they charge £14.99 for nothing. They are extremely difficult to contact — only reachable by email — and getting your money back is very difficult. Avoid this service.
Scam
Scam. I’ve being charged for something that I didn’t subscribe. How they had access to my bank details I don’t know.
Pure scam scheme even on legit sites
Sounds ridiculous in hindsight but when processing a transaction for a dlc code on a reputable website the webpage refreshed when claiming said code into a Google pay payment portal with a charge of £0.00. for some reason I click okay and verify the charge thinking it's just to prove I am the person who purchased (I didn't make a profile), next thing I know I'm redirected to Documentaries.Pro with a message saying successfully subscribed, except there's no login portal or information for an account. Luckily my bank appear to have already blocked any future transactions at my request and if any come through I will report immediately as fraud but with no account number or profile info to contact them to cancel it I have no other choice. Extremely dubious and malicious scam.

Accidentally subscribed whilst renewing a parking App as an add pop up appeared, once realised tried to call within 24hrs to cancel, the customer call centre was not available during the weekend and apparently only had 24hrs to cancel, A subscription was taken from account, Don't know what they actually sell but the customer service was poor.
SCAM
SCAM! I just had to call my bank to block the payment after I realised what had happened after trying to access a recipe on a completely unrelated website. Luckily I realised in time what had happened - and checked sites like this for other people's experiences. A reminder to be vigilant and not fall for pop ups that can appear on sites we trust.

Thank you for contacting our Customer Care Team.
We confirm that your subscription has been successfully cancelled, and no further charges will apply.
Please find below an overview of the subscription process for your reference.
Subscription Process Overview.
Our records indicate that the user clicked on one of our promotional banners for the service, which led to the next step, where more information about the service and the subscription plan was presented.
Then, in the next step, the user was provided with additional information about the service and the pricing plan.
In the final step, the user agreed to activate the service and authorize the associated charges by confirming payment details through Apple Pay or Google Pay, depending on the device. The user clicked the “Authorize” button and completed two-step verification using Face ID or biometric/passcode authentication, depending on the device and payment method.
Once the subscription was activated, a confirmation message was displayed on the screen, followed by a welcome email that included login credentials, subscription pricing and frequency, contact details for our support team, and a link to manage or cancel the subscription.
The user was billed in accordance with the selected plan, and an email confirmation of the charge was sent.
Additionally, a renewal email was issued, providing details on pricing, service access, cancellation options, and customer support.
If you have any further questions or require assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Best regards,

SCAM- be aware
SCAM- be aware. They take an initial payment of 1p for something & then try & charge your card £29.90. Luckily I don’t keep money in my current account so my bank just keeps notifying me on the declined transaction . I’ll cancel my card so it stops happening
Absolute scam beyong clearly with…
Absolute scam beyong clearly with connection via App stores and back commission offeset for unscrupulous proactive fraud. Without warning I paid I penny subsequently allowing them to withdrawal cancellation a prescription hidden to charge to 29’99 per month for member ship with shows up after paying the 1 penny. This is fraudulent, shows the lack of ethics and control of App providers and now ill be suing you for your hidden fraudulent andn inderligered product and lack of ongoing due diligence less astute than me. What a disgrace. You empower theft and lack of morals. Your due diligence is non existing. I shall see your full public records to establish the prerequisites for inclusion to be incorporated under your multifaccited umbrella. Monies lost i shall levie. Apple be you responsibility given you are responsible for their legal and moral integrity. Compliance certification and over all their diminishing trust in your collective products😁 APPLE DISCUSSED ILL BE HEADING BACK TO ANDROID WITH AND THEN TO ELLON.

Complete scam.
Complete scam.
I was looking for an installation manual, went to a website that seemed to link through to what I wanted, but charged £0.01, so thought odd, but OK as need the instructions. As far as I was concerned that was the transaction.
But later that night I saw a £29 charge go through, different name, only when I rang bank I was told you also made a £0.01 payment to same company that it clicked.
So it’s a scam routine embedded in a search site and disguised as minor charge to access a manual, claim two step verification but use face recognition, ad your looking at your phone, no surprise it just clicks through.
