Stock issues and slow shipping times.

They have never once managed my delivery on time. This is not due to delivery company but rather how long it takes for them to find stock and ship from their warehouse. Also, they are not clear about how long its going to take, claiming delivery the following day for several days in a row!

Poor service when returning an item taints an otherwise good shopping experience

When I have ordered items from DiveInn they arrive in good time (considering they are sent from Spain and I live in the UK). However, their return service, in some cases, is absolutely awful!.

DiveInn uses either Royal Mail or Parcel Force to return items. They charge you a return fee for the return label - which is fair enough - and when returned using Royal Mail, this works and is really useful. You simply print the label and take to your parcel to the nearest post office - easy! However, if the product is to be returned using Parcel Force, everything goes wrong!

When using Parcel force they provided me with their return invoice and told me the item would be collected the next day! However, this didn't happen. Also, the actual Parcel Force return label that they charged me for was not provided. I was told the carrier would provide that. This also did not happen. I have contacted Parcel Force by phone and even went to my local depot to speak to them in person and show them the reference number and "return label" I'd been given, and they refuse to take the Parcel because, in fairness to them, I do not have a Parcel Force return label on my parcel only an invoice which has a GLS reference not a Parcel Force reference number on it.
Despite trying to explain this to DiveInn multiple times on their messaging tool the time is slowly ticking away meaning my window to get my money back is fast approaching. Responses are really slow and they ignore anything I have said in my messages. I always get a generic unhelpful message back which just repeats the original message telling me to contact parcel force with any queries I have. This has been going on now for over 2 weeks (9 messages sent in total with 2 unhelpful responses from DiveInn).

DiveInn should take the time to actually read their customer's queries and help them. It is such a shame because the products are really good and their selection is great - I just wish they actually had some decent customer service.

UPDATE 17/04/2025 - Even after writing this review I still get the same generic response from DiveInn on my return messages from where they still fail to take the time to read the problem I am having. (Return Reference 6153020)

Avoid this webshop at all costs!

I ordered a from Diveinn over a month ago, and it never arrived. The legal delivery period has long passed, and despite multiple emails and messages, they keep feeding me excuse after excuse.

Every time I contact them, they lie about “tracking the parcel” or “a refund soon,” but guess what? Nothing happens. Just empty promises and radio silence when I demand real action.

This is not just bad service, it’s straight-up fraud. Luckily, I paid with a credit card and have already filed a chargeback to get my money back. If you were scammed too, do the same.

Second time using this company.

After having a good experience buying some new luggage through this company a couple of years ago I decided to give them another go, bought some new snorkelling gear which arrived quickly, well packed, and a very good price. I'd definitely recommend them and won't hesitate to use them again.

Unfortunately the post code attached to…

Unfortunately the post code attached to the package was incorrect(this could have been my error in the initial order I accept) caused a delivery problem which was resolved eventually.
Despite this the goods themselves were exactly as expected and of excellent quality.

Unethical, Inaccurate, Scammers

Refused to refund me for an item that they incorrectly listed the sizes for on their website. They stated that I would need to pay for postage to the value of £15 for a return although the fault was clearly on their item description/incorrect sizing. £15 to return an item to be given a refund for an item that was £12.99 to purchase? absolute clowns.

Disgusting service

Disgusting service
Ordered an item that detailed as available.
I had tried to get elsewhere and they had sold out and contacted the manufacturer who said ( in mid March ) they would not be available till June so finding a pair, I was pleased and ordered from these who are based in Spain. Paid more than I wanted for postage but give 1 weeks delivery. The day before they were due I had no tracking details. Tried to phone several times but they apparently were too busy to speak. Tried to email and no response. Tried live chat and got a long dialogue of reasons for possible delay but didn’t actually state they had them in stock. They then tried to say they had already tell me they were waiting for them from the manufacturer which they hadn’t.
I had already contacted the manufacturer before ordering who told me that they would not have these until June which is why I ordered with this company as they detailed them as in stock!!!!
They have had my payment for a week, knew they were not available and did not even have the courtesy to tell me that I would not be receiving my order on time or perhaps at all
When I have chased hem up they were nonchalant about it
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE COMPANIES. DO THEY THINK THIS IS ACCEPTABLE
I have now got to try and find a replacement with little time but what do they care of my inconvenience as long as they were going to get their money
More annoying is that whilst they took my money immediately I have received an email to say that my refund will take 4-5 days 🤬
And several hours later after cancelling my order they still had the item showing as in stock on their website when it clearly was not in stock
I read a response to another customer who they had inconvenienced and they were completely nonchalant
Don’t bother replying to my review.

Ordered a pair of prescription lenses…

Ordered a pair of prescription lenses and a dive mask from them. The package shipped quickly and was delivered in good time with the package in perfect condition. However, on opening I found that the wrong prescription had been supplied for one of the lenses and the other lense was missing from the order entirely - literally an empty envelope. Got onto their customer service to resolve it, and spent days having to re-explain over and over what had happened as they just did not understand the issue.
Eventually, whatever painstaking chatbot they use in their customer service tickets seemed to understand.
They asked was the packaging damaged as they wanted to claim the missing item from the shipping company. I said no, both outer layers (bag and box) where secure when I received it, but that the envelope which should have contained the lense was open. I also said that this led me to believe it had just not been packaged in their warehouse. I'm not sure if they're still going to claim or not, but the lack of accountability shown there did not impress.
Regardless, I was told to send photos or else the refund couldn't be processed. The website would not let me upload the images so I asked for an alternative contact method. It took around 2/3 repeats of this for that to be understood and I was given an email address.
I was told that if I wanted the correct products I could buy them again, but didn't want to run the risk of ordering again with this site. Regardless, when I went online to check they had pulled the specification for the missing lense from their website - signifying that perhaps they didn't have it after all.
Instead, I found another retailer online who stocked those lenses. They did not have the equivalent of the missing one listed but informed me when I enquired that the prescription I was after had been discontinued years ago. That perhaps explains why Dive Inn were not able to supply that lense, but they should have let me know rather than ship an empty packet.
I did send the incorrect lense back and got both refunds, though I found the process slow and did have to follow up for the refund on the incorrect prescription.
