Good price for a Russell Hobbs microwave, unfortunately, it arrived damaged (with a large dent on the side). I returned it to my local ASDA store, and ordered another. I picked up a replacement a week... See more

Horrendous food delivery service
Horrendous food delivery service. So many unavailable items at point of delivery. Extremely bad stock control. All stock control staff should be sacked.
Refund "Forgotten About" !!
Returned unsuitable online Asda Direct clothing order to Asda store at Longwell Green Bristol using their automated machine drop-off system on 21st August, received a Return Receipt with a Parcel I.D. saying they will send email once refund (£38.50) processed. As still not had email or refund to paypal account nearly 3 weeks later , rang their customer services today (9th September). After investigating, they confirmed goods had been received back & refund will now be issued. When asked why not done sooner, was told "Probably got forgotten about by someone" !!!!! Told agent this is not acceptable.
I therefore assume that unless I had chased this, the refund would never have been sent. I suggest Asda amend their systems whereby returns & refunds are not left to the whim of an employee's memory/ability. Wont be using Asda for online purchases ever again.
Lost the will to live
Asda Wakefield what an experience firstly picked out a couple of pairs of jeans after 10 mins trying to find my size on all the mixed up rails , I then I went to pay one lady in front of me so I thought I'll not be long also there were 2 other assistants behind the counter but they just wondered off ,6 mins later I was served I was losing the will to live by now .Then I proceeded to the dog food section shelves were sparse and poorly stacked I hunted for ages for my dogs regular food found 5 loose rolls which I thought well it's better than nothing so I went to the counter first counter told were closing ( this never happens in Morrison's ) all the others were full apart from one who only had one customer, so I put my goods on the conveyor all the rest went through apart from the dog food it would not check through the till so she got someone to check the price on the shelf but no price could be found it turns out the dog food was part of a multipack that someone had split up ( how were we to know) anyway after much debating U was asked how much we paid in the past I said about 50p a roll so eventually they put it through the till at 50p a roll it took over 10 mins to sort this out what a long afternoons quick shop that was I wish I hadn't botherd
My summery is the store is filthy, the clothes display for men very random ,the choice and availability of dog food items is beyond poor and the overall feeling inside the store is shabby at best !
No delivery and no customer service
I ordered a swimsuit and order confirmation stated delivery by today which was great as I neede it for my trip tomorrow. I received email from the delivery company advising my order would be delivered on Tuesday between 10.00 and 14.00 ( the email was sent at 11.06). I was home until after 2 but no delivery. I had to go out at 2.20 and I left a note asking for parcel to be put through letterbox. At 2.38 I received an email stating my parcel had been delivered and signed by customer (clearly not signed for by me!). On returning home later I found a note from Hermes advising parcel woul not fit in letterbox and had been left behind dustbin. No parcel behind any of the dustbins! Called customer service on Wednesday and after a call lasting almost an hour (mostly on hold) I was told they would have to investigate and get back to me. I requested they send another swimsuit for next day delivery but was told I had to wait for the result of the ‘investigation’. So no swimsuit and no customer service. I’m now awaiting the call back. Not holding my breath on that and will not be using their delivery non service again 😡😡😡😡😡😡
Service I expect
Although I have had a delivery cancelled the day before it was due, it was the company delivering the item that was at fault. I contacted customer services and spoke to a gentleman that refunded my delivery fee immediately and is monitoring the situation.
I didn't expect such good service after the disappointment of not having my delivery on time. I felt like a valued customer.
Luckly I have had no problems with asda…
Luckly I have had no problems with asda online or in asda living stores. I find the clothes a little plain but they have larger waist sizes than most other superstores which is great for me 🙈😂 . all the clothes i buy last a long time.

6 weeks ago i paid for a settee and I'm still waiting for it it should have been delivered by 23.1.18.i intend to get my money back but i won't use the crap service again.
4 weeks and still no refund
4 weeks and still no refund. Without exception, the worst customer service of all the major retailers in the UK.
unbelievable, its as if they purposly employ morons
unbelievable, its as if they purposely employ morons at customer service. everything i told them was fed back to me as something completely different.
someone pls tell me how do u discuss a laundry basket that broken under a toddlers weight and nearly poked his eye out with very sharp plastic when CS thinks we have a basket ball hoop, that we don't have
then they keep asking for proof of purchase, we already said we have none ....arghhh
that meant we could not actually have a sensible conversation about the item or for that matter anything else ...and there was more nonsense from them!
i suggest don't every buy travel or financial products from them or u could get into very deep **** judging by their performance
i ask is it any wounder they've got a zero tolerance policy for being abusive to them.
its impossible to reach them by phone , cost lots of money too on our package, operator doesn't listen to u and keeps directing u to a dead end
update: i called the item brand Whamo it should have been Wham...duh. they made a refund and i got some sense out of them
Very happy with service
Placed an order with Asda direct. Order arrived in very quick time. Very pleased with service
Order cancelled and refunded based on a lie...
Ordered some Lego that was on offer for my daughter's birthday, only to be told it got lost in transit. But instead of ordering a new one and sending that out, they simply refunded me the money, which means that this was all a complete lie. They probably didn't want to sell it at that price or ran out of stock, so lied to me. This has happened 3 or 4 times now and so I won't be buying anything from them again. Complete and utter liars....
Ordered an item for click and collect
Ordered an item for click and collect, 1 hour before the collection time they E-Mailed me and said that the order was cancelled, called them for an explanation but they had no idea why the order was cancelled.
Gave up and obtained the item from a competitor company and everything went totally smooth.
I wont be ordering anything from Asda.
Ordered 3 items from Asdadirect and was …
Ordered 3 items from Asdadirect and was told (after ordering) that they'd all be delivered separately. I work full time so this is not convenient. They also don't tell you till after you've paid that they use several different couriers who have their own tracking methods. Needless to say I just so happened to check my order online whilst on my lunch break and was surprised to find out that I had a delivery expected to arrive at my home within the hour. Luckily I have an understanding boss who let me go home to sign for it. This happened to all 3 separate parcels so needless to say I will not be using Asdadirect ever again.
We have ordered School clothes for kids …
We have ordered School clothes for kids going back to school. We ordered 5 weeks ago. Kids go back to school in 2 days, still no school clothes. This is are third call to them. We have now been informed that clothes have been lost in transit, this means we have to 're order everything again. Money has left my account. Trying to speak to George's customer and there is a language barrier as there centres are not in the UK. We are having to chase them. And they can't help. Promos call backs and it never happens. This will be the last time I ever you use George. They have now told us that they will refund the money, this will take 7 days. So we have to buy clothes again on the hope we get money back. I buy from a UK company. I live in the UK. Why am I speaking to an Indian company who have no idea what is going on.
Surprised at all the bad reviews.
I have ordered from Asda Directs website twice now and have had no issues. I had to call Customer Service through a fault of my own, at first there was a language barrier but the woman was helpful and did sort my problem quickly. I am really pleased with my purchases, they arrived on time and in great condition. I would definitely recommend and I will be ordering from them again. Love when they have the sales on. Thank you Asda! :)
Asda customer service - what service
I agree with other Asda customers the customer service is awful. I am sure that they are trained to be rude and difficult. I have had cause to complain about all Asda services from grocery delivery, attitude and check out staff who chat to others when they are suppose to be checking out your shopping.
Yet another complaint today. I sent my daughter to collect goods I had ordered, she had the original email, but they would not give her the order. Another point if you go to the customer service desk to return goods before 10.30am You are told we don't deal with this before 10.30, but they don't inform you of the alternative and there is no signage to tell you that you must go to the front of the desk at the front; its all so confusing. It takes the customer service staff great deal of effort to look up and acknowledge a customer is waiting r, they are too bust talking to each other or pretending to be busy !! I have had enough of ASDA
Poor customer service
Ordered BBQ. Came quick enough but when we opened the undamaged box the one side panel was damaged. Phoned customer services we told them we needed it for an event that weekend they suggested that we could have a part refund of 10% = £14 but we would have no warranty on the BBQ anymore. We said that wasn't an option so they said that they would get in touch with the manufacturer an call us back within 24hours. One week later - still waiting for the call. Oh and don't take notice of their reviews, they only publish the ones they want
NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I ordered a Borneo double sunbed on 26th May and booked a days holiday for a delivery on Wednesday 7th June. Received an email with tracking number on the 5th to say it had been despatched. Checked the tracking, delivery firm Arrow XL showed it was ready to deliver at 22.16 on the 5th, was next shown as received at their Worcester hub at 20.03 on the 6th, and ready to deliver at 20.06 on the 6th. I was then surprised to receive a text early on the Wednesday morning telling me due to a problem at the warehouse they were unable to deliver and would contact me to re-arrange!! Spent the next 15 minutes on the phone to Arrow listening to a recorded message that an 'agent would be available soon'. Their live chat wasn't working either so decided to contact Asda Direct. What a joke of a customer service they are....was promised a return call within 30mins to let me know what was happening with my order. 5 hours later, still no call back. Tried again to contact Arrow, yet again recorded message for another 15mins. Rang Asda again, could barely understand what the guy was saying, but was again promised they would look into it and call me back. 3 hours later, still nothing. Called Arrow again and after 20 mins waiting finally got through. Apparently as it wasn't received until 20.06 the night before it was TOO LATE to be sent out??? I thought all these couriers firms worked overnight delivering to the regional/local depots? I explained to the young man that as it was their mistake and I wasn't prepared to take another day off work for delivery, I'd like it delivered this Saturday/ Sunday. He said it was too late for that so couldn't deliver until the 17th !! When I told him 'no good, as I'm away' (I really am) he went silent, didn't offer any way of resolving the problem, so when I said I'd probably be cancelling my order he just said OK. UNBELIEVABLE!! Got back in touch with Asda, to be told that I had already cancelled my order!! Seems the young man at Arrow had done this for me...at least he did something!! Have received an email confirming my refund, but only for the sunbed, not for the NON existent delivery...guess this will be more hours on the phone!! GOOD NEWS...ive found an identical sunbed, £60 cheaper from a firm called ManoMano...their customer service reviews are excellent!!
