I’ve three sets of dip and doze sheets…

I’ve three sets of dip and doze sheets now in soft and smooth and adore getting into bed to sleep in them. Especially after they’re freshly washed 😌 recently I purchased the soft and smooth pale blue sheets, but accidentally ordered cool and crisp. I only realised my mistake after throwing away all packaging and washing them, however dip and doze’s fantastic customer representative (Sean) got back to me promptly to arrange a return and replacement. Thank you Dip and Doze - very happy repeat customer here ☺️

paid for express next-day delivery, order never arrived

I paid for express next-day delivery, but my order did not arrive. No tracking information was provided. After a week, I emailed to inquire about the status. It turned out that the order was either never sent or was returned to their warehouse. The response I received was vague and showed no concern for losing a customer. I will never order from them again.

Don’t be tempted!

Bought some bedding just under 2 years ago. Rarely used as for guest bedroom. Paid a lot of money for the duvet and 2 pillowcases.

Massively discoloured and going yellow! Simply cannot use it now.

Contacted them but given some waffle :-

“ When our bedding is dyed this is done so in the most environmentally-friendly way – using only low impact, non-toxic dyes and oxygen based whitening products.

Certain harsh ingredients and chemicals in hair products, skin care products and stain removing products can bleach or cause discolouration of our coloured fabrics”.

Offered a 20% discount instead of a replacement! Certainly will not use this company again. Better quality from Dunhelm!

Rips after a couple of years - all style no substance

If you’d have asked me 3 years ago I would have sung the praises of this company, but sadly that is not the case now.

Needless to say it’s not cheap, I paid around £140 for the edged set in superking, plus a superking fitted sheet for £70. About a year or so after purchasing they finally introduced superking pillowcases for £30 each so I upgraded our standard pillowcases to the bigger ones.

After 2 years of use, two large rips appeared in the fitted sheet (I have cool & crisp). The rip isn’t even along the stitching but within the thread of the cotton itself, suggesting a weakness in the thread. Two of the cork buttons on the duvet cover have also snapped in half.

I contacted Dip & Doze to report the issue, expecting them to say that the cotton must have been faulty and offering me a replacement. Instead they spouted some waffle about the longevity being affected by how often the bedding is used and washed. Complete rubbish! I have a Tesco Home fitted sheet that was purchased around the same time and that is still going strong, so clearly price doesn’t always mean quality. They offered me a 20% discount to replace my sheet but why would I spend extra money on something that won’t last?

I also think it’s really unfair that the superking duvet sets still don’t come with superking pillowcases as standard (they make you pay extra for them). Why on Earth would you want a superking bedset without the right size pillows to match?!

I will stick to cheaper brands in future.

So soft

The softest sheets I've ever experienced. They've lasted me 3 or 4 years of daily use and weekly washing before a rip appeared and needed replacing. Fitted sheet went a few months before the duvet cover. I was going to try somewhere new, something a bit cheaper, but I didn't want to risk buying something scratchy by comparison.

The soft linen is the nicest

I bought some of the 'soft' items and they are nice - too warm for hot weather but smooth and comfortable. The 'crisp' items are made of strange, thin, scratchy fabric a bit like polycotton. They are impossible to iron and don't look nicely rumpled on the bed, just badly creased. The 'soft' items iron better but not as well as normal cotton. Bit of a mixed bag really. The pale pink is a very pleasant colour.

Very comfortable bedding

Bought my sheets a year ago and a year on they are still lovely. The bed linen gets softer every wash. Great quality and very comfortable.

Beautiful bed linen but sadly doesn’t…

Beautiful bed linen but sadly doesn’t last.

I’ve never been able to afford quality bed linen and for the first time, splashed out on what I thought was high quality organic and fair trade duvet cover, sheets and pillow cases for one king size bed, spending nearly £200. However 6 months of on and off use, the embroidered stars are coming off, and I had to sew up the button holes about 5 times as the fabric keeps tearing. I have never experienced this before and am very sad that it has turned out to be such a negative experience.
