Murrindindi Prestige Property: Unprofessional

Melissa Solomon presents as a down-to-earth and approachable person when you first meet her, which may give a false sense of security. However, based on my experience, her professionalism is severely lacking, and I would strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

Her treatment of tenants is unacceptable. It’s especially disheartening to see her advertise properties as “investment” opportunities given how she manages them. I experienced unprofessional conduct firsthand, including being yelled at on the phone. Melissa strongly prefers phone calls over written communication, which, in my opinion, is a tactic to avoid creating a paper trail — making it difficult to hold her accountable for breaches of tenancy laws.

She appears to lack transparency, accountability, and integrity in her role. When I was a tenant, she often blamed the landlord for unresolved maintenance issues, yet it became clear she had not actually communicated those concerns to the landlord.

Melissa started her own business after leaving Professionals in Marysville, where — to my knowledge — there were similar complaints from both tenants and landlords. Unfortunately, it seems these issues have followed her into her new venture.

It’s also worth noting that Melissa appears to be the sole person behind the business, yet her website is written in third person as if describing a larger team. This feels disingenuous and reinforces the overall lack of transparency I experienced dealing with her.
