Too expensive why would you spend £700 on electric conversion kit for your old bike when you can buy a brand-new bike for the same price For me I will not be using this company until the reduce their prices

I looked at lots of conversions
Chose Dillenger, as it looked good and complete
Straightforward to fit, apart from mounting the controller.I did not use the nice metal cover and mounted the controller in a bean can supported in the bottle holder.
Looks smart, bit heavier now, but handles well and irons out the hills
Had to tighten the spokes a few times
Very pleased

Had a clutch problem after 290 miles on my dillenger street legal kit.
After a few emails back and forth with iris at the support team, she wrote the best way forward is to send you a replacement motor which came within two days.
People must remember that they are based in Australia so emails are getting read the following day.

A very well thought out motorisation option for standard bikes. The kit was very well packaged and arrived quickly.

I did struggle a bit as my wife's bike has back pedal brakes, so the pedal assist option couldn't be fitted (Which is actually easier!).

Yesterday my wife rode twice as far as usual, with the motor in use for the steepest hills.

Excellent product easy to fit and arrived ahead of time. Exceeded my expectations for front wheel drive motor.I only wish it could go a bit faster than 25kph before stopping assistance. Brian.

Prompt delivery and well packaged kit fitted well for a universal kit
Had to remove peddle arm and file down to get clearance for crank sensor as my bike has a large down tube. Very pleased with kit works well changed power setting from default to 1-9 as it gives a smoother power band.did 49 miles on first charge but had not completely run out

Great service from Dillenger, very intuitive kit here. Assembly instructions are sketchy but installed and discovered it's perfect. With an injured knee I charged up hills and marvel the assist settings are perfect. Flat out on the bike trail, the speed is enough that I wish I had disc brakes, and shocks. My old mountain bike has never been more fun. If you've been looking for a kit to convert your bike, you've found it. Stop checking and reading, and move your cursor to "order now." On dirt trails it worked great too, and batteries are quality. (I'm a mechanic-instructor but conversion is easier than say, an oil change)

From the start the communications were regular and clear so I always knew what was happening. The delivery was well co-ordinated and our assembly was easy with the comprehensive instructions. The bike is well designed and manufactured to the highest quality. The performance is great. All round a good experience and well recommended.

I purchased the street legal kit last July, and used the bike quite a lot during the summer.
Installation was easy, following the instructions. I just had to glue the pedal assist sensor. Everything worked fine right away.
The autonomy is good, I don’t have to charge the battery very often. The pedal assist works very well, and I almost never use the thumb throttle.

Best thing since lockdown now able to cycle out 2x 20 miles a charge . twice a week I cycle as I am71 it's given me a new lease of life thanks for a great piece of kit love it to bits and its well built .Great

Returned an item and had some issues that took slightly longer to resolve, however....
I’m more than happy with how the matter has been dealt with.
I really love the products dillenger offer and I think they are amazing quality. I’m glad we have managed to resolve everything.

Great product, we have purchased two of these now, one for me and one for my wife who has recently had knee reconstructions.
Very easy to install, excellent mileage from a battery.
I rode 85 km on one ride on a fully charged battery, i had the settings up at the high level most of the time and sitting on 28-35 km/hr (it was also quite a workout at the same time)
I can't speak highly enough of this E bike kit and would recommend to anyone wanting to convert their current bike for riding sealed roads, dirt roads and rail trails.

Very pleased, it's got plenty of power and was easy to assemble on the bike.

Every thing works well. I have 2 of these and am happy with them.

First I just can't give Iris enough praise about what a great customer service person she is. She answered all my questions about the kit fitting my bike and helped me feel at ease with my most expensive online purchase. The shipping took 9 days from the time I paid for the kit. The kit arrived in good condition and was well packed. All the extra parts were in the box that I ordered.
I would suggest not buying Dillenger's single speed freewheel, no tool cutouts for removal. I will have to buy $60. to $125. tool to remove freewheel or destroy it
As for the kit, I'm have found a new passion in life. I've had rode motorcycle for 49 years, ridden bicycle (road and mountain), and snow skied until a few years ago. I had to stop all of these activities because of arthritis in my hips and knees. After both my hips have been replaced, it's wonderful to be able to ride again. The Dillenger off road kit has made my riding experience so enjoyable. Currently I am riding 10 miles plus a day for Childhood Cancer USA. As for the kit I am so pleased with its performance, it has got 400 miles @ 50 miles on a charge cycle as of 9/2020. NO problems! The only foreseeable thing I see, will be replacing the light duty chain because of the increased torque. Great product, great service, easy to install, would recommend and will repurchase.

Lousy instructions for the digital readout. Good system

Recently purchased an electric bike kit to attach to a three wheeler bicycle.
Fitting front hub was pretty straight forward with some grinding and bending to attach. positioning the battery presented a problem as we had to manufacture
a steel box section to mount the battery on which finished horizontally about a foot above the pedals between the legs where normally engine would be on motorbike. A cracker of a unit plenty of torque and has topped 32 kph!
Would recommend this unit to anyone who wishes to upgrade to electric assist.
