The support phone number costs 7p a minute which is unacceptable considering they caused the problem I want to talk about.

Monetizing bad business is reprehensible.

It's almost as if they want to make profit from CS calls instead of delivering parcels.

I had a package sent from UK to France, the value of the goods was £5 (6 euro). DHL charged £30 for delivery but I needed a car part. They then wanted VAT not only on the part but on their delivery charge, plus a minimum 17 euro charge which they said on the phone is for Blagnac Airport Tax?! They were unhelpful and when questioned their charge as unreasonable they blocked the delivery. I will only use again if I am desperate as this is not the first time unfortunately!

I paid extra to have something delivered urgently and the delivery took as much time as a regular delivery. Money out the window. Not worth it! Trash service.

More than 14 days delivery time for an "express" service is very confusing.

The courier passed to my home before the time scheduled for the pick up. I wasn't there and he didn't call at the phone number provided (my) to notify, but contacted the costumer service instead, saying that I cancelled the pick up ( was not true of course). This resulted in a troubled communication, misunderstandings and late pick up.

avoid at any cost. Slow and expensive. My package has now been underways 4 weeks from Norway to Germany and now it is stuck in customs there with missing documentation it appears (that was glued onto the package). No feedback at all from DHL about any problems. I could have walked faster

They claimed our urgent letter could not be delivered because no one home to sign. That was a lie since we had a security camera on front door area with 24/7 day ,/night ability. Watched full footage and no DHL person or no one came to door area within the time frame they claimed. Customer service was uselessness

Pathetic. Spent over $220 AUD for delivery the dates changed by 3 days and then spent idle in Melbourne for 4 days. So I check the eta of products and stated delivered and I’m freaking out as I have not received the parcel. Call these clowns to them they claim it’s delivered to a third party so it’s delivered and I said that’s bs as it technically should state transferee or redirected parcel to third party. I said that crap now I have to wait a extra 4 days I asked for a compensation and she almost laughed at me they don’t give a f@@k. SKIP THIS DISHONEST COMPANY THAT WANT YOUR MONEY AND DONT GIVE A TOOT ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AND PARCEL

Absolutely terrible. Say they will deliver and one has to be home to sign. I take the day off work and stay home. Suddenly I get a text that the parcel couldn’t be delivered. No courier even came. I call and ask for help but nothing can be done, they don’t even know what happened or where the courier is. Terrible service for the expensive price. Avoid when possible.

I had a package that was scheduled for delivery 2-17-2023. Got a text message that said the driver was 1 stop away. Got a second text message that the driver was on his way. Only to get another text message that the driver attempted delivery but no one was home. I was home all evening and there was not a single delivery attempt made at all. Called customer service and was told that the driver attempted delivery and that they would try again on Monday. Mind you, I signed the signature release the day before my package was originally scheduled to be delivered. Terrible customer service and drivers that are complete liars and too lazy to do all their deliveries that were scheduled.

The delivery was for a confidential envelope that needed my signature. They have delivered it to a letter box of another person that had my same last name in the building! They also updated the delivery status to "Delivered and signed" and wrote my name in the signature, while I have never signed!!

When I called their customer service they were not of any help, they told me to wait until they would call me back after I called them 4 times and no one accpeted to speak to me in English. They never returned the call then 3 days later they sent me an email to say that the shipment was delivered and nothing for them to do.

The package contained my passport! This means it is a total identity theft potential to give it to the wrong person!

This is totally unprofessional and I would never trust DHL express to deliver any parcel for me again. And, I will make sure to try and sue them for it!

I have a small parcel coming from the Far East. It took two days from Hong Kong via Canada and the US to Donington, UK. It took two days from Donington to Manchester, it's there now. And now they’re saying three days for the last 60 miles from Manchester to me. It's pathetic. How on earth is this ‘Express’?

Since writing the above, thanks perhaps to some pressure from me and the seller, delivery is now scheduled for sometime today (no time window of course). So on that basis I'm changing one star to four, as in the end the service was very good.

really bad service here in Belgium. I have been waiting for my parcel since a week and I am told to call the DHL Express service then to call the DHL Parcel service and so backwards and forwards till nobody takes any responsibility for the delivery which is urgent. I would urger everyone to boycot this company completely.

I shipped urgent documents to the USA, and they were released from customs months later - completely useless. This created huge problems for me, and DHL refused to even return the cost of shipping to me because the problem was with US customs, for which they accept no responsibility. This means that your package being delivered on time depends on customs, not DHL. DHL therefore can give no guarantee that your package will actually be delivered on time.

Shipped a package 2 weeks ago to Taiwan and it’s still hanging in the customs while the local agent leisurely does her job when she wants and in no urgency to handle the supposed ‘express’ shipment. Horrible efficiency at Taiwanese customs.

If I could give it a zero I would. My experience with DHL Express was just traumatizing, even effecting my sleep and having nightmares! I had a priority important package sent to me via DHL Express that gave the false promise of shipping next day, costing 6 times more than normal shipping, and yet after a week I have not received my package yet. I had to cancel plane tickets as a result and have to buy more expensive tickets which is gonna cost me at least €300 more! Even now as I'm writing this, it's the middle of night, I've woken up frustratedly checking their tracking website every 5 minutes! Their support is also a joke, even if you get to talk to a "human" (and not chatbots or emails that no-one reads), they'd just give you more empty words. I will never again EVER use this rubbish unreliable service, even local small post offices are more professional and reliable than this multi-billion-dollar international shipping scam.

Absolutely awful service from DHL and DHL Express - DHL Express have been meant to contact the receipt for over 2 weeks and still nothing, plus they are not responding to any of our emails.
This is on a shipment that was meant to be delivered about a month ago...
