I ordered from a store called mensdesignejacket who are a joke! I contacted the company and asked if I could return a item I bought and they offered me a partial refund. I didn't want the item or a partial refund so I contacted DHgate who sided with the seller and cancelled my case. Just be very careful when ordering from these sellers. Most items I purchased from DHgate are fine but when I wanted to return this monstrosity I couldn't do that. Very disappointing.

Its impossible to get a return or refund. when you dispute it, customer service write back in chinese which I don't understand and then ask for so much extra evidence. the return platform will not submit the photos. Ive asked for customer service to contact me several times and no one comes back to you.

Awful, Scammed by a seller with only receive half an order the got no reply and no refund

Consumers deserve transparency and accountability—not scripted apologies or scam sellers hiding behind a broken platform. If you’ve been defrauded, document everything and speak up. Silence only protects the scam.

Crap company. Everything you buy is crap. And when you tell them they just say it will cost you so much to send back if it ever gets here so basically it ain't worth it.
Save your money and buy it local.

I use the app so I don't know if the app and website differ, as it seems most of the reviews here are left for the website. Anyways, it does take a long time to get your items, anywhere from 2 weeks to a month, but usually within 2 to 3 weeks. They also have a few sellers that deliver from within the US and shipping is less than a week for those items. I have received everything I ordered and I am happy with all my purchases. This is the premiere place to shop for knockoff items. The more you spend the better quality you get. If you look for keywords like "mirror quality" or "top" it is saying it is a 1 to 1 copy of the original and that will usually run significantly more. But I bought my gf a mirror quality LV bag for 300 and she cannot tell the difference between the actual item and and copy. If you buy a 40 or 50 dollar bag it will pass from a distance but not a close inspection. Excellent place to get high quality goods at a fraction of the price

Avoid unless you want to be scammed. I tried two transactions, each of around £100. The first contacted me 2 weeks after my order to say that what I ordered was out of stock and I was refunded a week later. My second order was very different. The seller sent me a very cheap and tacky hair band on the tracking details of my order. So as far as DHgate were concerned, I had received my order. Luckily I had video and photographic evidence to show but after reporting the seller and getting my refund, I note the seller is still there on the site. DHgate obviuosely doesn't care that their site is full of scammers... I have learned my lesson and will avoid in future.

There are some fantastic sellers on here, and you can certainly grab some bargains. Unfortunately there are also some not so good sellers, and DH Gate won’t step in if you are sold counterfeit goods. There is a dispute option, but you need to wait a month to use this. When you do submit a dispute they almost always side with the seller, even if concrete evidence is provided. If you’re lucky they may give you a voucher for an amount far short of what you paid.

If you check the seller reviews and stats thoroughly, 9/10 there won’t be an issue. There are seller reviews with pics so I only use those sellers. They offer Klarna and take credit cards so best to order with them to make sure your money is protected.

Customer Service does not exist on this platform prepare to be called ‘Dear’ by an AI Chatbot whilst trying to resolve being sold cheap, counterfeit products. Don’t be fooled by the cheap prices and free shipping! Shop elsewhere as their ‘Buyer Protection’ scheme is an absolute scam. Paid £28 for a pair of headphones you could get for a few pounds in Poundland.

This online page is a scam. I was promised a refund over a month ago because I never got my orders. So far I have seen no money. Support service and seller do not answer anymore.
The suggested online problem support does not work, surprise, surprise.
Don‘t buy at dhgate, you don‘ t get your money back, it is a scam.

Goods not fit for purpose and DHGate thought a $1.69 refund on a $33 order to be sufficient. Do not trust.

Very disappointed with DHgate’s handling of my recent order I received an item that is not as described, yet DHgate closed my case and only refunded me $1.07/£0.81, claiming that’s the “minimum refund amount.” This is not true under Buyer Protection, which clearly covers items that are not as described.

If this is not resolved properly with a full refund, I will be escalating the matter to my bank (chargeback) and UK consumer authorities. I expect DHgate to step in and enforce their own Buyer Protection policy.

Worst company ever. They refuse to give a refund for a shirt that we think is poor quality. They keep asking for evidence even though I’ve submitted photos and explained why the product is not to our liking. A total scam. Do not buy from DH Gate!!!!

Purchased an expensive case (£19), took 3 weeks to get here and then found it was very flimsy, edges were bent.

Made a complaint and the seller and DH Hate found nothing wrong so did not get a refund! Offered me a £10 coupon to use in DH Gate!

Avoid at all costs. DHgate is nothing short of a scam. I paid for an item that never arrived, and now the store has vanished without a trace. No refund, no support, no accountability. Their so-called "customer service" is non-existent — nothing but dead ends and excuses.

The platform enables sellers to take your money and disappear, and DHgate washes its hands of any responsibility. It feels like outright theft.

If you value your money, do yourself a favour and stay far away from DHgate. Total waste of time and money.

ABVOID buying from this seller had to chase up and order as never came on date stated no tracking information when spoke with them sent a picture of the coat which was not the colour or style I ordered tried to explain to them and even showed them what I had ordered but still wouldn’t listen then said I have sent what you ordered when coat arrived was totally wrong colour and different style asked them to do a return for refund to be told they are not giving me a refund

I was conned many times from dhgate one of the sellers is luxurywatch_rix88888 who stole my money didnt send the item couldn't provide proof then lied to dhgate but dhgate was on there side because they make money dhgate went against there own terms and conditions money back guarantee refund to refund me so ive had to report this to the Lloyds banking group fraud investigation team the are backing me 100% im a victim of crime by dhgate avoid the dhgate site don't be a victim of crime especially luxurywatch_rix88888 they stor my money (BE WARNED)updated 21/9/25

This company is just a cover for independent people who sell through them I ordered through DHgate with a seller called Leon2018 who sent the goods took 3 weeks and the sizes were so inconsistent they were useless. However trying to return for refund has been impossible no response no returns no contact keep away from this company they are scamming people EDIT Since writing this review I have received full refund from DHgate but the seller has still not communicated maybe just certain sellers but I won't use them again
