My grandson joined the Army 2 weeks ago and left me his car that needed a lot of work. Everyone I spoke with at Detroit Axle was extremely helpful. Leo Pattinson in warranty assisted me in getting the needed parts that were covered under warranty. Hunter in sales made my purchase of new parts, flawless. I purchased a steering box for a 93…
I purchased a steering box for a 93 Dobge first gen. Cummins. The one that was sent to me had a .80 inch input shaft. Mine, (original owner for 33 years and all stock) had a .720" shaft. I got a lot of run around from DETROIT DIESEL. Plus,, it had a broken bolt shank in one of the mounting holes. I got it out with some effort, mounted the steering box just to find out the input shaft was too big. DONT BUY FROM THEM. THEY SUCK.
