Just bought a vintage Bentwood chair from Design Vintage. It arrived today and, I have to say, was extremely well packed for its journey to York. Lovely piece of furniture - great condition and fabulous colour. Very happy indeed with the service provided by the Company (not my first purchase) and the chair looks great in my bedroom.
Delivery was prompt but the item delivered was nothing like the photographs on their website. Described as a vintage antique iron tray, and what arrived was bright silver galvanised. I have tried to post a review on their website 3 times stating such, but it surprisingly hasn’t appeared.
Online purchase. Prompt replies to email query. Good photos supplied to consider choice of bench and fast delivery. Couldn't ask for better experience
I was sad when DV moved from West Stoke as always loved the store. I had bought a friend some vintage wine glasses from there and his whole famile loved them, so i bought several more for their daughter's wedding gift.
Ordering was easy and when they arrived today (via DPD the BEST carrier) I was impressed at how carefully they had been packed.

Zero customer service. Or shall I say, non existent. Overpriced and nothing special, in fact the quality of the merchandise was poor to average. The shop was cold - clearly they wanted to either save money on heating, or couldn’t be bothered to areive early to turn on the heating for customers.
Just had delivery of first Design Vintage item. It's a coat rack. It is distinctly average quality and comes with no fixings, which is really unhelpful. Packaging was poorly done.
