Do not honour their online sales orders, terrible communications

Awful experience with Desborough Pets They did not honour their online sales order. Ordered puppy food making sure I ordered enough (in fact almost double the required amount) to ensure free delivery. The following day the order was cancelled and refunded with no explanation. Which has meant I had to go out to buy more food for my puppy because I would now not have enough until I could get it sent from another supplier. I rang one of the branches and the woman I spoke with thought it may be because they didn't have enough in stock, having only 14 loose trays in that particular branch instead of 7 packs of 7. She did say she could order more to come in a few days later and said a gentleman would call me back or she would check with him to see if they could ship the first 14 whilst waiting for the rest. No one called me back and no further explanation was received yet the food was still available to order online and still is. I then received another email a few days later saying the order was cancelled?????? Why another email again no explanation. So I rang again and was assured I would be called today ......nothing. This time it seemed the reason was they don't do local delivery despite there being national delivery available on their website. I will be ordering from elsewhere as Desborough Pets clearly have no regard for online customers I will also be contacting the manufacturer of the food to let them know as well. Awful experience
