This company has horrible customer service.

This company has horrible customer service. I purchased an upper partial that the tooth was too long and they tried to charge me again for a new partial after they had screwed up the original order and wouldn't correct it unless I paid again. Ridiculous. Please go elsewhere to avoid these headaches. They don't care if the order is correct or not. You think they would learn from these reviews but sadly that is not the case. There are other more reputable companies that offer superior service compared to these amateurs.

Thanks for the inaccurate reply. The reason I disputed is because you tried to charge me again for the same product. You didn't do anything as far as shortening the defective product you sent me. Yes, I got a free piece of crap that I paid for that you never replaced, that I threw away so I don't look like some idiot hillbilly which is what I'm dealing with. Then the second device that I PAID FOR was still incorrect. You have a selective memory. You need to get the order right before you try to accuse the customer. You guys suck! Period.

I am sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with us.

Unfortunately this is not an accurate review. You purchase an upper partial. We delivered the upper partial. You even sent us a video review after getting the partial. On the 18th of December (after the video review) you reviewed us using our internal review portal and said "Awesome product, Awesome service".

You liked our service so much you asked for a discount to order a lower. We provided a $100 discount since you were a repeat customer. We also offered to shorten the tooth of the upper for free (it was a tad long) if you send it back so we could send it with your new lower. You agreed. On December 24th you gave us another positive review.

On the 10th of January you asked for a refund on the second order for the lower (due to financial hardship). We informed you we had already designed the denture and sent a try-in to you that was in the mail. We would be happy to refund the order minus these services rendered.

You never responded and then opened a dispute with your payment company. Disputes limit our ability to do much of anything as we need to communicate with the payment company to resolve the dispute. Let alone the dispute was incorrect. You did not select financial hardship for the dispute reason but instead selected product unacceptable. A fact never brought up in our emails, reviews or any communication. In fact, you disputed both the product we were still making for you as well as the original order as well.

We worked with the payment company and you even received the money back for both orders (we lost $100s of dollars on this order) because we didn't use signed delivery. The dispute did not find we had delivered a product that wasn't acceptable, in fact the opposite, but because it was because we did not use signed delivery of a high end item (a fact we have changed since then) we lost the dispute.

Despite disputing the order and therefore paying 0 dollars and receiving a free partial, you asked us to adjust the partial. We can not continue to work on orders disputed or refunded.

We would have been happy to have worked with you to solve any issue you may have had or refund any non-rendered services if you needed. But instead, you did not communicate with us, disputed the order for a reason other then then one you communicated with us, never allowed us to adjust the piece, etc. Now, despite costing us $100s, paying $0 and receiving a free partial, you put a 1 star review that we have multiple emails, reviews that counter.

I have screenshots of all of the communications, disputes, payments, reviews, etc.

I am editing this reply to correct the response from the customer. I can not reveal actual order information but can provide the needed detail to correct the record.

The statement "The reason I disputed is because you tried to charge me again for the same product." Is later proved incorrect in his own response "Then the second device that I PAID FOR was still incorrect." The first order (XX275) was for a partial upper. The second order (XX196) was for a partial lower. There was no other charges from our company and no extra charge for the adjustment of the tooth of the upper. On the 17th of December we said "We noticed that we could shorten the front tooth slightly to help it better line up. Would you like to send the piece in to have us do that?". You responded "Yes. I can send it back for those adjustments."

The second piece had not been finalized yet as you had been sent a try-in. Any and all adjustments you wanted would have been made.

I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy our services. If I could refund your order back to you since you are unhappy with us, I would. But since the money has already been returned, I can not help in any way. I hope you get the partials you want and have a nice day. Sorry again if you are upset at our service.

Dentkits

First after researching I realized Dentkits was in fact a real company … so I applied at affirm for the payments & then ordered TOP DENTURE ONLY ….. the FAQ stated with in 14 days you should have your denture …. Took almost a whole week before I got the molding trays … which I expected it wouldn’t be over night shipping or have them the second I ordered … once I submitted the pictures of my molds it took I believe 10 days before they replied back to send them back in … took a month or so to get my try-in which was all white …. I marked that needed changed submitted pictures … took almost 2 - 3 weeks to get them to reply back & talk to me what was needing to be changed …. Told them not much because the try-ins fit almost perfectly …. I stated if you make my denture like my try-in with the changes I needed make the denture …. A month or so later what showed up was not what I expected … it didn’t match the try-ins, NONE of the adjustments were made …. Before I continue, phone number goes to a voice mail box that is usually full, because Dentkits doesn’t answer the phone … emails usually take a week to 2 weeks to get a replay back which is usually next to nothing but a few words … back to the denture at hand here … what showed up was bigger then the try-ins …. No adjustments where made …. So I pulled out my dremel & cut the back of the denture off because it went back so far I couldn’t even put the denture in with out gagging … once in I looked like Mr Ed big clunky teef way to wide teef angled at a 45 degree so it looks like I have a huge over bite like I belong on the cast of the simpsons … when I sent Dentkits a msg about what the issue was, I was told to soak them in warm to hot water so the soften up & you can form them to fit …. Since it took almost 4 month to get the final denture I believe or so I was told the bone structure shrunk that’s why they weren’t fitting properly …. But the try-ins still fit 95% after I made adjustments with my dremel …. Yes I used a reline kit, they are so big & sloppy that did nothing to help … the warm water did nothing to help either … so I went back to the dremel & cut the top part out so now it’s a U shape & then I was able to bend them some to fit … then I have to get fixadent to hold them in … I have to put so much of it on the dentures to hold them in place, it hurts like hell trying to get them out & get all that stuff off my gums & the denture because I still look like a Simpson cast member …. So I am stuck either look like the simpsons or wear the all white try-ins, because there is nothing Dentkits will do other then tell me to use warm to hot water …. Since i cut the top off so I can bend it so it wasn’t so wide, I am sure they won’t help with that either …. So now I am stuck paying affirm the money for a denture that was made for a horse … they’re so bad I sound like Mike Tyson when I talk …. It’s a shame you spend all this money on something you can’t even use … I tried to talk to affirm about it & they said you agreed for them to make it & that's what they did …. So all in all it took right around 4 months start to finish, multiple phones calls & endless emails only to be stuck with something I can’t wear …. Just becareful everyone …. Don’t get taken advantage of like I did ….

I’ve reached out & explained why I left this review & sent pictures explaining the review …. NO REPLY BACK !!!!!!
I’ve reached out 2 times, ASKING HOW WE CAN MAKE THIS RIGHT, again no reply …. I guess it’s time to see what other steps I can take, to try & get this fixed …. Stay tuned …

I am sorry to hear that you did not get a piece that you enjoy. I was able to locate your order based upon the timing and feedback.

We always support our customers 100%. If your final was not the same as your approved try-in or you needed an adjustment, we would absolutely adjust it for you. We do this with all orders.

In your case, we asked to get the piece sent in and a quick picture taken to let us know what should be adjusted. It was only after this was refused that we suggested the hot water. This is an ineffective technique for fulls but if it will not be sent in for adjustment, we can't fix something we don't have.

This is from a message sent to us: "I don’t wanna have to go through this whole taken pictures sending them & try to explain what’s wrong" We would have happily adjusted your piece as we explained in the message.

I would also note that while I can not post pictures of the design adjustments for privacy concerns, we did adjust the design. If you believe the original design was sent by mistake, we can absolutely compare via a picture and then get the correct design sent to you. If you are unwilling to send a picture so we can make sure the correct design was sent, then we can't assess what the issue is.

We delivered your final to you two weeks after the adjustments were suggested on your try-in. We would like to be faster, but our lab was backed up. We apologize for that delay.

We want to make every customer happy and if you contact our customer service we would still support your order. But if you are unwilling to let us adjust the piece, there is not much we can do.

Dent kits was great for My father

Dent kits was great for My father. He suffered a stroke 20 years ago and has been housebound with severe social anxiety issues for years. When he broke his dropped and broke his dentures, I tried to coax him to the dentist, which was impossible. When I saw Dent kits online I new this was the perfect scenario for him. Without having to put him through that anxiety of a office vist or ever leaving the house we were able to get him a great pair of dentures at a good price. Thank you Kevin and the whole team !

Not sure what to think

I'm neutral but leaning on the don't buy side. I have emailed them 3 times with no response. I have also called 5 times with no response back and nobody answered. I'm glad I didn't just order the product.

Do not use DentKits - I have ordered many partials online and this has been the worse

I used DentKits and it is now 2 months and still no product, the try on was a plastic 3D printed tooth that is way too big and not correctly aligned with any of my teeth. I regret purchasing this kit and went through another online retailer ordered at the same time and received an amazing finished one tooth partial in 3 weeks for cheaper and dent kits is still scrambling. There is a reason they do not have a large amount of real reviews, or a customer service contact number. I would not recommend them and would encourage you to look elsewhere as I have found better partial one tooth dentures on etsy and other online dentists! I recommend just charging back to your credit card.

Our products are provider prescribed. This means they are reviewed by an in-state licensed dentist. Most other "quick" online options are not and this includes marketplaces like Etsy. Being provider prescribed allows us to offer full dentures as well as smaller pieces. In order to provide a clinical alternative, we need to follow the clinical model. This means providing a try-in before making the final piece. Although this extends our process, it is a requirement for a provider involved process.

Worst experience ever. It’s almost the end of April and I have been trying to get my partial from them since Feb. !! first didn’t fit at all ! they said they would remake it. got it today. Wrong !! was the wrong color for the entire piece , it was also broken and another set of impression material was in my package with no explanation why. so again since Feb. i have no partial.They don’t answer the phone and take weeks to email you back. horrible horrible experience and I feel so stressed out over this because I need my missing teeth to be replaced. makes me feel like they just throw it together and don’t take the time for the customer. Update: they made good on my product. miscommunication was settled and i got my partial plate. thank you. it’s slow and they are a small company. that are working on improving

Good deal

Slightly longer process than I would have hoped for but when I messed up the molds they threw in the bottom set for free to speed up the process. The teeth themselves fit ok when I got them. I could have sent in to have them adjusted but I just bought a reline kit and did it at home. Good customer service, good price, overall satisfied.

I stumbled upon Dentkits on my Facebook…

I stumbled upon Dentkits on my Facebook feed and I was actually in the market for dentures. It's crazy how Facebook seems to know what you're thinking. Anyway, I checked out their website and decided to give their impression kit a try. I placed my order and received my dentures quickly. They were packaged nicely and the fit was perfect. I'm so glad that Dentkits popped up in my news feed, because I may have gone a different route otherwise.
