The merchant refuses to refund

I ordered 2 tyres on 23 Feb. I cancelled on 26 Feb due to long delivery time. The merchant confirmed cancellation the same day and issued a document promising a refund of £172.38 by 27 Feb.
However, no refund was received. The merchant admitted they shipped the tyres by mistake after cancellation to their partner shop. I never received or signed for the items. The merchant now refuses to refund until I arrange the return for them, which is unreasonable as the contract was terminated.

Avoid Mytyres (Delticom) if you actually want to receive your tyres

Have previously used Mytyres (a few years ago) and had good service but recent order has been terrible and based on other reviews I am not alone Seems like they have gone completely down the tubes. Here's an abridged version of the ongoing saga.

Ordered on 24th January with expected delivery time of in stock tyre being 4 to 5 days. Confirmation email immediately changed this to 6th February. Tracking information was non existent and kept saying expected by 6th February but no further details. Tried contacting them via "contact us" on 2nd February but no response. 6th February came and went with the same expected delivery date on tracking. Tried "contact us" again on 8th February. Also tried calling them only to be intercepted by their "AI" chatbot which kept pretending to type when "looking into it" and then would ask is there anything else I can help with. Impossible to speak to real person and went around the chatbot script several times before giving up.

Sent a cancellation email to their designated email address on 10th February. Still no response to anything

Submitted a credit card dispute on the 12th February having still not received the tyre or a response to any contact attempts.

Within 2 hours had an email from Mytyres (in response to my "contact us" to them on the 2nd February saying that original tyre had been held up in shipping and another one was now being shipped under a new order number at zero cost - and credit card dispute had been closed. Responded by email to say I had already issue a cancellation request since I had to source a tyre elsewhere. 3 days later received an acknowledgement of cancellation (of the replacement tyre and telling me they would refund me £0.00 - no mention of original charge)
I am therefore still in dispute since they seem to want to charge me for a tyre they never delivered and giving me £0.00 credit for one that they also didn't deliver.

Basically impossible to get in touch with them (other than a useless AI chatbot) and they only seemed to respond when I disputed via the credit card company.

Honestly go to Blackcircles or Asda tyres this company is no longer a viable option and I for one will never use them again.

Some bad experience

They go under many names. I ordered at autobandenmarkt.be
I ordered tires, something went wrong with the shipment and they didn’t inform me. After speaking to an AI agent on the phone I managed to speak a real person. They were not willing to solve the issue within a realistic timeline, just giving me a refund. Thanks to them I have to pay rush fees at the garage and additional premium costs for tires that are off the shelf available. Probably you’ll be satisfied with this dealer if all goes well, but if things go wrong, don’t expect them to go the extra mile or even inform you that your tires are not being delivered.
Looks like I’m not the only one with bad experience, this shows that doing proper due diligence before purchasing is key.

Terrible !

Terrible !
I seriously believe it to be a scam company - waited forever for my tire set to arrive - just to find out they sent me two sets and billed for both. A return would cost me 130€.
Dont buy your tires there!!!

Incorrect Description No customer service

I ordered 6 new tires for a Ford F650 from priority tire, I did not know they were coming from a company in CA. The shipped from location was in Jacksonville FL. I would not purchase 6 tires from so far away as CA. They arrived late but they did arrive. My neighbor another business accepted them, i was out of town due to the delay, When I got back in town I looked at the tires all 6 were recaps and date codes were over 5 years old. The add did not say recaps they were described as new precured tires. I wasted allot of time tiring to reach a human to help me with no luck. After 10 days of no response I filed a claim and was told because I ordered them through pay pall I would have to go through them. So I contacted pay pal and was told It was to late the grace period for returns had expired. This was months ago, later on I got a call from a man in CA saying he would refund me $241 from the original $1300. DELTICOM NORTH AMERICA received for the tires. The tires are still sitting here. Being recaps I cannot legally or morally sell them to a customer. I lost a large account over the delay and the inability to complete the service. After the couple of times tiring to reach the tire distributer the Description in the add changed to recaps. Do not purchase tires from anyone connected to this company, I say this because they sell tires through other company's Again when I originally made the purchase I thought I was buying from priority tire . When in fact it was DELTICOM.

This is the second time I ordered from…

This is the second time I ordered from a website belonging to this company. And the last one. After waiting for a tire for one week they still can’t say when it’s going to delivered.

Promising a few days on their website doesn’t exactly help when (A) the order takes a couple of days more before it’s sendt, and (B) it in addition will take between three and five days at least at the local post office.

I’ll be glad to pay the few extra bucks to get the tire within a couple of days instead of waiting two to three weeks and have to park the bike in the meantime.

My advice would be to never order from these people at all. The alternative really can’t be worse when it comes to deliverance and customer service. In addition I can see from the answers on the other complaints here that they are trying to excuse themselves. But there’s not one single hint to them actually improving.

Stay clear and use someone else. For your own pleasure. Their repeated “sorry” comments here on Trustpilot is a bad way of saying that they probably never will improve.

Edited after having talked to customer support online:

Despite having promised a 3-5 day delivery, they have soooooo much to do these days so the tire still isn’t sendt. Adding the delivery days from whatever country it’s in to my country, and home delivery it’s expected that the delivery actually takes two to three weeks.

Before they post their automatic “we are sorry” text here. How exactly is that going to help us when we are depending on the tire and can’t ride until it’s delivered? It might be naive to believe your “3-5 days”, but it’s *your* promise. It ours.

Trustpilot really needs to ad negative ratings for scammers like MCDackonline and Delticom AG

Warning

Warning! Never- ever do business with Delticom! They are treating the customers like trash. Ordered a motorcycle tire that, after two and a half weeks still didn't got delivered.

Tried to contact customer "service" via mail, and two days later I received an answer that said that they are forwarding the request. After that I never heard anything.

Now, almost four weeks later, I still haven't received a tire, and I'm leaving for my vacation tomorrow. Now, having to stop somewhere on the way to replace the tire. If! that specific tire is to be found at all.

Yes they are scammers sadly

Yes them are scammers sadly. Placed a £500 order for alloys, three weeks on and nothing. Called them, emailed all their apparent addresses and their complaints email - real poor response, kept telling me they’ll check with warehouse, then that the order will be with me soon - nothing. Thankfully paid online through PayPal so will get money back - please avoid. Order ref RD 54893473

Mytyres.

Mytyres.
I had dealings with this company back in Jan 2025. It took 3 months to resolve an issue with them due to incompetence. The matter was finally closed April 2025 and they sent me an e mail to confirm this.
Today I received an email from Debt collectors demanding payment and threatening me with court action for a matter that was closed 3 weeks ago ....How incompetent can a company be??

They finally refund the price of the sent back tyres after a month

I ordered 4 tyres, all of them arrived after 3 days, I paid the price to the delivery company, but then I realized I ordered the wrong size so I sent the tyres back and they promised they will refund the whole price but after 1 month there is no money, only promises in email.
I have to tell the case to the police, I hope they can do something with a romanian company.
Update: after 1 month I finally got my full refund, it only cost me a tousand email.

Avoid this company at all costs!

Terrible experience – delayed shipping, incomplete delivery, and absolutely no response to multiple emails. I had to call and wait for hours just to get half a solution, and the issue still isn’t resolved. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. I strongly advise against ordering from them—I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, ever.

They should have sent me four tires

They should have sent me four tires; I received only two. I contacted support; the manager wrote back after a week and said they would send the other two. Okay, we know why we chose them—they were the cheapest online!!! In the end, I waited for my tires for a month. I made my order through däckonline.se. Not a very bad experience overall, but a long wait.

I placed an order 17 days ago and the tyres still haven't been shipped. You can't book fitting on their website unless you select 4 tyres and their contact form doesn't work (no doubt deliberately). When I did get through to live chat they were rude and refused to answer me.

Avoid mytyres.co.uk and tyres-outlet.co.uk . Go with a rival company, even if it costs a few pounds more.

Never again!!!

Credit card payment screens do not work (security risk, incorrectly configured), you cannot submit a message on their website, it takes ages for them to respond to a mail (the address of which is difficult to find) and then they reply from a no-reply address with incomprehensible instructions. In the end I have 23 (!!!) emails and waited more than 3 weeks for my tyre.

Placed order, then due long delivery times cancelled, got confirmation email and then sorry we couldn’t stop delivery 2 days after cancellation confirmation and no responses to emails, constant lies in chats and since last year no refund been received. Someone should close this lying money laundering scam!!!

Scam

Scam. Order didn't arrive, 29 days and counting. No refund offered. Calls to them put me in a queue of 132 likely also scammed victims. Their reply form on website doesn't work. No other possibility to contact them.

2 months have passed and we still haven't received our tyres. You keep offering to refund us - Why? Are you not able to fulfill the order? If you can't why did you take the order in the first instance?
