I bought a set here but it is too big. I wanted to exchange it for a smaller size but unfortunately that is sold out so I want my money back. I'm not getting that!!
I don't want any hassle so I picked something else to exchange and now they were supposed to send me a return label and ship the new set. It's almost a month later and I don't have a return label.
Beware these are real scammers!! They string you along and after a month your return period has expired. I kept emailing them but I'm not getting a label.
And what if I might get a label because of this review? Who says I'll get my new set?
Bought pants zipper for my girlfriend, she loved it. Shipping can take a little as they ship from Asia. But really nice pants, she’s super happy with them. Defi_design has great customer service and unique clothing
Order took soooo long to ship and once I received my items, the sizing was horrible. I’m a pretty standard size and never have trouble when following size guides. The top I received was a M/L and the cups on the corset were literally like a A cup. The straps are sewn so close together that they’re basically under your armpits and fall off your shoulders. The bottoms I received were a M but were falling off of me. I sized up based on their size guide and knew it might be a bit big but I can’t even keep them on. Not sure how I’m way too big for a M/L top but way too small for a M skort. Just not thought through designs or sizing and very very slow shipping. You also have to pay to exchange your items
I was very curious about the brand and only found review talking about return policies so I bought 3 items. If the clothing is good no need to return it right ??
It's not good.
First, everything is made in China and the quality is sooooo bad. They are straight up lying about their clothes. The Ollie pants is said to be 100% cotton and it's the most stretchiest fabric I've ever seen. The buckles, zipper,... feels like plastic. The stitching is pretty basic and not very well made.
BUT...
... they delivered and it was (almost) what I ordered.
If you care a little bit about clothes, I still recommend to not buy from them. They aren't very clear about anything, how it's made (If I knew it was made in China I wouldn't have ordered), they are cutting corners everywhere and they advertise themselves as something that they are not.
Do not purchase from here. On top of the fact that items were faulty (pants were missing holes to put your buckle into) when you email them for a return label for a free return , the respondent Angelie (I’m assuming it’s their own business) replies and says that their logistics team is working on it more than a week goes by of following up with no label and being told it’s being processed . Only after seeeing thr other reviews here and sending her the screen shots did she magically send me a label. I sent the clothes back and once recieved they said 10-14 business days for a refund. A bit over 1 month and a half I had to follow up AGAIN to get my refund processed.
Faulty items that I found exact replicas of on SheIn for 1/8 of the price and you won’t get scammed back and forth for months for a simple return. It’s September and after 3 months of emails I finally recieved a refund.
Bought an item, it was faulty in more ways than one when I took it out of the packaging and broke before I even put it on.. I got in touch with customer support and they literally told me it’s a known issue that they haven’t resolved?! But are still selling the item?! Haven’t offered a refund and have ignored my request of wanting some sort of resolution.. Bad. Unprofessional. Kind of ridiculous. Products aren’t cheap either. I absolutely don’t recommend.
DEFI design flat out lies about free returns for orders within the USA and other countries on their site. By the looks of the other reviews, they’ve been deceiving many customers for quite some time.
They sent me a DEFECTIVE item and said I need to pay for return shipping, and are basically gaslighting me in their emails. Shout out to Angelie at DEFI for being super unhelpful. They’re terrible. I’m contacting my credit card company to flag the merchant, and have filed complaints with the FTC and Shopify.
Everyone who has an issue with them, be sure to report them to Shopify, who hosts them. Just google “Shopify report seller” to find where to submit a report.
Their .myshopify URL is eaf201-01.myshopify.com (seen in the source code for their store), which helps Shopify support look them up faster.
This inconsistency between what their site advertises and what their support team is now stating is misleading and considered deceptive business conduct.
Merchants must provide accurate and truthful information on their storefront, per Shopify’s Terms of Service.
Return policies must be clear and consistent with a merchant’s actual practices, as outlined in the Shop App eligibility requirements.
False or deceptive content is not permitted under Shopify’s Acceptable Use Policy.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) states that “[advertising must be truthful and non-deceptive]” and that businesses must follow the terms they advertise, including return policies.
If you need help finding your order url page for Shopify, just add “/account” to the end of the DEFI design site URL in your browser, sign in to your customer account (or shop app) for their store, and you’ll be able to see your order history with your order URL to give to Shopify on the report form.
I’ve never had an issue like this with any other store on the Shop app or Shopify. I hope Shopify kicks them off their platform for having zero integrity with their misleading and deceptive business practices.
They don’t respond on returns nor do you get your money back, don’t buy here!
When my trousers arrived, I noticed the zipper was broken. They were also a bit too small. I sent an email asking if it was possible to receive a new pair due to the broken zipper, and whether I could get them in a size up. I wrote a polite message and included some photos of the trousers. Within 24 hours, I received a response saying they would sort it out for me as soon as possible. The new pair has now been shipped. Great service.
I ordered from Defi Design based on their return policy, which clearly stated at the time that return shipping would be covered by the store. After receiving the item and requesting a return, I was told that I would have to pay for the return costs myself.
When I pointed out their own return policy (including a screenshot), they responded that the policy had since been “updated” and still refused to cover the shipping. This is not just bad service — it’s misleading and borderline deceptive.
If I had known they were a US-based store with hidden return costs for EU customers, I would not have ordered at all.
Be very careful ordering from here — they do not honor the conditions they advertised when the purchase was made.
Really cute designs! I’ve ordered several times, the delivery time and customer service for my first couple orders were pretty bad. I still came back because they have pretty unique pants that I can’t find anywhere else. The customer service and delivery time has improved a LOT since my first few orders but it’s still not perfect. The quality of the clothes is great - just the company seems to be a little slow on customer service.
They do not honor the stated return policy on their website. Verbatim, it says "mail your return with the prepaid label you receive from our support team" and "return shipping charges will be paid by us." Meanwhile, customer support staff Angeline is telling me over email "Please note that we only offer free returns for U.S. customers with orders over $150. As per our return policy, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs."
NOWHERE on the return page does it mention a $150 order minimum for free returns. Really slimy.
Bought the pants ins, they fit perfectly. The buckles were adjustable, the zipper is most likely a little bit fragile but with that in mind, I just used it with care. Wore it all night at a rave with no complications, they were actually really comfortable to wear! All in all really happy with the pants!

I purchased a pair of trousers and I live in the UK. They didn’t fit properly, so I wanted to return them—only to be told I’d have to send them back to Bali and cover the cost myself. This is despite the fact that their website clearly states they provide return labels—apparently only for the US.
Had I known this, I would never have made the purchase. Weeks later, they emailed me with a European address but still expected me to pay for the return label. Absolutely ridiculous.
I ordered the "PANTS INS" on ~Jan 30 and then wore them once on Feb 15th for a rave. I was provided lovely customer service when i messed up and put in the wrong shipping address and it was almost immediately corrected. The quality of the pants was high, however the zipper broke almost immediately. I am very disappointed as they now won't zip up even if I am not wearing them. I could return them but to be aligned with sustainability, I am going to bring them to a tailor to fix them. I really like these pants, the design is so cool, I just wish they didn't have this zipper issue right out of the gate.
I bought some clothes from their site, I need to return them, the procedure requires sending an email to request the return label. They did not respond. I also contacted them on instagram and they did not provide me with assistance. Do not trust them! There is no customer support
Bought 5 items and unfortunately only 1 item fit properly, the rest were so ill-fitting and the proportions were off. I found the quality of a couple of the tops so low for the price that they were.
What frustrated me the most was the promise that delivery was going to take 4-8 days but they arrived 5 days after, completely missing my birthday event that i had planned to wear them for.
After chatting to customer service they don't yet have a returns form set up for the UK/Europe but have since offered me a refund on the 4 items. The refund will take 7-10 days and I am still awaiting an address to send it all back to
