This is the Spirit Airlines of…

This is the Spirit Airlines of defensive driving companies. They advertise great benefits then nickel and dime for every little thing. You find out at the end that they'll MAIL(!) the certificate of completion which takes 7-10 days or you can pay another $10.98 for an instant download. Want an online driver record? No problem, it only will cost $27.50 vs $12 to get it yourself online.

Hidden fees! Total cost is $52, not $27.

I am extremely disappointed in the deceptive pricing at DefensiveDriving.com. They fail to disclose the full cost of the service upfront, violating basic transparency standards. The advertised $25 price is a "bait" that doesn't include the mandatory $27 fee revealed only after course completion. This "junk fee" practice is misleading to Texas consumers who have already invested a full day of labor into the program. I have reported this to the Texas AG and the FTC.

It's an absolute scam.

It's an absolute scam.
Stay away from defensivedriving.com.

They say lowest fee in texas, charge $25 for course and then while downloading the certificate, they again charge $28.
Look for the companies where instant download is included in $25.

Co-hosts boast about customer service but wait

Both co-hosts boasted about their customer service being such a great deal.
However,I had to contact their customer service by phone and found the service wanting.

My first call was answered right away and I was placed on hold without asking me to hold on. I found this to be unprofessional. I waited on hold for over 10 minutes until I decided to hang up and try again.

My second attempt at calling Defensivediving.com I was told that I was number three in the queue. Their phone system offered me to press number one if I wanted a callback. I did and waited 20 minutes before I made my third call.

I was informed that I was number one in the queue. It was during this time waiting that I realized being number one in the queue doesn't mean anything. My total wait time was 28 minutes before someone answered. I was explaining my experience on my two previous calls when he said "do you want me to hang up so you can call back again?" He then said "I can place you on hold so you can wait some more before I help you."

Two thumbs down

Ordered driving record, got an error. Now I have to wait until Monday for it when it promised instant delivery. Quizzes are terrible, course is outdated

Complete rip off!

Complete rip off!! They charge $28 initially. After you spend hours and complete, you need to fork out another $25 for the certificate. Talk about theft

Totally scam

Totally scam, to download the certificate you need to pay additionally and there is no information on the site until you complete the course. Also, even for the course the price is only after you start registering. The videos have more than 30 years and experience is very bad.
