I would check out a different company
Lots of spelling errors throughout. Plus, fast readers/comprehenders will find the pacing extremely slow. I sat for 5-10 minutes on each module waiting for the next module. Instead of taking 4 hours as promised, it was more like 6 hours.

Thorough and Affordable, Despite Some Pacing Issues
I appreciated the thoroughness of the course. There was a good balance of reading materials, graphics, and videos that kept the content engaging. The confirmations were unobtrusive, and the quick questions and full quizzes were straightforward and easy to follow.
My main frustration—probably due to state requirements rather than the Institute's choice—was the mandatory waiting time at the end of each lesson. Sometimes it was just a few minutes, but other sections required much longer waits before I could continue, which interrupted the flow when I was ready to keep going.
I also noticed some typos and grammatical errors scattered throughout. While not a major issue, they were occasionally distracting.
Overall, I was pleased to complete this course online at my own pace and at a reasonable cost. The Defensive Drivers Institute offered the best rate among all the options linked on the New York State DMV website, which made it an easy choice.
