App idea is generally great and I enjoy it. However, there are some small bugs which I've reported twice sometime ago, but haven't been addressed yet. They are mainly related to the cards after each t... See more

Deepstash is a scam and they will steal your money. I started a trial subscription to Deepstash a few months ago. I cancelled the free trial well before the trial ended. I was just charged $49.95 well after the cessation of my trial. There are so many people sharing stories that are no different than mine. It is egregious behavior on the part of the application, and the people behind it.
I immediately contacted my bank to file a fraudulent charge and opened a fraud/misleading charges ticket against this company. I have also reported the app to Apple Support. Deepstash app and the people behind it need to be held accountable for shady business practices. Stay away from this horrendous “service” - $50 is a lot of money to most people and I hope nobody has to go through what I, and many before me have experienced.

What made this experience great was having access to countless of different topics that get straight to the point or meaningful information that you can collect from what you read. What this company is doing well is the willingness to provide the controversial but important books for us to read such as “1984” or “The 47 Laws of Power”.

I like the format and how it naturally replaces social media habits, I would have liked the information to be a bit more bite-sized, but in saying that it is still effective in its purpose. Thank you.

I signed up for the free trial, but was not notified before this trial ended about the yearly subscription rate, and I was charged anyway. Not worth it! Mindless scrolling on YouTube does not cost $70 a year, and I'm perfectly fine with that!

Everything is good, but when we test the idea with questions, the answer always stays A.

Easy small chunks. Difficult to navigate. UX does not allow me to move around easily between various things.

This is the best app. I'm really grateful for the creators of this app and all the people who do contents in this app. It helped me so much in my journey. Thank you thank you!

Support team took time to explain the difference between Free account and Free trial period for Pro account. While it was very unclear while downloading the app (and also concerning given the other negative reviews), their explanation allowed me to understand their process. They assured me that there is no automatic upgrade to a paid Pro subscription. I'm grateful for their support.

I had great experience with their customer support, i purchased their pro version but for some reason i was not able to use it so i asked for refund after a month, they handled my request very well and without even asking for any reason they completed my request for refund.

Thanks Deepstash for coming up with this idea which helps sprout many ideas worth exercising from various reads…

The simple process of registering and subscribing was completed with ease. This is a fantastic App where crux of segmental knowledge is imparted to the learner with ease. The algorithm is simple and the learning is just amazing

I cannot recommend this company.
Subscription payments are processed outside of the Google Play Store's secure environment. Consequently, when my subscription unexpectedly renewed, my request for a refund, submitted shortly after the payment was processed, was denied.
Under similar circumstances within the Play Store, an immediate refund would typically be issued.
I am currently out of pocket by $85 NZD. I will update this review should a refund be provided

I purchased Deepstash. Gave it a legit try and decided it wasn’t for me. Even though there was a money back guarantee, they are refusing to refund because I didn’t spend enough time on the app. Totally ridiculous they wouldn’t honor the money back guarantee. Don’t bother with this app/ company.

The app and the idea is great.
I found some bugs need to be fixed.
Also sharing the app to someone else is broken, please fix it. I want to try pro version once.
Thanks!

Update after their reply to my review here; still no refund or ‘goodwill gesture’ and no replies to email.
A complete scam. Downloaded the app, didn’t use it. I keep an eye on subscriptions via my Apple account and nothing was on there about Deepstash - which was on the terms of service that was on the app - then found my card was charged. Immediately emailed for a refund and got one email to say it wasn’t going to happen and they refused to respond to the rest. An absolute disgrace of a company.

I came on here because I recently was charged for a subscription I cancelled.
Then come to find out a lot of other customers have had similar issues with this company as well. I contacted them after seeing a charge that I wasn't aware of and they denied me a refund because of their “policy”. Highly unsatisfied with the service.

I was charged unexpectedly for a Deepstash subscription without receiving the renewal reminder that was promised. I contacted support within 14 days because I did not like the app and wanted a full refund, but I still have not received any reply to my email.
The app itself was not for me, which is fine, but the customer support experience has been frustrating. It is already difficult to find a support contact, and now there is no response at all.
I would like Deepstash to respond to my email and process my refund request.

Awful company with shady business practices. I tried to cancel my subscription in which I thought went through but was charged anyways. I went to the app to do it again and realized there is multiple pages you have to click cancel on and not just once. Contacted Deepstash just after being respectful and explained that to them. They would not refund me and only offered me a complimentary upgrade on a yearly subscription instead. Shady business practices with no customer support. Planned to use the app in the future and now will not be back.

Great way to read a book and learn concepts. This is like having key concepts of a book written in a summarised form in a journal. Love reading on deepstash.
