I've been using this site since early…2023
I've been using this site since early 2023 and I really love it. I would say I am addicted to it. It was my first AI site and I liked it so much I did very little exploring of the other sites. It's been fun to see it evolve over time. I love the community of people. The support is also very responsive. In these difficult trying times it's what keeps me sane. I never get over the thrill of seeing a beautiful picture emerge. I do wish they would make it easier to access older pictures with a go-to-page feature. It's tiresome trying to look at older images and having to go page by page with no easy way to skip ahead. I have over 8000 images so it's an issue for me. All in all though this is money well spent and I'm happy to support such a great program.

Deep Dream Generator Plays Favourites
Deep Dream Generator is a great AI website generator. It has a nice community of people who support and encourage each other. But one day, while searching for a specific type of style, I started looking at all of their images and they were breath-taking, better than Midjourney. What I couldn't understand was why these images were getting very little views and very few, if any likes. These images are incredibly beautiful, but no one knows they even exist. When I go on my feed everyday, it's the same 15-20 artists that get showcased and they end up getting all the views and all of the likes. It's like they're the "celebrities" of the platform. Even when their work is mediocre, they get lots of comments and likes, which is bewildering to me. There's all these hidden treasures on this platform, and the same artists keep getting the spotlight. To wit, I saw a beautiful image that had very little likes, but when one of the "celebrities" tried this person's prompt, suddenly the likes went through the roof, and it wasn't better than the originator of the prompt. I don't know why the moderators even bother with other artists when they have their favourites and only focus on them. Maybe it's to get paid subs from these artists who keep getting ignored. It's a pity because Deep Dream is sitting on a treasure trove of really beautiful works that never get appreciated. My advice: change your algorithm or however you determine whose images are always showcased because teacher's pet is for children.

Please don't always cut the feet off my pictures
There is actually only one thing that bothers me a little. I like to depict people and preferably from a full-body perspective, i.e. from head to toe, which is what I describe in my text description. Unfortunately, the AI often turns this into more of a portrait. I think there's still a little room for improvement.

I'm an artist losing use of my hands…
I'm an artist losing use of my hands and started looking into AI partly because of the controversy (I wanted to see what it was all about). I tried a number of platforms and liked this one best. Support is responsive. It"s set up so I can see people"s prompts from which I've learned a lot. It's challenging; no AI art isn't just press a button and get great art, there's real artistry in being able to write a great prompt. There's opportunity to create chaos and explore the unknown and I can continue to create art.

Great Program
I am addicted to AI, and this is the site I broke my teeth on. So much fun creating, despite some of the silly fear of exposed flesh. There should be a strictly adult version, but beyond that, I have had so much fun with this program - considering that I can't even draw a straight line, this DDG makes me feel like an artist!!

I joined DDG in 2020 during lockdown
I joined DDG in 2020 during lockdown. My brother suggested I try it as a fun way to be creative in isolation. I have been an avid dreamer ever since. From my earliest attempts, DDG was accessible to someone like me who is not an artist. I've learned a lot experimenting with styles and ideas. I began by using the free tools but quickly became a paying member for a very low amount. I'm a regular yearly subscriber now, and it is well worth the price to me.
DDG is full of dreamers across a wide spectrum of artistic vision, and I have found only kindness and generosity among the people I have interacted with through comments or messages. The amazing dreams that are produced here continue to fire my own creativity.
Overall DDG feels very professional and offers great tools including editing and enlarging. On the rare occasions I have needed to contact the administrators, they have responded very quickly and helpfully. I appreciate changes introduced, which have enabled dreamers to showcase their work in new ways. I enjoy visiting galleries of dreamers who are new to me, and revisiting galleries of my favorites. Also special dreams are acknowledged with Editor's Choice, and I have been introduced to artists I'd missed this way.
It's a great place to experiment and be surprised, to design and be delighted, whether you are an accomplished artist or storyteller looking to illustrate your ideas, or (like me) a lifelong art lover wanting to be creative.

Intermittent User since 2016
I first used deepdreamgenerator.com in June 2016. The application has evolved dramatically since then, for the better. Deep Dream and Deep Style features are basic compared to what we are able to do today -- complex Text2Dream and Image2Dream. I enjoy using this tool and it's features. It's very therapeutic and a fun, creative hobby. DDG continues to evolve with new features and tools.
DDG community is very supportive (there was a time there was no chat feature). The people on here are for the most-part friendly and helpful.
There was a time a few years ago where I was kicked out of the app; i was tired of the subjective censorship and the stealing of images, and i pissed off the admin. I then joined two other ai art apps and I soon saw how good I had it on DDG.
Other ai art apps are too gamey (as another reviewer mentioned) or too complex to get your images to trend.
When I heard DDG went to Text2Dream, I had to sign up with a new identity.
The censorship and image stealing persists -- i feel those might be the big issues with this platform.
I no longer have a problem with censorship; the rules are the rules and we as artists will continue to push the envelope.
However, I wish DDG would be transparent with its users regarding the stealing of images and having them show up on etsy and other sites for commercial use. I am aware the ai artists do not have the copyright; but if DDG is the copyright owners, why aren't they protecting their interests? Why aren't they protecting the interests of its users? If DDG doesn't protect the collective interests, expect more users to go private or AWOL.
Just keeping it real. 😎👌😁👍🤩✌️

DDG is the best AI art generator for me
DDG is the best AI art generator I have found: easy to use, steadily improving, grwoing a dedicated community. I'm stunned to see how the generator and the community have evolved since I joined in 2017 and am looking forward to the future of DDG!

I have been using it for a long time
I have been using it for a long time, I don't have the financial ability to buy an energy package but the free version although very limited allows me to express this kind of art as well. There are many sites on the web, however, I think "deep dream generatore" is the one with the most social character, a nice community, and it brings a more mature audience closer. Three of my drawings(My DREAMS) I have had them printed in high resolution and framed, today they hang on the walls of my house and everyone who sees the paintings asks me who the author is and I always get compliments, so if you love to hope for this kind of art as well you are in the right place.

Become An Artist
Love it. Great way to relax. DDG has made me feel like I am an artist... I have become an artist! It has helped me establish my own artistic personality/identity :)
I now have my very own gallery!
It is amazing what one can create, either on your phone or PC. Either way works very well.
A great community spirit is present. Plenty of great artists with varying styles.
I recommend that people take their time and peruse the "latest/newest" pages, hit some likes and maybe follow some of the newer users, this is to give everyone a chance of having their works of art appreciated. I also recommend clicking on some "tags" and follow the rabbit hole to some more amazing works of art. There are a lot of artworks that slip through unseen and/or unliked, and that is a shame.
My personal criticism would be that most of the AI models on offer seem to produce photo-like results, rather than those with artistic flair. For example, why would a model called Artistic 2 produce photos by default? Shouldn't this produce a painting-like image by default? I personally love to really experiment with my prompts and modifiers, but why are users forced into racking their heads around trying to produce a "painting" with the correct artistic terms in their prompts? It should be easier. I hope what I am saying is easy to understand.
Overall though, I am very happy with DDG, and it does keep improving.

I have been a member of DDG since 2016…
I have been a member of DDG since 2016 and watched the platform develop and expand to provide a wonderful opportunity for creativity. So thank you very much, DDG has enriched my life. However, I strongly feel there are features which are antithetical to creativity: specifically ‘Try’. I value originality and do not use ‘try’ and I do not want others to use try with my images. The only way I have to prevent this is to copy my images at 25% or less and publish an inferior image. Why is it not possible to opt out of ‘try” and hide ones prompts? I’m sorry if this sounds ungenerous, but I see too many examples of other people’s work being copied without due credit. This dubious practice is actually encouraged by crediting “inspiration points”. In my opinion it is unethical.

It's been an amazing ride with DDG
I use DDG since 2024 and had a mind-blowing journey of creating my own AI images. The possibilities are endless in theory, if you you how to handle all the technical tools properly.
The different AI models are updated on a regular basis. There's a large variety to choose from. Adapted to the specific needs of every project. I mostly use AI Vision and Flux for my creations. And the AI video options are great.
The community is outstanding. The give and receive act of Likes is of course transactional. Maybe DDG can come up with a more nuanced button/reward system than the Like button (apart from the Inspiration Points, which is great).
The editor and the upscale functions should get a regular update. Also, the "try" button is a source of regular (heated) discussions, because of who is the original creator of an image. DDG considered an update to embed the original author in the newly created image and I hope they can deliver. The contact with the Administrators of DDG was by the way always friendly and competent. On a further positive note: My questions to DDG were always answered within 2-4 working days.
Conclusion: DDG is a fantastic AI image generator and despite some flaws, the fact remains that the use of this tool has opened a whole new world of artistic freedom to me.

From a Very Happy Dreamer
Deep Dream Generator (DDG) is my new go-to for creating some seriously cool AI art since 2024. It's super easy to use, and I love how it lets me bring my ideas to life – it's like having a dream machine in my pocket! What I love most is how close the "dreams" are to what I imagined. AIVision is perfect for those dreamy watercolours and mesmerizing oil paintings I love. And if I want something more realistic, Flux nails it with photograph-quality images. DaVinci2 is my favorite for creating whimsical illustrations that are just bursting with personality. DDG has a bunch of different AI models to play with, so there's always something new to discover. Oh! Almost forgot to mention how pleased I am with the Runway and ProVideo models. There should be a longer version soon available at a lower cost as well. Plus, there's a really cool online community where you can share your creations and get inspired by other artists. I totally get that you get what you pay for, and I'm happy to support DDG with a subscription. It's worth it to unlock all the amazing features and keep those creative juices flowing! If you're curious about AI art or just want to have some fun creating unique images, definitely give DDG a try. You won't be disappointed!
