De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture is een familiebedrijf met een duidelijk concept: het ontwerpen van stoere, eigentijdse, aantrekkelijke en eenvoudig te monteren meubels. In 2001 werden de gebroeders Gerard, Winfried en Jos de Smit het gezicht van De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture en ontwikkelden een portfolio met vier sterke merken, ieder met een eigen sterke positie in de markt. De BePureHome collectie wordt met een luxe uitstraling gepresenteerd terwijl de focus van WOOOD vooral ligt op het ontwerpen van functionele meubelen. De collectie van vtwonen heeft een eigen karakter en loopt altijd een stap vooruit en Basiclabel is altijd uniek met eigen collecties en retailformules. Sinds 2021 is een vijfde merk aan het merkenportfolio toegevoegd: Exotan buitenmeubelen. De tuinmeubelen van Exotan zijn al ruim 25 jaar een begrip in de tuinmeubelbranche. De producten zijn gemaakt van hoogwaardige, duurzame materialen en worden geproduceerd in Azië. Door de jarenlange ervaring is Exotan altijd op de hoogte van de ontwikkelingen in de markt. Onze artikelen van de merken BePureHome, WOOOD en vtwonen worden in meer dan 50 landen en via 1500 verkooppunten over de hele wereld verkocht. We zijn een jong team en hebben een eigen frisse benadering op meubilair en design ontwikkeld. Vanuit ons hoofdkantoor komen onze unieke collecties tot leven en werken we samen met mensen wereldwijd. Meer dan 30% van onze collectie wordt geproduceerd in onze eigen fabriek in Nederland. Wij geloven dat we een positieve impact op ons wereldwijde milieu kunnen bijdragen. Daarom heeft al het hout in onze fabriek dat voor onze merken wordt gebruikt een FSC-keurmerk. En met 40 jaar ervaring in design, productie en de distributie van meubels zijn wij een gevestigde naam in de Europese meubelindustrie. In 2020 hebben we onze droom gerealiseerd: een nieuw hoofdkantoor met distributiecentrum en showroom! Dit nieuwe architectonische gebouw is meer dan 16 meter hoog en bied 190.000 m3 ruimte voor onze gehele collectie.

I strongly advise against buying…

I strongly advise against buying anything from this brand! The quality is poor, and the service is even worse. My order arrived with missing screws for the closet door, a missing shelf, and scratches all over. When I reached out to them about these issues, there was no apology or offer of a discount. Instead, they claimed the scratches were “part of the design.” I’m not sure what kind of design theme considers visible damage acceptable.

After waiting two weeks for the missing parts, I only received the screws—not the shelf. Now I have to wait even longer to receive everything I originally paid for. If you want to waste your money, go ahead and buy from them; otherwise, look elsewhere.
