Great sales team, really lovely people to work with...but the actual bookkeepers are tremendously incompetent. Absolutely wrecked my books by failing to follow GAAP. The financial data and insights necessary for the successful operation of my business were worse then non-existent: they were wrong! And then Decimal switched to an online portal for all interactions, so no more monthly calls to work through issues, answer questions, etc.

Stay far, far away from this train wreck of an operation.

I've run businesses for 30+ years and have worked with developing products for accounting firms. While I'm not an accountant, I have a deep understanding of the process of bookkeeping and the workings of accounting firms. I had a company chose Decimal and the whole process was seemed to be problematic and the experience was poor. The books were a mess at year end and needed to be reconstructed, most calls I had dropped in on were unfriendly, the customer service was frustrating from the account management. Having used other services, like Collective, Bench and other CPA services in my opinion I would put my experience with Decimal lower on the list.
