The Whisky Partners / Decant Index company provide solid professional advice when it comes to buying and selling whisky. My Client Manager, Isaac Chambers, is outstanding in his knowledge of the industry and in how he can provide the best advice for his clients in a no-nonsense, open and honest delivery, whilst being friendly and thoroughly professional throughout.
As a first-time investor, I was carefully walked through the process in a measured and un-hurried fashion and felt that I was in safe hands.
Their passion for the service they as a company and Isaac in particular provides to all of their client's is un-paralleled and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for investment opportunities in this area.

Whisky Partners helped me with the purchase of a whisky cask for my current portfolio. They offer really helpful reminders on when stock is available and I have an allocated customer support person who can assist any purchases I would like to make. The process is very straightforward to manage, the whole process is very transparent - with an allocated certificate and cask number for each purchase and the opportunity to visit your casks in their bonded warehouse.

I have bought a couple of cask from whisky partners, mostly cause the knowledge and the honesty of my account manager Isaac chambers, he is a nice guy that wants you to succeed in this business.

I took advice from a whisky-loving friend on investing in whisky and I’m very glad I did.
My experience with Decant Index - as Whisky Partners are now known - has been quite exceptional. My main contact is Isaac Chambers and there are several entries referencing his expertise. I can only say that his knowledge and enthusiasm are refreshing, while his affability is warm and genuine. On a recent visit to a whisky bond (in Clackmannanshire) the opportunity for a face-to- face meeting was memorable and uplifting; this man has a good heart and appreciable depth to his character.
I am pleased that he is my account manager and I trust him to be honest and helpful.

I never thought I can invest in whisky however, having spoken to Isaac Chambers couple of times I got my first barrel. I was impressed by his knowledge and expertise, most importantly I felt he is sincerely genuine. Now I have 4 barrels and I feel investing with Whisky Partners is best thanks to Isaac.

I’d like to recognise via this feedback and observations Mr Issac Chambers. I’ve been an account holder with Whiskey Partners for approximately 14months and have accumulated 6 whiskey casks during this time. Around March April 2025 I had a change of account manager which I wasn’t initially aware of and received a call of introduction from Mr Issac Chambers.
I was cautious initially as I’d only been with Whiskey partners for approximately 7months.
After speaking with Mr Chambers for about 45-50 minutes I was impressed with his knowledge and client skills demonstrated to help me with the transition from the previous A/C manager which is always difficult how Me Issac re-assured me he would be available whenever I called upon him regarding any questions concerns or products I needed to understand. I have since the change expanded my portfolio and I’m enjoying my new hobby what makes it interesting and good for me personally is that I don’t feel it’s all down to me to deal with Issac calls me with new offers and provides excellent background to the casks in question hi knowledge in the particular area for me is very very good and he never puts pressure on me to purchase. I recently move in July and ask Issac give me 3 months headroom to settle which he did but What I also like is he contacted me within that window asking how things were going with a hard sell behind the call genuine people client skills that if I’m totally honest made me want to do business with Issac and Whiskey Partner now Decant which I have since done and I’m very happy with my current portfolio.
Issac continues to provide updates and offers of Casks and always add very interesting background information associated to each one which I find in valuable and very educational in me developing my understanding of the cask whiskey element for me to make a more calculated decision in developing my portfolio.
Overall I’m very pleased, satisfied and more confident with dealing with Issac when considering my next purchase and made my hobby and investment very interesting indeed and want to thank Mr Issac Chamber for all his help and support to date and long may it continue in my opinion. Thanks again Issac.

The service Decant provides is top class but unfortunately I am unable to make a payment via the system and have been for some time now. Nevertheless, an EFT works and this has been my mode of operandi in the past and is likely to be going forward.

Isaac is passionate, and always puts his clients first. I think what I value most is that he listens to what I think and advises me with honesty and integrity. Why I invest in another barrel of whisky.

Easy to buy a cask but NOT easy to sell one! Bought 2 casks nearly 5 years ago, requested to sell them one year ago but was told they could not buy back which was part of their marketing strategy when I bought them. Had to wait a year to put onto the ‘new’ online selling platform, no offers. The company refused to lower the asking price for the casks when I requested, have been told again now that they cannot buy the casks back
And offered no support or advice on next steps. Often been told when calling that they have no facility to transfer calls to managers if I want to complain, poor communication. I understand that i made the purchase which is fine but don’t be fooled by the possibility of selling . Loads of reviews about how clients are so happy to have built their profile with the company, I am guessing they have not looked at selling any casks, it’s next to impossible.
