Game is dead

Game is dead. It's really gone. Takes over 15 min to even get to a dead lobby now. Today as im writing the review we spent one hour on 1 game coz the lobby was so dead no matches were found. I guess eveyeone really been fed up with all these new useless updates and killers with no skills that have 10 abilities etc and im a main killer lol. I had to switch my pc off coz I got bored waiting. RIP dbd you made ur money. It's time for a new game

Horrible balance

This game needs to be deleted and i really hope the company gets put down as well. Such an amazing unbalance between the 2 roles, with every update making it worse. Not only that, but they "regret" and keep themselves from adding the anti-tunnel-system and anti-slugging-mechanic. With its first announcement, every killer-player started making every survivor wanting to uninstall the game. Ultra slugging and tunneling, as well as bullying and insulting. NEITHER GETS PUNISHED. I have had so many games recently where i got permanently tunneled, hook-camped without the bar increasing, facecamped during the game and put in deep wound after being unhooked. Almost every game results to 3-4 people being slugged and everyone disconnects. The toxicity level is atrocious and NOBODY gets punished. Then, we also have solo-queue griefers. They refuse to unhook, hide the whole game long, throw pallets in your face and show the killer where u are if they themselves get tunneled. They also never help and dc on their first hook. Its really funny that we get so many updates with battlepasses, cosmetics etc., but the devs are incapable of improving their ds game. The killers have broken add-ons and such a map advantage sometimes, which in combination with the tunnel issues listed above is UNPLAYABLE for a survivor. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME AND IF YOU OWN IT FOR FREE, DO NOT INSTALL IT AT ALL COSTS.

It's a fun game

It's a fun game, there are two sides of the coin, killer being fun sometimes to play, while being the harder option especially against a SWF. Survivors have it easier so if you want a more relaxed game it's best to choose that option. I play both sides and have thousands of hours on the game so I know what I'm talking about.
Good choice of killers to choose from, some are very very weak though and maps can make it impossible to get even a 1K. Survivors have better perks and even in a 2 man SWF can escape easily.
It all comes down to is your team gen rushing/efficient, if they aren't you simply won't get your main objective done. Tunnelling and camping isn't really a problem as there are so many perks that make it easy to just escape and buy your team more time for gens, plus if a killer tunnels one person out they spend all their time focused on one person so the team should really get the gens done, unless you're just a bad team. That's my review with over 5 thousand hours of knowledge behind it.

Absolute disgrace

Absolute disgrace. The creators really think that stopping a survivor from killing themselves on hooks takes priority over the absolute trash amounts of tunnelers and campers. You think you need to favour the killers to keep your game running? Wait until all survivor mains get bored of stupid matches with no counter methods whatsoever. Then we'll see if you like watching your game die.

Still can't win as survivor.

Still can't win as survivor.
I'm here 2 days later still trying to get one win. Out of the last 5 actual days of playing at least 25 matches, I've escaped 0 times. I'm on like a 25 loss streak. I'm not getting a fair game at all. It's like mat making does not exist on this game. It feels like I get 3 other random survivors new to the game and then killer 6000 who has 6k of hours played.
I know I'm bad at the game but when is my MMR going to drop? The new matchmaking sucks. Before 2022 or something the ge was so balanced. Survivors and killers was having fun, now only killers are having fun using survivors as punching bags every game. Np matter what I do I just disconnect from the game because I'm not having fun losing and get a 15 minute penalty.

It is fun and it is hard

It is fun and it is hard. These games are possible as a survivor if you learn how to play against killers. Its not designed for newbies. Which is a flaw. You have to be learn it quickly. Maybe have different match making system to allow new players to play against similar people. Your never going to please everyone with this type of game.

Killer sides

Killer sides , survivors have less a chance to win even with 4 people. They keep taking the perks to help survivors and nerfing them because popular gamers complain but I think it's unfair to the community. At the start of this games it was at an all time high but over the years it's completely dropped honestly think they can do better and stop messing up survivor perks 😤 fix your shit dead by daylight im disappointed

The most unfair game i ever played

The most unfair game i ever played. I played both side killer and survivor. But this game is sooooooooooooo killer sided that i can't tell.
It's not fun for survivor players.
Maybe if they make it less killer sided i can give it to a 2 star

This game is ridiculous

This game is ridiculous. The killers are OP, I win as a survivor maybe every 1 out of 10 games. Horrible experience. Killers perks are too over powered and hard to counter. I would not recommend playing this game.

So we got Kaneki now.

So we got Kaneki now? Cool, I guess, but like, why stop there? Since we’re apparently moving in this direction, let’s just go all out. Add Rick and Morty while you’re at it—Rick can zoom around with his portal gun, and Morty can apologize every time he downs someone. Or bring in Shrek to chase survivors out of the fog while yelling, ‘GET OUTTA MY SWAMP!’
At this point, nothing feels off-limits, so why not Scooby-Doo creeping through the Entity’s realm or SpongeBob sabotaging hooks with a spatula? It’s like Dead by Daylight is slowly becoming a multiverse of everything except horror. Wym dark atmosphere? We’ve got anime characters screaming at us now, so might as well go full crossover madness. Let’s just embrace it and make DBD the Fortnite of asymmetric horror games.

Behaviour Interactive Support – A Disgraceful Experience Full of Arrogance and Inhumanity

My experience with Behaviour Interactive has been absolutely disgraceful.
More than 7 years ago, I made a mistake on PC and received a ban in Dead by Daylight. Since then, I have played fairly and honestly only on PlayStation, simply to relax after work, never causing any issues again.

Recently, I contacted Behaviour’s support to ask if it was possible to remove the old ban note from my Steam profile, since I could play normally and the actual ban seemed cleared in practice.
The first agent, Paige, responded professionally, asking about potential error messages. I explained that there were none — everything worked fine — and politely asked if they could contact Steam to remove the visible “1 Game Ban” status.
Believing that things were resolved, I decided to link my clean PlayStation account to my Behaviour account.

Everything seemed fine — until I insisted again about the old Steam ban message.
At that point, Harrison took over the case — and that’s when everything went horribly wrong.

Without proper justification, Harrison reactivated the ban, banning me again on both Steam and PlayStation, and answered with an inhuman, arrogant, and completely dismissive attitude.
I politely tried to explain the situation and asked — at the very least — to unlink my PlayStation account, which had never been involved in any violation.
Harrison coldly refused, showing absolutely no concern for the fact that I had spent money on content I can no longer access, and no respect for my honest attempt to fix things properly.

As a result, I lost access to Dead by Daylight on PlayStation along with all my paid content, and Behaviour Interactive simply didn’t care at all.

I honestly have never encountered someone so heartless and rude in customer support.
Instead of helping a long-time, honest player trying to clean up an old mistake, they preferred to treat me as if I were a cheater trying to scam the system — which couldn’t be further from the truth.

I strongly advise anyone against investing time or money into Behaviour Interactive.
If you expect fairness, human support, or basic respect, you will be deeply disappointed.

Players are not numbers. And Behaviour Interactive clearly doesn’t understand that anymore.

Shameful.
