I've had an incredible experience with Deacon Insurance. Their team is professional, responsive, and truly cares about their clients. They made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Exceptional service with a personal touch—highly recommend!

Initiative Property Management in Bournemouth use Deacons as their insurance partner for blocks. As a director of the freehold company I noticed a very large sum for buildings insurance premium when the accounts were sent to me for sign off. It turns out that without our knowledge Deacon had commissioned a rebuild valuation 14 months earlier. Reviewing the valuation of the 2 storey building a lower ground floor and 2nd floor had been included. The resulting re-build value for 6x 3 bed flats of £6.6 million!!! Insurance premium £6600 with 20% of this going to Initiative Property Management. Complaints have been made and Deacons and Initiative deny the overvaluation. Both companies avoid answering calls. Deacons would not provide me with the account managers line manager. This will now be put with the Financial Omnibudsman. Initiative would not cancel the insurance. I am now 4 months into my battle with them and very stressed. Avoid Deacons and Initiative at all costs as you will be paying inflated premiums and ignored if you have any issues..

Money has been owing to me since beginning of December They dont have a record of the policy holder's payment from that time and say she hasn't paid. SHe has. The policy holder is not online for a number of reasons, and the company has only communicated with the secondary person on the policy who is not the policy holder. Is there a problem sending letters to the policy holder? Would not recomment them.

Untrustworthy company from the beginning.
Provided incorrect insurance, therefore unable to claim. Lied continuously and caused massive issues. Commission not paid, calls no answered and email not responded to.
Highly recommend you do NOT use Deacon.

Been with Deacons for 8 years and never claimed once. Had a bad water leak and tried to claim and they just fobed me off saying its not covered! Poor customer service and wont be using them ever again!

As described by others they work with Managing Agents - corrupt steer clear!

Terrible - made an online enquiry about insurance. Took days to come back to me, then with the wrong quote. After I corrected and waited again, came back again days later with the wrong quote again and wrong type of insurance. Told them not to bother.
