I highly recommend visiting DD…

I highly recommend visiting DD Clinical. I used them for tag removals and some other skin imperfections. The experience was superb from start to finish. Lovely, friendly staff and doctors await you that actually care about your wishes and needs, delivering a very professional service, with modern facilities and technology, all at a very competitive price. For all future treatments it will be DD Clinical for me. Oh, I almost forgot – they also serve a lovely cup of tea!

Fantastic experience

Fantastic experience. Had two moles removed at a very reasonable cost.
Care from start to finish was first class and the doctor was absolutely fantastic! No pain whatsoever.

Memorable experience in Chester.

Memorable experience in Chester.
From first contact followed by treatment I cannot praise this company highly enough. It was a wonderful experience and the clinic definitely has the WOW factor with it's inspiring and welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted me with great respect and care and the treatment by the Doctor and her assistant was exemplary. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough and it proved to be well worth the 30-minute journey by train from Prestatyn. I finished the day in Chester with an excellent Thai meal. A memorable day which I will not forget for a long time. Business is about people and the DD Clinic have an abundance of great staff.

Here's why I had such a great experience

I recently had a haircut and color with Lili, and I couldn't be happier with the results! 
She truly listened to my needs, provided expert advice, was attentive and patient throughout the entire process, making me feel comfortable and relaxed.

Highly unprofessional

It has taken me a long time to find the courage to write this review, mostly because I was in complete shock for days after my experience, which triggered significant distress and panic attacks. Initially, I naively hoped that DD Clinical would reach out to apologise for what happened, but as no contact has been made, I feel compelled to share my experience.

On 18 January 2024, I attended a follow-up appointment as part of my treatment for severe hyperpigmentation—a condition I’ve struggled with for a long time. As it worsened, it profoundly impacted my mental health and self-confidence, particularly due to how others react to my appearance.

Two weeks prior, I had to cancel a scheduled appointment at the last minute because I had returned from holiday with a severe chest infection. Concerned about infecting others, I left a voicemail and sent an email to inform the clinic, as I was unable to reach anyone directly. I never received a response. I later had to call again to reschedule the appointment.

On the day of the rescheduled appointment, I arrived five minutes early. While sitting in the waiting room, I overheard a conversation between my clinician, at reception. She asked the receptionist if she thought I would “bother showing up this time,” to which the receptionist responded by acknowledging that I had indeed cancelled the prior appointment but added that my cancellation indicated I wasn’t serious about my treatment and didn’t care.

I was sitting right there, listening to these supposed professionals discussing me as though I wasn’t present. It was deeply unprofessional, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to glance in my direction to realise I had arrived.

Ny practitioner was 10 minutes late to see me. During the appointment, she dominated the conversation, giving me little opportunity to express my concerns, and it was evident she wasn’t actively listening. The session felt rushed, and she didn’t take any progress photos—likely because the treatment plan, which was supposed to yield results within 12 weeks, showed no visible progress at week 11. Instead, she recommended extending the treatment by another six weeks, purchasing additional products (some of the most expensive ones available), and undergoing an extra peel—all of which had not been communicated when I initially agreed to the treatment plan.

This experience has left me incredibly disheartened. The treatment took all my savings and a great deal of courage to pursue, yet I was met with unprofessional behaviour and a lack of empathy. Overhearing such dismissive remarks about my commitment made me feel unwelcome and diminished. I expected better from a clinic that positions itself as a professional and supportive environment, and I hope this feedback prompts reflection on how clients are treated.
