everything about Daylesford is perfect except the prices which are exorbitant. As with many things in life I suppose.

Our Philosophy
At Daylesford, we’re dedicated to growing, producing and cooking seasonal, organic food. It must be fresh, and full of flavour, packed with the many vitamins and minerals that come from natural food, picked and eaten at its peak.
As part of a mission to reverse the industrialisation of our food and the pollution of the land that nurtures it, we practise organic, sustainable framing with far less pesticides and herbicides on our crops. We do not use artificial growth promoters and hormones on our animals, and maintain the highest welfare standards.
Above all, we believe that when people eat natural, organic food, they can taste the difference. It’s a chain of goodness that begins with healthy soil, and finishes with healthy animals and people.
Our Farmshops
From high-quality larder staples to indulgent treats for special occasions, our farmshop shelves are full with fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables from our organic Market Garden, artisan bread made by hand in our own Bakery, award-winning cheese from our Creamery and fresh organic meat from clover-rich pastures.
Our Homewares collections are made by makers who are as passionate about sustainability, quality materials and elegant design as we are to create one-of-a-kind items for your homes and gardens, from the softest linens to the signature scents of our home fragrance range.
Our Cafés
Our organic cafés are the natural showcase for what we do on the farm. Here, our chefs make our produce the star of each plate, with seasonally changing menus and daily specials highlight what’s good to eat right now.

delightful location
delightful location, set up, food and beverages. bread - basically everything you need and could want. only thing could be improved was meat counter was rather sad
Been there for lunch.
Been there for lunch.
The options at the counter are considered “take away” and can’t be consumed at the table, but on the menu you can find also options that are in the take away counter. We have been told that are considered two different restaurants and that sounds very stupid. One salad can be served at the table and the one next to it not.
Also the pizza it’s really bad quality. Any frozen pre cooked pizza from supermarket would be better.
Great supermarket and products such as fruits and vegs but in terms of restaurant I think
Should be reconsidered.

No wonder this place is low-rated. We had an awful experience. The staff was insulting. They refused us seating while the tables were empty and not reserved. Although we had a pricey order, they still refused to seat us with insulting attitudes and behaviour. They even decided to kick us out of the cafe.
It was such a traumatic experience, and we will never go back there again.
We are still waiting for the “refund” they were supposed to have issued, but it has not arrived until now.
