The Daygard Logistics Group of Companies include NVOCC’s Freight Movers International (“FMI”) and Cargo Movers International (“CMI”), as well as customs clearance division, Daygard Clearances (“DGC”) In 2003, FMI was formed to primarily handle imports from China and by 2004 FMI had expanded to include imports and exports to/from many areas. Over time, strong relationships have been built with some of the biggest agents in their respective countries, leading to substantial year-on-year growth, and this led to the formation of CMI and then the formation of our Customs clearance brand DGC In the years since it was formed, the Daygard Logistics Group has become one of the largest independent NVOCC’s in the UK covering all major trade lanes and with more direct weekly services than most in the market. A major difference between Daygard and its competitors is that the majority of cargo handled by the FMI and CMI brands are on terms controlled in the UK, meaning better control of the charges the clients pay.

Absolutely rubbish services

Absolutely rubbish services. Import from China to UK
Daygard quote it three times in one week for one cbm. Four suppliers, four products = 1 cbm in total. What if I would have 100 products? I can't even imagine.
After one week they have no idea how many suppliers/how many products I import, however I note each product with 1,2,3 and 4.
Their partner in Shenzhen has no idea who am I because Daygard provided just a number phone, not a warehouse address.
I asked Daygard four times in a row in one week time about the warehouse address, they couldn't provide any. I am really tired to see these office people walking around from an desk to another desk with two peace of paper in hand pretending they are busy.

When finally I asked them if am I asking to much from their incapacity to do their job (because I pay for their rubbish services), a director named Sarah told me to move my business elsewhere.

Don't loose your time with rubbish companies like Daygard, go straight away to other who really respect the business it self and your money.
I can't wait to see those unrespectfull companies who gives rubbish to their customers at the time when no customers will be around.

Save your time and find any a real logistic company

Best Experiences

AS ALWAYS BEST EXPERIENCE EVER I HAVE DONE ALOT OF SHIPMENTS THROUGH THEM VERY QUICK AND SPECIALLY VERY SIMPLE ESPECIALLY ONE THE COLLEAGUE IN CUSTOM CLEARANCE DEPARTMENT (MARRION) HE ALWAYS HELP ME AND MAKE EVERYTHING CLEAR IN DETAILS

Five boxes were delivered in Oct 2021

Five boxes were delivered in Oct 2021, one containing a large pizza oven from China which had been dropped on its roof off a vehicle during transit. It was delivered damaged, five months later still no insurance settlement.

I would like to say that I received…

I would like to say that I received excellent service with Dayguard's professional know how in dealing with all the paperwork and delivery to my home address importing a mini excavator from China..
I also would also like to say they are very fair in what they have changed myself in using their expertise..

First class service

First class service. These are my go-to agents. From Darren, Chloe and Billy all reply within minutes and happy to help. Expensive at the moment due to the global demand but I fully trust parting my money with this team. If you are new to importing and have been hit with charges unexpectedly, then you will most likely write a negative review although there charges are fair and honest. Ship docked 27/10 goods at my yard 02/11 say no more !

Incompetent awful company avoid

Incompetent awful company to deal with, not interested in customer service in the slightest. I am in the process of reporting the company to trading standards and watchdog, I suggest you do the same if your experience is anything like mine. I dealt with a guy called Billy ! totally useless you should he ashamed of yourself. After being charged extortionate costs just to get my items they turned up to my door very badly damaged, after months of dealing with the incompetence of Billy, he forced me into a corner saying I should serve them with a letter of intent. they do this thinking you won’t peruse compensation but I’m like a dog with a bone I won’t let go. Avoid at all costs if you can.

A long winded process compared to other services we have used. They required 3 x separate forms to be filled out with information that they mostly already have on the shipping docs, info was duplicated across forms, e.g. name, address, phone number had to filled in on both forms, plus 2 x separate invoices to pay, which I did find a bit exasperating.

Brilliant customer service from maximus…

Brilliant customer service from maximus Era from customs clearance. It was my first time getting products shipped over and I was really confused on how it all worked. Max was very helpful from start to finish. It felt like I was chatting to one of the boys that’s how comfortable he made me feel and helpful he was. Can’t thank him enough

Always good service from Daygard

Always good service from Daygard, regular emails and good comms from Rea Branch, who we normally deal with for all our consignments for delivery through Daygard.
Even with the haulage situation currently in the UK managed to get me a truck to get our goods to us in good time and thus avoid any additional cost, would recommend to others.

Received shipment …

I received my shipment today from daygard today I have never received anything which required someone to represent me regarding my shipment it was very easy with daygard they took control and sorted everything out for me i dealt with a young lady by the name of Rea very helpful and friendly....thanks for your help daygard and Rea .......brilliant....Will definitely recommend
