I tried to cancel my order via email, after not being able to contact them regarding delivery and a query I had not being answered. I then received a notification from a courier company a few days later saying that they had just received information to deliver. I've managed to cancel the delivery to not waste anyone's time. Not heard anything from Dave's doors and have had to seek out chargebacks from credit card on the transaction due to no contact availability. If for any reason they had delivered and there was an issue with the product I would imagine you'd be lost for any kind of replacement or refund. Avoid at all costs

Finally a door company that feels human. I have bought a number of doors over the years and generally always feel like another sales target. Daves Doors full service is clearly laid out on the website, with humans available on chat or email until you’re ready to chat in person. Perfect.
Dreadful customer service
This door is LPD not Daves Doors
After purchasing our door we noticed deterioration after a couple months
We contacted Daves Door and it took them 5 MONTHS to reply to tell us we had used the wrong sealant........in case you're wondering this information about sealants is on the FAQ of their website, not obvious instructions.
If they had replied to our emails in a timely fashion the door would have been salvageable. It is now beyond repair.
To top it all the handle sheered off on the inside today, also purchased from Daves Doors for over £200.
Don't waste your time or money here
Sturdy and Solid
We bought a stable door from Daves, and was really pleased with it, as was the carpenter when he fitted it.
A nice hard wood, lovely design and well packaged.

Communication with the company if you have questions is not easy, but the delivery notifications are really good and organised and the door itself is really good quality. I would use them again.

Your website is easy to navigate and find products that you need.
It would be nice to have more options on hardware before going to the checkout page.
Your composit and glazing options are limited but it's lovely to see natural materials used, this isn't an option I had considered but I will definitely look into this option after visiting your website.
Refund very hard to achieve
I first ordered and paid for a door in October. On the 18th November I was told they didn’t have the door. I was told on the 19th of November they had actioned a refund. It took 3 weeks to reach my bank account. I don’t think they sell doors. I think they hold people’s money and make money off the interest.
Don’t use this company.

If you can find doors elsewhere, buy them
I had to chase several times to get my doors. Messages, emails, and voicemails weren't answered. It took 6 weeks to eventually track my doors down and get them delivered.
Then the door frame was damaged and there were parts missing for the stable doors. Again they have not answered messages nor calls.
Shocking Customer Service
I purchased a hardwood Stable door and weather strip on the 13th August 2025 for £527.96. Door arrived successfully but no weather strip! Called customer services numerous times and left a message each time. Emailed equally the same amount of times, no response from either.
Paid through Paypal who were little help. They took up the fight and were sent the tracking note!
Had to purchase another strip. Lost about £80 in all but just wanted to say the Customer Service is very poor. The door was however of good order and is now fitted. Why do companies put so little value into customer service......seems so foolish!

Did chat on the website, was told to email. Emailed pictures etc. no response. Tomorrow will be day 3 of waiting...

Door took weeks to arrive. Comms were poor, no updates given unless chased several times. Don’t order if you need anytime soon.

Very impressed by delivery time and quality of workmanship on delivered product. Although detailed description could be better to avoid negative reviews !!! Especially for customers with no knowledge of complications with natural quality wood products ???
