I appreciate the compact size, as it fits nicely in my bag. However, I’m disappointed that it gets rusty after only a few uses. Although it offers a replacement warranty, I find the process too cumbersome to bother with returning it.

I love my Davek umbrellas. I finally lost mine after more than three years, so I immediately ordered another. It came the next day! I've purchased them for many members of my family, and they love them, too, especially the parasol! The parasol is crucial for summertime.

I gave the original to my New Yorker friend for his birthday. It’s now been Manhattan tested and it didn’t flip inside out in last week’s stormy weather. I gave him the classic black umbrella with gift wrap. The presentation was perfect. He reports that it small, easy to carry and works beautifully. He loves it. Thank you Davek. We did good.

How many umbrellas do you need? Just one more!

The duet umbrella is great. Packs down to fit in a back pack, but when it opens up it’s huge!! Great to have on hand when you’re expecting a complete downpour. Also, the sleeve appears to be waterproof so you can pack it away when you’re done (rather than leaving it in a public umbrella stand, which I would never want to do with such an expensive umbrella)
