DO NOT USE, IT'S A SCAM COMPANY

DO NOT USE IT'S A SCAM COMPANY

I used them to move my belongings (loads of furniture, boxes, etc) from London to Spain.

They do trade under 3 different names which is already a red flag I sadly didn't spot until it was too late and I had already paid the deposit.
You pay deposit via link so you can do on your credit card to be protected, but once they collect your stuff, they ask you to make a bank transfer so that you are no longer protected should you wish to claim for any damages or lost items. Which is what happened to me.

They lost several of my items which were in a boxed numbered and named (curiously enough those of most value). After a month and a half chasing them to locate this "misplaced box" they've now gone completely AWOL, not answering phone nor emails.
when I tried to make a claim via the insurance company they claim to be using, the insurer said that Swift Removals were not a client of theirs as they only got a quote but never paid for the policy, so we are talking about full on FRAUD. Now, upon noticing all this, I can only be grateful the rest of my stuff arrived ok, but I am pursuing a legal claim via citizensadvice for contract breach as well as an auditing for fraud so they stop scamming people and hopefully pay us back and get punished for the illegal and dodgy trading they've been doing.

They give you estimate weight(which they don’t say it is estimate) than later change it to double and ask for triple payment!! They call you an idiot etc!! This is not how you treat customers!!!! They need to be taken to court!!

We used this removal company to move to…

We used this removal company to move to our flat in London and to move items abroad. The items arrived later than quoted. But we where fine with this. But what was NOT ok is that they damaged our expensive glass table and are refusing to respond to emails for reimbursement of damages! Its totally unacceptable and every removal company should be insured. Lastly, upon unpacking our expensive wine glasses over 10 were smashed in the boxes. My advice is to not use this company even though the quote is cheaper as you pay the price later!

Nerve racking experience

Update:
The company is about to be struck off from companies house.
You need to act fast to recoup any damages.
Contact companies house and the courts if you have anything outstanding.

Still in dispute with the company about damage to my personal items.

For all who are considering using them or have recently shipped stuff: your items most likely will show up eventually (although they might be mixed up with someone else's since they do not take inventory of their shipments).

My experience has been that items are taken to a warehouse in East London, stored in crates and then moved again and again from van to van. Meaning things can get lost and damaged along the way.

Their billing procedures are also nerve-racking with them asking full-payment in advance and without firm confirmation of delivery dates. Once they have your payment updates on the shipment are sparse; if you challenge them the tone varies from patronising to threatening.

Overall a very stressful experience - for three weeks I thought all my personal belongings were lost.

Interestingly enough the company is using another legal entity for their transactions and there are no other reviews on Trustpilot for this business.
