I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from them. I ordered a bag which arrived damaged so I emailed them. No reply, so emailed again a week later and eventually got a response. Replied to that... See more

Just read everybody else's reviews
Just read everybody else's reviews, saves me time! I gather I'm never getting what I ordered and have lost my money 😔 IF THERE WAS A MINUS AMOUNT OF STARS OPTION, THATS HOW I'D RATE THEM. Should be shut down
They deserve ZERO stars
They deserve ZERO stars. I ordered clothes on the 14th of August, still no updates with tracking. Fast forward a week I emailed asking where my order is and why it has not been dispatched. No answer. Then I tried calling, no answer. Have emailed AGAIN. Will see if they bother contacting me.
I am demanding a refund. This is just unacceptable. Brands bigger than Dangerfield can manage to ship out their orders faster and have way better customer service. I have also lodged a dispute with Afterpay as this is just not good enough. I needed one of the items for an event this week.
Absolutely furious to say the least.
Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible!
Don't bother to even browse here .
The quality of all the products is a joke then there's the stores policy which is more of a joke . I've had multiple purchases resulting in poor quality to have continued returns where I was only offered exchange or store credit literally having to fight for a refund even though the store managers and employees were admitting towards the products poor quality. I was later informed that I am rude and a Karen . Excuse me but what ? I've now decided to just not shop here ever again . Total joke of a store .
Don't order online
If you are from Europe and are thinking of ordering from this brand, don't. I paid 25$ in delivery service, it arrived 1 month later and I still had to pay almost the same amount in customs tax. Not to mention that they sent it in 2 separated parcels so I have to pay for each one. The sizing is a joke, it fits like a garbage bag. I ordered a skirt with a buckle with loop to hold it (???). What a waste of money...
depends
if you have uncommon body proportions it's very hard to find clothes that fit well that aren't stretchy so do try stuff on, but the dress rooms have lighting that makes you look like you are hungover and lost 3 days of sleep.
and all their earrings and tights are dropshipping,
but the people are usually really nice in the store and there are lots of more interesting things to buy as gifts, like a more appealing typo
I visited your Dangerfield store and so glad I did!
I visited your Dangerfield store located in Melbourne Central, I believe, on Saturday 10th of June.
I was greeted by a bubbly lady as I entered the store. Thank you.
I was then greeted by another lady, Freya, and she was friendly, helpful and an absolute delight. Her customer service, authenticity and product knowledge is rare these days and she was amazing.
Freya, thank you so much for my experience in Dangerfield on Saturday. I was actually going to keep walking past but I am so glad that I came in and left with an awesome new coat and happy with receiving such great customer service. You are a rare gem when it comes to customer service, thank you.
Do not buy online. No refunds. Only credit notes and have to go in store to sort. No one answers online.
Agree with all the comments here regarding the non-existent customer service. I’ve tried everything, turning to Twitter and Facebook, to try and shame them into calling me but nope, nada, nothing. Don’t order online. You can’t return anything. You have to have a credit note for 3 years. Unbelievable. This is 2023. I just don’t have energy to fight it at moment, but I will.
Scam
They cancelled the majority of my order after over a month of waiting, and instead sent me someone else's order from a brand I have never heard of. Tried to contact them through multiple avenues and have been unable to get a response. Order online at your own risk!
Do not buy from them online
Do not buy from them online. Terrible customer service, bought online and item was never shipped after two weeks I emailed with no reply so email again, about 3-4 weeks later after emailing saying to give me my money back or send my order coz this is essentially thief I get a refund email with no explanation whatsoever. Absolute waste of my time and energy. Don’t know why they don’t just stop their online store coz from the other reviews I’ve read heaps of people have had the same issue. Muppets!
Customer service= dead at dangerfield
Customer service= dead at dangerfield
Bought items online (never again)
Half didn’t arrive and there was no communication as to why items were missed. I had to chase this up, then I get an email for a refund but it doesn’t say what items. I ask via instagram as they are way more active on their then their email. The person running the instagram account was rude and didnt even say sorry. When I complained she left me on read. Crap company
Great clothes, poor customer service + policy
I always like the clothes I buy from Dangerfield and typically don’t have any bad experiences. I try to size correctly because I live in the US and return shipping to Australia is expensive. I recently ordered a dress and received a completely different dress in the mail. Customer service was quick to respond, and they asked me to send the dress back, which was understandable. But free returns is only within Australia—they asked me to ship with DHL or a different carrier, implying that I would have to pay the return shipping fee. I would understand if the error was on my part but THEY sent me the wrong item. I very kindly inquired about being reimbursed for the shipping fee since the error was not on my part and the customer service rep’s reply felt passive aggressive. They agreed to make a label for me free of charge but the attitude was not needed and in my opinion I shouldn’t have had to pay in the first place since the error was on their part. I have never come across a single business that made customers pay return shipping for an item that was sent to them mistakenly, local or overseas. Not even small businesses would make their customers pay for an error that was their own fault.
Absolutely shocking customer service.
I am currently on hold for the third time. They never pick up their customer service phone. I have sent two emails. Ordered online and supposedly sent over three weeks ago. It is still saying ready for processing., Contacted Australia Post who have said it has never scanned and I need to contact sender. Well I have tried several emails. And now several phone calls. After half an hour been told there are no support agents to take call. And to try later. No thank you. I give up. I'm going to have to try get my money back somehow. I will only be buying from Dangerfield in store in future.
Sizing issues
The customer service is always excellent, however, the tights I bought were sized to small. They were marked large/extra large in a store that sells size 20 and they did not fit me, size 16, as the legs were not long enough, and I am not very tall. I was unable to return them for hygiene reasons which is fair enough as it's their store policy, however, their clothes should also be sized as they are labelled as in this case the tights were a small, not an extra large which they were labelled as.
Never arrived, never sent, no email reply. Scam?
Ordered from Dangerfield online store, over 2 weeks and nothing received. Tracking link for Australia post said waiting to receive from sender for almost 2 weeks.
No reply from customer service, there probably isn’t a customer service dept by the looks of it.
PayPal refunded instantly, which indicates to me this store never completes orders.
Beware and pay with PayPal only.
Bad customer service by assistant…
Bad customer service by assistant manager in Geelong store. Won’t shop there again. They had the potential to gain a good customer who spends money but wouldn’t exchange my tagged items inside 14 days despite the fact I have bank transaction proof.
Great service, efficient and speedy
Whatever happened late 2022 with the ordering system is now fixed. I ordered several hundred dollars worth online and then thought to check trustpilot. I got really concerned after reading many bad reviews.
I didnt experience this at all. I received notification items were dispatched within 2 days of purchase. Because it was a large order several stores across Aust fulfilled them. First package received 2 days later.
I experienced no hassles at all and would happily buy again from Dangerfield online.
Terrible customer service
Tried reaching out for a failed order, but the store wouldn't reply. They made out like they were doing me a service by not sending the product I ordered, despite the real reason being that they didn't have the product to send. At the very least being honest about what was happening would have been appreciated, and then they ignored my emails afterward. Will never be ordering from Dangerfield online again.
Pleasantly surprised
didn't find out buying from Dangerfield online was risky until after I had placed my Boxing Day order so I was very scared as I'd bought doc Martens which are quite expensive. however, I received them about 2 weeks after placing my order! so I suppose its hit or miss, maybe if you buy multiple things from their site or you order before Christmas its risky, however, I only just bought the one pair of shoes and nothing else so maybe thats why it was fine. I do hope they begin to become more consistent for the sake of everyone else placing orders, though. its crazy cause they're such a popular and unique shop, they should defs get a better system online
Untrust worthy
This company takes orders for items they do not have in stock and can not supply, they even put these items on sales while people still have outstanding orders pre the sale taking place.
TRUE FAILURES!
Purchased 2 items form the website 13 december. Stated 8-10 days shipping time. More than 10 days passed and my order hadn’t progressed any further than charging my credit card. Two emails to enquire about my order. One response about orders being lost in the system and another asking me not to email again as I would be pushed to the back of the list! I ended up opening a dispute through PayPal who are apparently following up with Dangerfield themselves. Extremely disappointed in their lack of customer service. I will not buy from them again, ever!!!
